I knew that the people arrested are innocent people. The human right abusing Nigerian military is just harassing and embarrassing law abiding citizens of the South East & South South because of selfish reasons. Buhari is a clueless abok1 whose draconian government of shame will soon fail. Nonsense APC government. |
Nonsense government |
Buhari is a clueless m0ron who needs to be guided by sane minds as his actions and comments are affecting the Nigerian economy negatively. If you cannot protect your country from violent herdsmen militia from far away country and from babaric fulani herdsmen militia within the country that shows Buhari is incompetent and unfit to lead and protect a Big and diverse country like Nigeria. PLEASE DISREGARD THE ID1OTIC, TYRANNIC, HOLLOW, SHAMELESS, UNPOLISHED, SEMI ILLITRATE, CORRUPT AND FULANI ETHNIC BIGOT MAN WE HAVE AS PRESIDENT. Nonsense APC Government. |
Buhari's ineptitude, ethnic bigotry, religious fanatism and marginalization of the South East and South South caused this. We warned him not to go the military way but the diplomatic way but he would not listen and Zombies cheered him on. Now, the evil Buhari and his wicked, evil, greedy and clueless APC travellers has done have come back to hunt them. Nonsense government. |
Buhari is a clueless m0ron who needs to be guided by sane minds as his actions and comments are affecting the Nigerian economy negatively. FOR THE RECORDS, ALL NIGERIANS ARE NOT CORRUPT, WE HAVE HONEST, HARDWORKING AND GOD FEARING NIGERIANS WHO WILL MAKE ANY GOOD ORGANIZATION OR COUNTRY PROUD. PLEASE DISREGARD THE ID1OTIC, TYRANNIC, HOLLOW, SHAMELESS, UNPOLISHED, SEMI ILLITRATE, CORRUPT AND ETHNIC BIGOT MAN WE HAVE AS PRESIDENT. |
BUHARI went to the UK and told the general public including government officials of UK that Nigerians are criminals. While sane minds among us criticized him for rubbishing Nigerians image abroad, APC ZOMBIES were praising him for degrading Nigeria abroad. NOW THE WHOLE WORLD NOW SEES NIGERIANS AS CORRUPT AND BUHARI THE FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT LEADER OF PROBABLY THE ONE OF THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTRY. Buhari's ineptitude and clueless actions caused this. |
IF YOU LIKE YOUR LIFE AND THAT OF YOUR GENERATIONS DO NOT EVER MAKE MOCKERY OR USE IN VAIN THE GREAT NAME JESUS. RESPECT YOUR EXISTENCE. Okijajuju1: |
IGBOS ALSO NEED TRADING AND BUSINESS RESERVES OF AT LEAST 70,000 HECTARES IN EACH STATE OF NIGERIA FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SINCE IGBOS ARE DOING BUSINESS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AS THEY ARE MIGRATORY IN NATURE. The IJAWS ALSO NEEDS FISHING RESERVE ALL OVER THE NIGERIA SINCE THEY ARE MOSTLY FISHER MEN AND MIGRANT IN NATURE. SO AT LEAST THE THREE LARGEST RIVERS OR LAKES IN EACH STATE SHOULD BE SET ASIDE FOR THEM BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD AS A MATTER OF URGENCY CREATE BOTH TRADING AND FISHING RESERVES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY FOR THE SOUTH EAST AND SOUTH SOUTH PEOPLE RESPECTIVELY. DaBullIT: |
Your rubbish write up just shows you have nothing in your coconut head. Nnamdi Kanu called for the freedom of his people and will be set free very soon. Any id1otic hausa or fulani who choose to be violent and troublesome in any part of Igboland will be met with the brutal consequencies of his/her actions while the peaceful and law abiding ones should have nothing to fear. IGBOLAND IS MEANT FOR CIVILIZED HUMANS NOT FOR PRE-HISTORIC BARBARIANS. |

THIS IS UNFORTUNATE !!! THE IMO STATE GOVERNOR REALLY MESSED UP ON THIS ONE Eze Njemanze's Owerri Kingdom Divided, As Imo Govt Recognise Autonomous Traditional Rulers Eze NJEMANZE In what appears a clear division of the kingdom of the ancient city of Owerri, the Imo State Government Thursday recognized the autonomy of the five villages that make up Owere Nchi Ise- Owerri Municipal. For decades, Owerri community have been ruled by the Njemanze Royal Dynasty of Amawom village. This has been strongly opposed by the component communities that make up Owerri municipal. Attempts in the past to wrestle traditional authority from the Njemanze’s have been futile. After granting autonomous status to the five villages that make up Owerri recently, the State Governor finally issued staff of authority to the five Traditional rulers that make Owere Nchi Ise which implies that the overall traditional status of Eze Emmanuel Njemanze, the present overall Eze Owere( Traditional Ruler) has been weakened. Efforts to speak to the monarch on the development was futile but some sources close to him said he is "victimized" for his staunch support for the opposition PDP. Njemanze was among some traditional rulers who fraternized with the PDP having defied a government directive not to receive then President Goodluck Jonathan during one of his campaign tours to Imo State. His Palace was rocked by fire in 2014. Till date, the State Government has refused to aid the Monarch to repair his burnt palace as he currently resides outside his kingdom. http://innocentonyeukwu..com.ng/2015/12/eze-njemanzes-owerri-kingdom-divided-as.html |
Umahi kick starts N1.2BN Water Project, rural electrification Health and Living image Pic: Gov Umahi with Deputy Governor, Kelechi Igwe; and Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Francis Orji, during the flagging off of the N1.2bn Ivo Water Project in Ishiagu, Ivo LGA, Ebonyi State on Tuesday. Photo: EBSG The Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, has flagged off the construction of the Ivo Water Project estimated to cost over N1.2bn. Speaking at the ceremony in Amagu Ishiagu, Ivo Local Government Area, Umahi disclosed that the project which was conceived when he was a deputy governor was a Federal Government-assisted project. Umahi, who commended Senator Anyim Pius Anyim for his contributions towards the realization of the water project, said, “We requested for assistance from the Federal Government for this Ivo Water Project. It was supposed to be for Ishiagu alone, but we decided to expand it to reach Akaeze community and also get to our model rice mill in Oso Edda.” He said that 70 per cent of the money needed to complete the project was ready, stressing that the counterpart funding from the Federal Government was also available with the state government. Umahi, who used the occasion to thank the people of Ivo LGA for their support during the last governorship election, assured them of the provision of roads and electricity. “Roads are still coming, electricity will still come,” he assured, stressing that when the water project is completed, the government will be proud to say that the water need of the LGA has been solved. Earlier in an address on the occasion, the Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Francis Orji, stated that the project which has a 12-month completion period was awarded to Chap Construction Limited at the cost of N1, 203,824,347.44k. Orji thanked Governor Umahi for his huge investments in the water sector and assured of the commitment of his ministry “to ensure that the project is started, executed and completed in the most professional manner”. Similarly, Governor Umahi commissioned the Uburu Rural Electrification and Uburu Street light projects. Performing the ceremony at Umunaga Agu-Ugwu and the Old Market Square, Amata Uburu in Ohaozara LGA, Umahi said, “When we came on board, we sat down to say look it is better to start our rural electrification community by community. If we come to one community, we finish everything about rural electrification of that community.” The governor told Uburu people to hold the Commissioner for Power, Chief Emmanuel Uguru, responsible if there was any part of Uburu without electricity. He said, “Our agreement is for this (electricity) to get to every part of Uburu so that for years, Uburu will not ask for electricity again, and from there we will go to another community anywhere in Ebonyi State.” The governor announced with regrets, attempt by some people to vandalize the electricity cables and directed that the suspects must be prosecuted. He charged Uburu people to protect all government investments in their area, warning that any vandalized public utility would not be repaired. Umahi said, “You have to guard government’s investments. This is your own dividend of democracy. So any one vandalized will not be repaired.” The governor thanked Chief Uguru and his team for their commitment in delivering on set goals. http://dailyreviewonline.com.ng/2015/12/25/umahi-kick-starts-n1-2bn-water-project-rural-electrification/#.VoLeIlLlYsY |

OSEMOTOR-ELU-IGBO MARINE UNIVERSITY : UNLOCKING ECONOMIC POTENTIALS OF IMO RIVERINE COMMUNITY Columns/Special Reports, Others image Pix 1: Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere listening to the Managing Director of ISOPADEC , Dr. Henry Okafor as he makes explanations during a tour of the site for International Marine University in Osemotor-Elu Igbo recently. image Pix2: Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere being welcome by HRH, Eze Francis Ihejiamatu Okafor when he arrived Osemotor-Elu Igbo for inspection of the site of proposed International Marine University and level of work done recently. Uche Onwuchekwa Atmosphere in Osemotor-Elu-Igbo naturally looks peaceful. Women and children are either seen working in their farms or paddling their canoe on the lake engaging in their traditional vocation of farming and fishing. Beyond farming and fishing, Osemotor has a rich history of Commerce during the time of colonial masters and after the attainment of Independence. The story is different in the present day Osemotor as it has become a shadow of itself. Emergence and intervention of Rescue Mission Government led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has in no little way rekindled the dashed hope of the people. This may explain the fanfare and warm welcome that greeted the arrival of the convoy of the number two citizen Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere. People of Osemotor could only betray their mind by the joy the displayed when Prince Eze Madumere paid an unscheduled visit to Osemotor-Elu Igbo with one mission in mind, which was to tour over 150 stretched hectares of proposed site for International Marine University. It will be recalled that when Governor Okorocha promised to liaise Korean Marine University and other relevant agencies to build Marine University in 2013 in Oguta following its natural endowment of aquatic features, it was received with accolades and words of encouragement. The government making real her promise expedited action and with Osemotor-Elu Igbo buying into this life changing project when they willingly donated their land to kick-start the project. Knowing that its decision was a right step in the right direction, Owelle Rochas Okorocha wasted no time in performing the Foundation Laying ceremony. True to his word, through the Imo State Oil Producing headed by Hon. Dr. Henry Okafor some work has been done. One could see the administrative block, which has reached the first slab stage. The foundations of the two massive hostels, with each having one hundred rooms, have been completed. However, other structures are at one stage or the other. Given the import of Marine studies, like Madumere observes that; it is an area that affects the very existence of human beings. . He opined that researches in that area affects the people’s socio-economic and political life given the import of marine life, water as a source of transportation and how best to preserve the living things in water, which are of immense economic importance. He also said that given the historical importance of the lake and its uniting features to other parts of the country, he said it is strategic and therefore the establishment of the University along the riverine area will definitely make a potent investment. Marine University will definitely bring about desired investment in the area of shipping management, Port Management, Maritime Safety and Environmental Administration, Maritime Law and Policy and of course training in other more technical area like Ship building, maintenance and recycling of ships. Going on memory lane, Dr. Henry Okafor, the Managing Director said Osemotor was never the original name of the place but called Elu-Igbo. He narrated that the Elu-Igbo used to be a hub for Igbos from various parts of the old Eastern region. He said it had mini port where Liverpool and other western companies lifted farm produce and other raw materials to trans-load to a bigger ship for transportation to the Europe and other parts of the globe. He revealed that it was the activities around the area with high traffic of vehicular movements. And since Elu-Igbo, which is at the bank of the Lake became a park of sort for transporters; hence people started calling it Osemotor, which means Motor Park. He said ever since people have preferred to call their place Osemotor rather than Elu-Igbo – its original name. Hon. Henry recalled that between Obasanjo and Jonathan’s administration, efforts to resuscitate the Port at Elu-Igbo was abandoned for political reason while the Naval Base is yet to get off ground. He therefore used to opportunity to appeal to the Governor of Imo State through his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere to remind President Buhari of the import of the two major establishments in the area, which he said will to a large extent yield economic dividends to both the State and Federal Government. Speaking further, he said if the proposed International Marine University is completed, it will be the First of its kind in Africa; he therefore commended Governor for embarking on such a legacy project, which will forever in the heart of the people. He thanked Imo State Deputy Governor for taking time with the Permanent Secretaries of the relevant Ministries for a proper stock taking for necessary action. We had Mr. George Eche from the Ministry of Works and Transport. We had Dr. Ekeanyanwu and Mr. Okoro from Ministries of Tertiary Education and Housing respectively. Receiving Prince Eze Madumere, HRH, Eze Francis Ihejiamatu Okafor, showered encomium on Prince Eze Madumere for being epitome of humility and exemplary leadership. He however observed that he is so happy that his coming was unsolicited by the people, which shows government’s interest in the development of their uplace. http://dailyreviewonline.com.ng/2015/09/08/osemotor-elu-igbo-marine-university-unlocking-economic-potentials-of-imo-riverine-community/#.VoLaFlLlYsY |
