8.9 billion naira election bills? What happened to all the revenue generated from the party forms in 2023? Internal and external Investigations should occur. Media need to shine some torch light on this. Additionally, the APC chairman urged Tinubu to help secure a parcel of land in the Federal Capital Territory for a new party secretariat, arguing that the current facility was outdated and inadequate for a ruling party.Insult upon injury. Nigerians are going into struggling with basic amenities and eroded value of the naira and the ruling party is making these ridiculous demands. Shows how disconnected they are from reality. |
Trump bulldozing everyone to have his way. You don't like it? Move away or get crushed. |
Take the lesson. Forget the delivery. Let Nigeria not happen to you. |
The cost of petrol is coming down, and efforts are being made by Mr President to fix the road. I am happy that the policies of Mr President are working. Today, a dollar is about N1,400. And let me use the opportunity to express dissatisfaction with the cost of cement.Sometimes you wonder if the media gets the quotes wrong or this is actually the way these politicians talk. The logic of cement (being produced in Nigeria) increasing at astronomical percentages does not make sense in a working economy. |
This is looking good but how long can the CBN support the naira with weekly FX sales to the BDCs? That will determine how long this "rise" will last. Meanwhile folks, hold on to your lily-white purse. |
Responding on X, El-Rufai dismissed Omokri as a “PR consultant” and “online influencer,” adding that such individuals thrive in the “Renewed Hope era” due to their “moral flexibility” and “total shamelessness.” Omokri, in turn, reiterated his claims that El-Rufai’s government was responsible for human rights violations, including the 2015 Zaria Shiite massacre. In fact, both of you are very correct. |
All these extra financial burdens do not look like government trying to make lives better, but just to add burdens for the citizens while the leaders continue to live large. |
Planning. Planning. Plenty talks. No result. |
If he was in government, obviously, he can't say this. So what could have been done better? |
El-Rufai finally did his interview and as expected, bared it all. If the President wanted the NSA to clear him, he'd be clear. Let's leave story. |
When you vote for the clown, expect the circus. |
Those who ignore history tend to repeat it. |
Good work and great result Lookman. Does not matter if you're looked down upon today, keep grinding and let your head and heart be in the right place. More success. |
The good thing is that Dear Mr Maduka, no one can know for sure how Peter Obi (or anyone else) would have implemented these same policies. He favoured those policies does not mean he would have implemented it in the same way. That's why people are different. Everyone is unique in how they handle issues. |
“So, the reviews that we are doing are not to witch-hunt anybody and they are not politically-motivated, but the right things must be done. We are solving the problems created by Obaseki’s administration”.Would be good if these folks can be sharing evidence with their accusations. The other part is that enough of throwing blames around. You're now in government, what are you going to do differently? |
Bad eggs trying to make a fast buck on the backs of the desperate. There is God! UK Home Office is being lazy as they should have worked on this since Sky and Daily Mail had done exclusives on this CoS scams, but as with all government agencies, they are overworked and underpaid. Maybe they will sit up now. |
Very convenient comment by the AGF. As long as it does not fit the ruling party's gimmicks, they will throw fits and tantrums. Pathetic leadership. |
That Airtel detail is not correct. On their website, 20,000 can only get you 100GB (not 200GB). https://www.airtel.com.ng/data/data_offers/data_plans I wonder how TechCabal missed that key detail. |
I hope he's found alive, especially now that he has been reportedly shot. This seems like an inside job though or is insecurity in Abuja that terrible? |
Well written. And Pray o, make the actions of a few bad eggs spoil food for the good ones. |
No matter how bad you are, some will still celebrate you. Most Nigerians that lived through that time will connect IBB to the woes of Nigeria like June 12 debacle, MKO Abiola's incarceration and death, Dele Giwa, SAP etc, but Chief Eze sees something else. That's life. |
Serious issues dey ground dey bother Nigerians but the matter of seating privilege is what concerns a Senator, with access to millions, enough to cause her unruly behaviour in the chamber. She has not shown the right behaviour expected of her office and this won't make matters better for her constituents. |
Una well done Oga Trump. Of course, Zelensky is at fault for everything. Why? Cos Trump can't try and offend Putin. |
Not surprised with Gasperini's comments. Shows the kind of person he is to the world. But Lookman, that silence is what you should have continued. Document your story. There will be a time to share it. And if it's that important to you, there are more subtle ways to get it done - media leaks of the footage, surrogates defence etc. |
Finally, the old man of Niger Delta bites the dust. RIP Chief Edwin Clark. |
Very pathetic story. Hatred and Bitterness is not good, especially the ones driven by tribal and ethnic narratives. Just death fiam like that cos of suspicion not grounded in reality. Sad! |
This man should just go into political oblivion. His "insights" are not necessary since it didn't help Kaduna. |
Even though the transfer has already been in the works and Lookman gave a fair reply, I don't think it's necessary to be publicly replying your manager. |
Difficult to believe the words of these NNPC and their subs without hard evidence. Abeg, media try harder and get proven hard copies to verify these figures. Cos it's always changing to suit their narratives. |
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that online publications claimed the Assembly uncovered a significant cache of arms in the office of the ousted Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, on Tuesday. They are still using this strategy. Might be true and might not. This method of discrediting and implicating those against their agenda is still going strong. Una, well done o! |
It does not look like this Ambassador will last in this posting. But anyone who believes whatever Trump says without hard proof, well, joke is on them. |
