Okija juju: Nna men....No,it was culled,,,,,, http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/pdp-to-sanction-govs-for-not-recognising-jang-as-ngf-chair/149263/ |
mr_man: According to the governor from the North-west zone, “Immediately Chief Anenih made that comment, we commenced consultations, but the more we speak among ourselves, the more we are thrown into confusion over what to do.” He said further: “Most PDP governors who are not on the side of the president still hold the strong view that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not an option.” APC is the proposed coalition of major opposition parties in the country comprising the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and a faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He added: “By the time we leave PDP to join APC, the party structures would have been formed; already the sharing formula would have been agreed on, and any party you join and you don’t have your people in the party structure, then you are not a senior member.” The governor said his colleagues who might want to leave the party were sceptical of the national leader of the ACN, Senator Bola Asiwaju, his antics and domineering style, especially what he described as “Tinubu’s use and dump” tactics. Citing the example of the former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, and Nuhu Ribadu, whom the former Lagos State governor dumped at the last minute in 2011 to support Jonathan, he said these actions were consistent and were of major concern for the PDP governors.Bunch of self-serving,ungrateful,treacherous,disloyal politicians LOL @ being sceptical of Tinubu"s antics and domineering style. "Tinubu's use and dump tactics" , una never halla |
Way to go. All the Judases must be dealt with, and dealt with promptly, you cannot be for us and be against us at the same time, any of them that wants to decamp to ACN or CPC is very free to do so,but you cannot continue enjoying the protection of the umbrella and yet keep poking holes in the umbrella that is protecting you |
I wont say anything about Buhari now, nairalanders have spoken in an overwhelming voice against his treachery and deceipt |
Thread reeking with boot lickers. Well done Fashola, but must it be tolled for all, couldn't you make it toll-free for tax payers, while only those without proof of tax payment pay the toll?. Tax payers in Lagos state please take heart |
This is the reason Buhari, the emir of his town and other enemies that have vowed to make Nigeria ungovernable for President Jonathan kicked against house to house searches by our gallant jtf troops, now we see a bit of what they're trying to hide |
BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA.... I CHOOSE 'APC'Is it their red colour you like or what,,, Well good point for African Peoples Congress,APC |
Hmm tell me why Seun will not great(men like us spot these traits). Your capacity for seeking to make amends whenever you notice you've made a blunder is one of the hallmarks of good leaders. This was the same thing you did in 2008 during the stock section/new nigerians saga BTW,my thoughts on the remaining "RULES" are that they mostly and essentially constitute a baggage of encumberance to free, open and robust interaction on this forum.Yes there's need for rules and enforecement of same, but the truck load you guys reeled out could be drastically edited to do away with the unecessary ones that will definitely gag/shackle and kill nairalanders with boredom, except of course you want to insert an "unsubsribe" or "opt out" option for those that may be too pissed with the "RULES" to remain in the ship |
sasview: But that young man can ruin you!Who Tinubu abi Amaechi?? |
Mark you, only Buhari can determine who is better than him,and any election/primary that he does not win,is fraudulent. I'm only counting down to when katakata will burst in their ACNCPC or whatever name they will choose(as they WILL NEVER get APC) I said this much on this link: https://www.nairaland.com/1220662/north-shops-vice-presidential-candidate/4#14699801 |
Former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, said he “will surely seek the mandate” of Nigerians in the 2015 presidential election under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC. Buhari who lost the 2011election on the platform of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, however said he was ready to step down for any other better candidate that may emerge under the new party. He spoke in Minna, capital of Niger State during the maiden edition of Sam Nda-Isaiah Annual Lecture Series, saying that politics should not be seen as a do-or-die affair. Buhari, however advocated that the best candidate should always be given a chance in the midst of many. He said: “Whoever said he wants to contest has a chance. Let him come out because the more we are, the merrier. But I will be ready to step down if there is a formidable and better candidate. You guys should be real for once. Two people are involved in a marriage and they should both take the blame if it fails - it is not always the man's fault.Well done Nashville You should run for the governorship seat of Tennessee . Excellent submission |
lain: i ve always suspected that killernubu to have a hand in funsho williams death.. Nigerians should be careful come 2015.. Its either we vote pdp or any other party not that criminal organisation Acn(except if buhari would be their presidential flag bearer) led by the devil himself tinubu...Aside from those who are beneficiaries of Tinubu's filthy lucre in one way or the other,I pity those who lick his bum and idolise him |
A betrayer (Tinubu) cannot be the messiah, neither is APC, a collection of frustrated and power hungry ex this' and ex thatsExactly The only unfortunate thing is that some people believe the fraudsters |
anonimi: Is there any difference between what Falae and Tinubu did to late Funsho Williams in 1999 and what Akpabio "confessed" to recently about influencing the outcome of the PDP senatorial primaries in his stateNo mate, there will never be a time that PDP will become so small,so inferior and so hypocrtitically undemocratic,as to be compared to the ACN |
Chieftain of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Olu Falae, spoke at the weekend of how he can never again work with National Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Bola Tinubu, because he (Tinubu) and some others “rebelled” against leaders of the group during the Alliance for Democracy (AD) days. They broke away from Afenifere and became rebels. “They teamed up with another rebel group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to form the ACN. Tinubu, then as Governor of Lagos State, was a member of the AD. But Falae claimed that Tinubu never won the AD primaries in 1999, and that God According to him, “Late Funsho Williams who won the primary election of the AD backed down after my intervention,,,he allowed Tinubu to become AD governorship nominee to save our leader, Pa Abraham Adesanya, the late leader of Afenifere, who announced him as the winner. Ironically, Tinubu turned round to destroy Afenifere. “It was Williams who won the AD primaries,,, ; Pa Adesanya settled for Tinubu as the winner of the governorship primaries “Tinubu suffered in consequence and was in exile abroad while I was detained with others for two years in Nigeria. Pa Adesanya insisted that one of us who suffered should be governor so that he could rehabilitate others quote] And so many gullible ones were deceived and led astray, believing that Adesanya and his AD clique that peoduced Tinubu were actually democrats and honest politicians |
It's not April 1 yet na haba |
There goes the fraudster in cassock |

No wonder Oga Jacobs is yet to develop a pot-belly at his ageOh,I see |
In case you missed it before, well oops there it is; When will you guys learn that, pounding away on your keyboards does not have any political value.I was so amused by the naive political submissions of the large crowd of politically-uninformed and even apolitical(as a lot of them either had no voters card or have never ever gone out to cast their vote, some even consider themselves too big to go out and queue up in the sun to cast their votes or most of them reside outside Nigeria and cannot vote)nairalanders who never seemed to realise that making so much noise online HAS NEVER,and WILL NEVER amount to a single vote It's a shame that the opposition has chosen to play to the gallery(by making noise on the pages of newspapers,on the internet) to get public applause and leave the very basic and serious work of politicking to the PDP to do,little wonder they even forgot to go and register a name they intended to use for their merger, now THEY HAVE LOST THAT NAME FOREVER. I've said we will dig more political trenches and fight from there,as we know what's at stake.I'm happy with the NWC and the NEC of the PDP as each school of opinion/thought within the party has made its points/grievances known and there are serious moves to assuage frayed nerves and to sort things out amicably,an exercise that will hardly be shouted about in public. Congratulations to the FCT chapter of the PDP for a job very well done |
![]() Act 1,scene 2 How many of you REALLY understand what is going on? Na small pikin wey no know fish, dey call am didi |
solopumpy227: You can force a horse to the river but you can force water down its throat. GEJ is going the self-destructive way of OBJ. True respect and long-lasting loyalty can only be earned and not through oppression and force. Your Man is applying pressure by sitting on the piston-its a matter of time the caterbloom will consume GEJ/Bamanga Tukur.Clap for yourself If the man pleads and cajoles, you all will call him weak,if he stands firm and does certain things underground, you call him a bully. Anyway,I have good news for you, dont worry about how GEJ relates with his brothers in his PDP family,as I see you are not a member, just care about how he delivers as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. |
autchkings: I have not even seen any good performance from either ACN OR CPC governors. They only have loud mouth. They 'll only break nigerians heart the more if they happen to enter presidential sit which i know they never get there. I just hate them for their noise,is this same noise they took to Ondo state where they fall like over rip pawpaw. though i am not in support of PDP either. The problem of Nigeria is not party, these guy are just politcian ( self centred people)they are just after their personal interest. Note this, ACN, CPC OR APC will always do worst than PDP if given the opportunity. So Nigerians shine your eyes oh!!!!!Intelligent observation |

@ OP See your mouth like war.You wish. Some members of the family were derailing and were on the verge of betraying the family that gave them life, projected them to whatever stage they are right now, made them who they are politically,so as a responsible family, steps were taken to whip them back in line before they do further damage to themselves,of course, they were jolted back to the realisation that they would be nobody without the family. What they are doing now is the expected "sulking in their rooms",they'll be fine, some of their egbons are already explaining the reality of political life to them. |
They cant even register a political party, yet they want to rule Nigeria. I laugh in APC https://www.nairaland.com/1223154/pdp-mocks-apc-says-it |
autchkings: Sorry ooh! i don't belong to any party,Is there any better party? Weither PDP,ACN or what ever they call their name they are all wicked politician doing the same evil. Even ACN claiming the best party. what have they achived in their state the bad PDP have not do in their own state. After all ACN have been power in lagos for over 14yrs now i have not seen any thing new they have done. Even the best performing governor is not ACN governor. Why all this their noise every where. Nigerians should wise up, the problem of nigerians is not ACN OR PDP because there is no difference between the parties is just name that diffrentiate them. They are just wicked poltician. WISE UP WISE UP NIGERIANS!!!!!!!Kindly explain how Nigerians should "WISE UP",or what they must do to "WISE UP" |
porka: It's also a possibility.True talk |
@ All ACN and CPC nairalanders, I suggest you guys forward your suggestions to Bourdillon as it appears there's paucity of ideas over there. So dont just post your thoughts here only ![]() Meanwhile,PDP is quietly reaching out to all estranged and aggrieved party men, across the board, and the reconciliation process is in full swing.Very serious meetings are going on round the clock, but nobody is making noise about it |
PointB: My guy you are too late. My people are already on their way. We are going to register African Democratic Coalition (ADC) . Documents, logo, and flags are set, no time to waste.Muhehe muhehe ![]() Politics 101 |
