Atouke:The man does not need to resign for anything, especially that it's not even a public company. It's an indictment. They are just charges against him. But I agree that he should get US defense lawyers (and not these clowns representing him). |
Jgoldie:Following advice is based on my personal experience: 1) Start piling up "Bleep you money" - maybe 10-20% of your salary every month. 2) Office is for work. No permanent friends/foes. 3) Make sure you get better at your job. Read books. Learn the ins and outs. Make sure you can do a lot of things yourself. 4) Study people. Watch what they say but most importantly what they do. 5) Make sure you're more result-oriented than people-oriented. The reason I like this method is that it's important to let your work speak for you. 6) Avoid getting involved with office romance. It often comes back to bite you in the ass. 7) Know what matters to the company and let your work be seen. Maybe your communication skill, leadership or technical skills. Let it show by how thoughtful you are. Finally, be kind through and through. Kind o, not stupid. All the best! |
Very informative article. I've found out that User Experience, Server speed and a great mobile environment help you to keep playing safe with all of Google's updates in the past 4 years of my SEO experience. |
But You can't blame the man. This is Nigeria and we're all responsible for our own safety. |
Why does it seem FG is adamant and not ready to compromise on this IPPIS-ASUU ish? A system is only as good as the people running it. ASUU needs to make better media (educated) noise on their positions. |
This is terrible! |
Companies need to truly do better in not allowing sentiments and nepotism to dictate who they take... But again, this happens all over the world. The game is the game. How do you beat it? Build your confidence by learning a skill, network with professionals in your field (at first) and leverage everything you can. |
Hope no one will generally qualify this young man as a lazy Nigerian youth |
Freemanbobble:I liked this post and saw it was not enough and had to comment. Too much sense dey inside this comment. Hope we all continue to receive sense in this country. |
virgoquin:Maybe the size got too big and they forgot to adjust according to the cloth they have. ![]() Thing is, once it reaches that time unless you have some above-average financial intelligence skills and you have practised self-discipline, you may not be able to manage the money flow. |
namiji2598:Digital skills are the way to go. And there are many job opportunities (from graphics/media developer, social network manager to media buyer, SEO manager and more). Better still, you can work from home for a company "in the abroad." ![]() Start here with the Learn Digital Skills with Google program - gds.haptics.ng. |
Wait, does this Timi Frank guy expect the Supreme Court to annul the Presidential Tribunal? Okay, what will that achieve? Back to square one for all Nigerians? Nah! The Supreme Court judges knew better to spare the country and the international community the headache that will ensue after that. After 4 years, APC would have served their term. Then, we can know where else we are headed as a country. |
DeniseKendricks:You will most likely need an expert's physical support or via Video. But what happens often is that you most likely did not set the priority right. So, please check your priority setup in your server configuration. |
crowniran:Please do not withdraw with your Payoneer card in Nigeria. I've not tried in another country just yet but in Nigeria, it just does not work. And this is the bad part - you will still be charged like N50 or so for using the card. Your best bet is to open a dollar domiciliary account (preferably with GTB) and add your bank account to your Payoneer account. Withdraw to your Payoneer account going forward and change the dollar to naira with your favorite aboki. |
Really good thread. I'd just like to drop this here that some trusted people turn out to be not as expected. This might be due to current financial struggles or family problems that involved money. You can't be careful to do due diligence before any transaction. |
MetaPhysical:Nah! What about Iraq, CAR, Congo? Those ones do not have terrorism abi? |
I recently stumbled upon this information by the Nigerian Immigration service - https://immigration.gov.ng/visa-fees/ and I saw that Nigeria does not charge a fee for her visa. For crying out loud, Nigeria is the most populous black nation on earth with more than 190 million people and counting. More and more people want to visit Nigeria to do business or even see some of our "tourist" centres. Why can't we make money from this opportunity? Look at CAR and Congo, they charge as much as $67 and $111 respectively for their single entry visas. Now, instead of Nigerian leaders to think of increasing revenue through this means, they prefer to continue to put the burden on hard-working Nigerians via tax increment. I'll guess that more people naturally want to visit Nigeria than those countries. And yet we pride ourselves as the giant of Africa. And our visa is $0. What a pity! There is a chance I might be wrong with my information. Please share (with proof) if you have more. |
A French tourist has admitted impregnating more than 600 women in six African countries within two years. Forty-year-old Jean Michel made the revelation on an online news site “Africa24”. The six countries, according to the randy, sampling tourist, included Nigeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana and Guinea. Why it matters: Many Africans see all westerners as very wealthy people who can change their lives. They easily give in to all their requests and desires and are taken advantage of. His confession has been translated from French to English by Simon Ateba in Washington, District of Columbia: “Good morning Africa 24, I have a confession to make about the havoc I have wreaked in six African countries, including Cameroon, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria, Ghana and Guinea. I am not proud of what I have done. These were unfortunate experiences. “In France where I hail from, I did not have money. I was very poor until one day I played and won lottery. I won 550 thousand euros. It was the largest sum of money I had received in life. “I did not know what to do, and a friend suggested we travel to Africa. We obtained all the documents, entry visa, and the rest, and our first stop was Ivory Coast. “In Abidjan (the capital of Ivory Coast), we rented a furnished apartment. We had money to spend and met Ivorian people and we became friends. They introduced young Ivorian girls to us, and that’s when it all started. “I began having sex with girls every day. Sometimes, I would sleep with three girls at the same time. It was a marvelous experience. Read the full story about the French Tourist sleeping with 1,400 African girls on Independent Newspapers. |
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday described as fake news the statement by Chief Olabode George, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that he was part of those responsible for his incarceration in 2009. George in an exclusive interview with Daily Independent had claimed that Osinbajo as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice connived with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos to draft the unknown law that was used against him. He also claimed that he met Osinbajo during a flight and asked him to seek forgiveness from God. However in a statement by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Osinbajo said he has no hand in George’s travails as he had left office a year before his trial started. He also said he has never had any conversation with Bode George on the matter before and after he became Vice-President. Read the full story on Osinbajo and Bode George on Independent Newspapers. |
The meeting convened by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige to find amicable solutions to the issues of consequential adjustments arising from the new national minimum wage ended in an inconclusive note on Tuesday. However all the stakeholders involved in the negotiation are expected to reconvene today, Wednesday, to possibly iron out other grey areas that may culminate in averting a proposed strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress which was supposed to start on October 16th. However the meeting which basically dwelt on the consequential adjustment regarding the N30,000 national minimum wage made some headway as both parties shifted ground on their earlier positions. At end of the of the meeting which lasted for over 5 hours, government stepped up from 11 percent for grade levels 07 to 14 and 6.5 percent for grade levels 15 to 17 to a new offer of 17 percent for grade levels 07 to 09, 15 percent for workers on grade levels 10 to 14 and 12 percent for grade levels 15 to 17. Why do people have a problem with Network Marketing? I've noticed much recently that a lot of career people have issues with network marketing businesses. They have an issue with the concept of network marketing and the attending But this is the real problem that I see: people are reluctant to spend the effort to research due to what they have heard or seen about network marketing AND/OR they hate selling. Several network marketing businesses have gone burst. Some were new. Some were old. Some have succeeded over the years and remained true to paying their distributors and providing massive value to their customers. Some good ones have been in existent for years while others are new and still ticking the check boxes effectively. I have a few questions: How much did you research the company you're working with? If your company is not selling anything, how will your company make money? If your company suddenly decides to tie your salary to the amount of sales you make, what will be your reaction? |
Bitcoin is not MLM. Bitcoin is not MMM. Bitcoin is not Ponzi. Bitcoin is a digital currency that is generated when a computer miner completes some sets of complex equations with a secure channel on an online public ledger called Blockchain. Bitcoin can be exchanged directly for fiat currencies like US dollar, Euro, Naira etc. Bitcoin can be likened to Gold and used as an asset; where you buy and hold, hoping to sell at an higher price. Bitcoin can be used to pay for goods and services online; it is secure, cheaper with very low transaction fees and faster. You do not need to HAVE any money to start. At least, you need to know first. There are 3 main parts to get started: Part 1: Bitcoin wallet. Part 2: Buying Bitcoin (in Nigeria from the comfort of your home). Part 3: Get returns on your Bitcoin using an online trading system. It's when you get to the 3rd part that you will ever need money. Information is power. Get informed. Get empowered! |
Would you respect your General Overseer more if he responds on social media to Daddy Freeze's comments? What will you advise him to do if you're in a position to advise your GO? |

The tithing issue shone a bright light unto the much disputed topic of Pastors' lifestyles (GOs, Prophets, Apostles etc). Some queried that Pastors are not supposed to attract undue attention to themselves by 'appearing' TOO wealthy while their members are poor. Others argued Pastors are worthy of all that they own and use. Fuel was added to the issue when Pope Francis decided to auction a Lamborghini gift and distribute the proceeds to a few charity organizations. How much is too much to be described as fabulous for the lifestyle of a Pastor/Man of God? (Examples are welcome) |
Adesiji77:Thanks for the edit. I already placed the link in a comment as I can not seem to edit the original post. |
Strongbest:This is the kind of mentality that gets a lot of people LAZY (I really disagree with this mentality. If you truly hustle your way to the billions, you keep hustling, not just sleeping. YOU KEEP HUSTLING!) |
