If you think Atiku would get PDP's ticket let alone winning Buhari in the Northeast, then you need to have your head checked.

Whoever tells you that Atiku can win Buhari in Borno, Yobe, Bauchi and even his own State of Adamawa also needs to have his brain examined.

If you think there's any way Atiku can win Buhari in Niger, Nasarawa, Plateau and Kogi, then you must be kidding.

Coming to the Southwest, Buhari is sure of winning Ondo, Ogun, Lagos, Oyo and even Odin. Atiku may only win Ekiti State IF he gets the ticket.

South South, Edo State is also sure for Buhari. No doubt! Results can never be written in Rivers and Delta States anymore as it was the case in 2015 and Buhari would get a reasonable number of votes in these two States. He only needs about 20% of votes each in Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Bayelsa and he could get them.

As for Southeast, 30% is okay from Imo State. With PDP's recent poor performance in the guber polls, I'm sure Buhari could still get 30% of votes from there. Heavyweights from Abia are now in APC and they can give Buhari 25% of the votes there. 10% from Enugu and 20% from Ebonyi would do wonders.

As for Northwest, the triple K's would cause havoc as usual. Kaduna, Kano and Katsina votes would outshine that of the Southeast. Zamfara, Kebbi, Jigawa and Sokoto are always there to deliver.

If you're reasonable enough, you'd know with this analysis up there, there's no way Atiku can get 35% of the votes cast.

Atiku that came distant third during the APC Presidential Primaries??

Middle Belt (North Central) and most of Northeast is for Atiku to win come 2019 stubborn Buhari will only have his mumu Northwest to claim to his side. I am too sure of one thing that Buhari will be disgraced come 2019 and if APC dares rig the elections they shall be firmly resisted and physically roasted. APC is evil so is Buhari. APC only have a say in the real sense of it in Lagos.

Politics › How Fulani Jihadist Invaded Today's Northwest Nigeria! by Ratello(op): 4:10am On Jan 12, 2018
This is why history must be taught in our schools. Those who neglect History are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past. Please read below and learn. BEWARNED!!!!!!!

The Gross influx of Fulani herdsmen presently and now calls for the sharing of this history.
By John. (All JUKUNS SHOULD READ THIS.)

The story is told of how King Yunfa, the Hausa Sarki in Gobir (now called Sokoto) hosted a Fulani immigrant called Usman Dan Fodiyo and his group in February 1804, as a result of this and since 1808 the whole of the northern region lost its kingdoms and were replaced by Fulani emirates.

King Yunfa is said to have been killed in 1808 and the Fulani warrior (Usman Dan Fodiyo) established Sokoto caliphate, making himself Sultan.

Gradually, other Hausa kingdoms were pillaged and taken over by the Fulani emirs. The ethnic groups in the core north were the first victims of Fulani imperialism, a venture that occurred because the people were given access to grazing land as a result of the hospitality of the hosts.

They however failed to overrun the Bornu and Jukun kingdoms , so the Shehu of Bornu and Aku Uka remains paramount till today!

The Afonja dynasty compromised by allowing a Fulani warrior known as Janta Alimi to settle in Ilorin, the Fulani guerrillas killed Afonja in 1824

And Ilorin, a Yoruba town under the Oyo empire, fell into Fulani hands, becoming an emirate under Sokoto caliphate till today! Even the attempts of the O'odua People's Congress (OPC) to revert to status quo ante and crown an Onilorin of Ilorin became an exercise in futility.

The Yoruba warriors got wise and defeated the Fulani jihadists in Osogbo in 1840, if this didn't happen there would most likely have been Fulani "emirs" as rulers in Oyo Alaafin, Ibadan, Owo, Osogbo, Ede, Ado, and Igede Ekiti today!

If the Bini Kingdom did not fight and repel the jihadists, they would have penetrated the Edo/Delta region beyond the present day Edo North Senatorial District which gave in and allowed the jihadists to overrun & islamize them.

Along with some ignorant folk most of them are now angling for grazing areas and a corridor through the entire federation. These grazing areas will in future become Fulani settlements, later communities and finally local government areas with elected officials.
If you think I am being alarmist look towards the once beautiful and serene Middle Belt state of Plateau.

The exact same thing happened in Jos.

Therefore, it will not be farfetched to conclude that the Fulani herdsmen are pawns in an agenda to overrun all towns in Nigeria! So that we will have emirs in Owerri, Enugu, Benin, Agatu,Wukari, Abeokuta and other towns where FG creates "grazing reserves" for Fulani herdsmen!

If Yunfa didn't accommodate Fodio and his warlike immigrants from Futatoro, Hausa sarkis would be ruling today in the north!

And if Afonja didn't conspire with Alimi, a Yoruba kingdom would not have been ruled by Alimi's offspring till today!

It is a subtle continuation of the 1804 Fulani jihad by the fully-armed and protected Fulani herdsmen with an age-old agenda to overrun and Islamize the whole of Nigeria very quickly.

I will end this with what someone rightly said- "The grazing bill is not an attempt to solve the problem, it's a subterfuge to progress the agenda"

It's an age-old political strategy really- ..create a problem, come up with a "solution" that advances the cause, and then give it a legal backing.
Make it look like a win-win situation.

Be as wise as serpents....

List of 7 forces Atiku must overcome to contest in 2019

Author: Aanu Adegun

UPDATED: 3 MONTHS AGO

Category: Local news

- The forces against former vice president Atiku Abubakar is believed to be numerous

- From his former boss, Obasanjo, whom some believed has vowed to stop Atiku's political ambition to the overwhelming support of the incumbent president, the former vice president has great hurdles to cross

- Many still see him as a corrupt leader. The corruption tag was foisted on him during his trouble with his then boss, Obasanjo

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria's former vice president, is one of the heavyweights who is expected to contest for the highest office in Nigeria, come 2019 general election.

But the former vice president has many factors working against him.

Barely a year and five months to the next presidential election, Atiku would have to overcome some forces to get to the hot presidential seat, the Sun reports.

Some of the factors Atiku needs to overcome is believed to include:

1. The Obasanjo factor

Desite the fact that Atiku has sought to reconcile with his former boss, the duo still have a frosty relationship according to reports. Some people even believe Obasanjo is out to kill Atiku politically.

The former president, though retired is believed very influential in the political scene in Nigeria. His support is also believed to be critical to anybody contesting for the presidency under Nigeria’s present political configuration.

Ekiti state Governor, Ayo Fayose, is said to have said in a recent interview that: “Obasanjo told me that when you capture a General and you don’t kill him, he will come back and kill you; that since Atiku tried to stop him and failed, he must pay for it. And he (Atiku) is still paying for it.”

2. Mallam Nasir El-rufai force

Some people believed Atiku was instrumental in bringing Nasir El-rufai, the Kaduna state governor into the Obasanjo administration and making him the director general of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) and eventually a minister.

They have since fallen apart.

Atiku sometime in November 2016 accused the governor and former EFCC Chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, of betrayal.

In his response, El-rufai said: “Alhaji Atiku is already running for 2019, and he thinks that he can make people like us collateral damage in his attempt to rejuvenate his image. This obsession for power inclined him to support the rebellion against the party that manifested in the National Assembly, and is continuing with obvious disrespect for the incumbent president. Everyone knows that I support and will continue to work for the success of President Muhammadu Buhari as he leads our country through tough times.”

Atiku is believed to be one of those who would stick with Buhari to the very end.

3. Corruption allegations

Many still see him as a corrupt leader. The corruption tag was foisted on him during his trouble his his then boss, Obasanjo.

Unfortunately, Atiku is yet to shake off this tag.

The former vice president recently lashed out at those portraying him as corrupt in the mainstream media, describing them as self-righteous political enemies.

“It is sickening to continue to regurgitate allegations of corruption against me by people who have failed to come forward with a single shred of evidence of my misconduct while in office,” he said.

4. Political platform to ride on

The political platform where the former vice president will run is exoected to pose a major challenge.

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, national chairman of the APC, had in may this year declared that President Buhari would be given the right of first refusal for the party’s presidential ticket in the 2019 election.

The implication is that if Buhari chooses to seek re-election, Atiku is very unlikely to get the ticket of the APC.

However, unconfirmed reports have it that Atiku is one of those being wooed by the PDP to return to the party and fly the party’s presidential flag in 2019.

“The question I ask people who say that is this: what is the desperation about somebody following his dream? When you are so passionate about something, what is the desperation there? If you can say Atiku is desperate, you would also tell me that President Buhari was desperate. After the 2011 election, President Buhari told the world that he was not going to run again. The rest is history but today, he is the president. For me, it is not out of desperation but patriotic zeal and dedication towards one’s fatherland,” said Atiku’s former campaign director and the National President, All Atiku Support Groups, Oladimeji Fabiyi.

5. Buhari’s acceptance in the North and his second coming

Many people believe that with a Buhari candidacy, it is unlikely that the North would vote for Atiku, given the president's popularity in the region.

Preye Aganaba, a founding member of the APC, Bayelsa stated recently noted: “I don’t think for now that the APC has any other choice than to re-elect President Buhari, though people are free to contest; nobody is stopping them. This is APC where we usually have free and fair primaries. The last presidential primaries in Lagos, President Buhari won more than half of the votes. During the last APC presidential primaries, the campaign slogan for Buhari was ‘12 million assured votes’ and I don’t think one single vote has left that 12 million assured votes. In fact, more has even been added.”

6. Power rotation arrangement

It seems there is also an unwritten power-sharing agreement between the north and the south every eight years. It was consolidated in 2007 when former president Obasanjo, a southerner, handed over power to the late president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua after eight years (1999 -2007). The mechanism was devised to keep the peace in the country.

It remain to be seen how Atiku would convinced the power brokers in the south that he would serve for a single term in office and quit in 2023.

7. His image among the masses

Atiku's image among the masses is believed not to be so good. The damage caused by the trouble between him and Obasanjo has damaged his image among the masses.

I NEED ANSWER PLS
My brother it is both because it is the party that forms the platform on which a candidate can fly his ambition and in this case the party manifestoes normally project the candidate in good light before the general public. Also when the party over the years had disappointed the people this will also affect the candidate it tries to project.

PDP Will Not Disappoint You, Atiku Tells Nigerians
By NewNigerianNewsPapers - January 8, 2018

By; IBRAHIM ADAMU, Kaduna
Unlike the fraudulent All Progressives Congress (APC), which promised Nigerians heaven on earth, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the only party that will transform the country and take its economy back to its prosperity.
Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar expressed this in Kaduna at the weekend, when one of his supporters, Miss Zainab Musa Pindar organised a reception for him at the Arewa House, welcoming him back to the PDP.

A statement signed by Jacob Onjewu Dickson, spokesman to the Chairman of Atiku Care Foundation, Ambassador Aliyu Ibn Abbas made avaikable to newsmen in Kaduna on January 8, 2018, informed that the Wazirin Adamawa further told his supporters to spread the gospel of PDP’s good plans to the people at the grassroots.
“PDP still remains the only national party in Nigeria. It is the hope of the common man to be free from the fraud called the APC,” Atiku who was represented by Ambassador Abbas said.
He praised Miss Pindar for committing her resources to funding the lavish reception, while adding that Nigeria needs such patriotic youth in good positions to contribute meaningful ideas that would move the country forward.

Earlier in her remarks at the gathering, Miss Zainab Pindar vowed to do every thing within her capacity to project and campaign for the success of Wazirin Adamawa and the PDP come 2019.
“We will use our time, resources, energy and contacts in ensuring the PDP and Wazirin Adamawa is successful in the 2019 election.

#AtikuCareProject2019,” she said. The programme attracted some very important personalities which includes Alh. Ibrahim Aliyu Wusono the PDP Secretary Kaduna State, Hon. A.A Yaron Kirki Sardaunan Kajuru represented the Former Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, Alh. Yusuf Dan Bala and the PDP Local Government Chairman Igabi Local Government among others.

Politics › The Sarakistan Cookie! by Ratello(op): 9:53am On Jan 08, 2018
THE SARAKISTAN COOKIE

"In the place that I call Sarakistan, there are those who believe that the scion of the political dynasty and current hegemon's having no local tap roots and therefore no feeling for the people or stakes beyond that of a buccaneer is the reason why he feels no compunction in looting the place dry. I wonder what, if any, his U.K citizenship has to do with his famed rapacity for the Nigerian commonwealth. It has always been my contention that at certain levels, people that hold dual/multiple citizenships should not be allowed to hold high public office. For strategic national interests. To my mind there's something sinister about someone holding the nationality of two countries then seeking and/or occupying high leadership positions in one. Where exactly would his allegiance go in the event of a conflict? The Bible says one cannot serve two masters. Even the Yoruba say he that chases two mice simultaneously will loose both. But more on this later.

Trust people to dig things up. We are now learning that the man's great grandfather was originally from Siera Leone and only used to come and consult the local Alfas in Agbaji quarters for jass (talisman). That his grandfather was born during his own father's itineracy in Yorubaland as a Kolanut merchant. And that his father, the one that started the dynasty, adopted indigeneship of a suburb of the capital city sometime around 1964 to sidestep the then very stiff political competition in his Egba birth place.

Every authentic person from the city of the Iron Sharpener has a township and country ancestral home and land in the surrounding area. When the people want to drive home the point of the foreignness of their oppressor, they ask you to show them his ancestral and village home or farm and/or point to his local extended family. The anger is growing and building up. It is so palpable one can almost hold it. A popular refrain in the resistance urges the people to "drive out the Atohunrinwa and his Omo Ale collaborators". Atohunrinwa is one that walked over here from yonder or his child and Omo Ale is a bastard. They say it is because he's not one of them that he is able to pepper them so much with the only thing he has in his mind, greed, and in his hand, thorns. And that the bastards that work for him sell everyone else short because of the 'ise' (poverty) and 'atenuje', (sycophancy) that afflicts most of the people.

Now this is a terrible combination, the worst situation a people can find themselves in. When a stranger takes over the affairs of a people, the obvious result is suffering and hue and cry. And as thinking people know, the house that is calm and prosperous is one in which the bastard therein is yet to come of age. Now add that to the induced poverty, hypocrisy and sycophancy of many of the people and you get a picture of an evil dynasty of foreigners or foreign-born pretenders to local indigeneship that has operated for 40 years and seem set to last for another 40 years if the people do no more than wail and wring their hands in frustration and resignation. The hegemon knows what he is doing - pauperize the people and keep them under. Then feed a select few of them crumbs and keep them dependent. The others can fast. They will accept your lead and follow you. Much like what Joseph Stalin was reported to have demonstrated with the naked and hungry chicken to his politburo colleagues in the former USSR. He it was that plucked its feathers and he it was that fed it corn in a trail from the steps to a seat in the chamber. But he it was that the chicken followed.

So I took a deep breath and a long look at my visitor and informant and told him, "Don't expect your salvation to come from sons of the soil outside. You have to look inwards. Some of those sojourning outside do the little or much they can. Take it for whatever it is worth. Their Aguda (catholic) does not feed under the Geesi (Anglican) of your 'Leader'. They saw the stifling situation and moved out to seek fortunes elsewhere. It's you that must persuade or defeat the enemies of progress in your midst. It's true that a Gulusu (slave/servant) and/or Alatenuje (sycophant) cannot see the 'laifi' (fault) of his 'olowo' (master). I understand that some of you have seen the light but are held down by the gullible, selfish and perfidious others who because of the mess of porridge they currently get or hope to get insist on keeping and protecting the status quo and continuously work against the people's aspirations, interests and future to the benefit of the hegemony. But the largest part of the work is still yours to do. When you people are ready, you will get the right leadership, the one you deserve. Good luck."

Then I removed N2,000 Naira from my wallet and pressed it into his hands for transport fare. I saw a bright gleam replace the hungry look in his eyes and spread into a broad smile on his face. He said he's owed 4 months salary. Who knows when he last ate. That's how the cookie crumbles in Sarakistan."

Excerpts from an upcoming publication and part of my contribution to the discourse on Citizenship, Nationality and Patriotism.

It is too certain that Buhari or any candidate APC will field shall encounter strict resistance from Nigerians going by the general outcry against the style of leadership exhibited by Buhari, open letters from notable organizations and individuals. The only option left for APC to win in 2019 is rigging and they will be firmly resisted. PDP may not be the best choice for now but Nigerians have no choice other than to vote out APC compulsorily in 2019! Atiku stands a better chance and a bigger choice to Dankwambo.

The Atiku/ Dankwambo Dilemma

Both candidates are great Sons of Nigeria and excellent candidates eminently qualified to fly the party flag.

While we agree that all members of the platform have the right to associate with any aspirant of their choice , it is instructive to note that the interest of the party and its chances in the 2019 should be of paramount interest to us all.

Major issues

1. Who among the two has the needed popularity to match the cult followership of the incompetent king of Daura

2. Who among the two has the network across geopolitical zones to match the APC structures that control 2/ 3 of the country and a Tinubu that is back on board to protect his 2023 interest.

3. Who among the two has the needed financial strength to match the APC and their lagos and Federal might

4. if The PDP Govs have their way the 2 time what does it portends for party unity going into the most important election

As Image makers of the party, If we refuse to go for the most popular candidate we will not only be deceiving ourselves we will be deceiving the party leadership, its leaders and its teaming supporters in addition to sentencing citizens of this great nation to another 4 years of unbearable hardship .

If we don't beat APC in 2019 then let's forget it, because APC is at its weakest point and with Dangote Refinery up for completion in 2019 a project we midwived there will be no hope for us coming up against Younger and more effective candidates in 2023 God willing. So let's tell ourselves the truth , brace up with reality and support the strongest Candidate to emerge.

My submission is simple any Candidate that is not Atiku is a waste of time 2019, I am not God but these 3 wilderness years should have taught us enough common sense to extricate us from suicidal hypocrisy and self destruct tendencies.

May God help us to see beyond micro interest.

Below are forty-one promises contained in the APC Manifesto as published by the party prior to the Presidential election.

The promises below are extracted from the two official documents released by APC as their Manifesto titled ‘Securing Nigeria’s Future’ and ‘Roadmap to a New Nigeria’, all published by the APC and signed by the then Presidential aspirant, now President Muhammadu Buhari. Please note that some of the promises that do not require funds to be implemented are even yet to even be initiated.

Securing Nigeria’s Future’
