I'm sure other people may have thought it was adedward like I thought, good thing adedward commented about it to show he was not the person in question.
Such half information could affect an innocent person's business for one, it would prevent the person in question to come out to state his side of the story also.
Once you shield a contractor with a questionable character, you are a major part of the problem. That is why some may be able to defraud several other unsuspecting clients that should have been alerted.
Putting out needed information would help make due diligence.
If clients also call out and state their experience and give review, it would serve as a feedback mechanism that would make any contractor think twice before taking any action.
From experience, I know it's not always automatically the contractor's fault, there are different types of people with different characters but we quickly think because he is the client, he is a saint that must have been wronged. This is whatsoever not related to @rawgold300 because his allegations are clear but to draw attention to having an open mind and giving fair hearing.
If these types of things aren't handled properly, it would affect other genuine business people as it is already alleged that most people here are fraudulent.
I have never defrauded any client here, in fact I have never met over 90% of my clients
There are several others whom I have worked with for years that I know are honest and straightforward.

I remembered when I brought the case of Brickdevo on here you were the first to say is going through a lot but what you forgot is the fact that he defrauded me in a way. I brought the Segcymoor who has got me into trouble of over 4m naira what did you say to that absolutely nothing right , The case of the Aluminium fabricator you saying this craps . I fell prey to more than three criminals on here and that does not tell you nothing . Am the type of guy who does not just want to bring people down for the sake of bringing them down . This is me giving the bastard time to do the right thing then we see what happens after the few days grace I gave to him. Please think before pouring all these your comments on here. You guys are trying to make it difficult for people that have been duped to bring their case on here . Just remember we talking about millions of naira here.

Please don't generalize, there a lot of good people here that handle projects of over 100 million without any issue. Many of them are so busy they don't even have time to update their profile regularly. Always do your due diligence before commiting your hard earn money to just anybody

You are right on that one. I wrote sometime back commented on the nobility of spyder330, Dennis3d and few others .you know you can’t talk to me of good people on this site because am the one dealing with three notable criminals on here .. Three different artisan ruining the jobs given to them. haaa, if it's casement u can easily remove the panel and chack the quages, it's very obvious, 4mm is less thicker than 5mm glass, I always advised clients on 5mm, it's more thicker than 4mm, thanks

This happened because I wasn’t available to ascertained the gauge myself. I actually paid for 5mm my brother but he chooses to use 4mm so as to maximise enough gains ni oo…. This is someone I trusted with my money for months … My advice for people on here is to not trust anyone on here ..

@Rawgold300 this is serious o. Get workers from jiji instead so you can leave them your honest feedbacks and they won’t be able to open a brand new profile incase they want to run from your feedback. Majority of these popular guys in property section here are just overrated. Use them at your own risk. Nonetheless, there are still a very few you can trust and I mean like 3 out of 100. If you’re in diaspora, get one person that can run errands for you, let them give you quotes per stages, then do your research to find out if quotes are not outrageous. Dont pay your money into any workers account except for their labour. When buying materials, send your errand guy to the shop and pay directly into the sellers account. Do a video call to speak to the seller to confirm prices, bargain and see the shop. If you are trying to do big man with these workers, they will overuse you and almost ruin you. You have to come down to their level completely and be very strict with your money before giving it to anyone. Your errand guy must send you pictures and videos of the right amount of materials you paid for. Don’t pay for any materials you don’t see. Don’t give your money to any one to go and buy materials for you.

Building a house from scratch is a big headache. If time is not taken, you end up having too many enemies for something that is supposed to be of joy.
Anyway, it might be too late now for this my contribution. However, for those just starting, let your contract end on the carcass stage without roofing. This contractors cannot be jack of all trade.
From there, get individual contractors to handle other milestones.
When you give these small builders everything to do, that is where the problem begins. One that does not know the little details and cost of a particular aspect would have their hands soiled due to greed or in most cases, ignorance. Nigeria situation does not even help matters.
It breaks my heart when these contractions work so hard at the beginning but ends up like the rest.
At the end of the day, it is the client’s money that is affected.
I will conclude with an advice someone gave me. He said, building a house is a journey, you will meet all sorts along the way.

The truth of the matter is that i shared part of the blame for wholeheartedly trusting this guy . I shouldn’t have done things the way i went about it , anyway lesson learnt. Am just here to inform others to be careful dealing with majority of these criminals on here that parade themselves as contractors. I’ve seriously had dealing with handful of them. You raised good point there about him doing all the job to the extent it is now , but what you failed to realised is the systemic way he went about defrauding people. This guy went about not doing some work in the building . When i started the plastering is when i realised the enormity of work that needed to be done. I’ve hired different professional from here and all of them were saying the same thing about the works he neglected. Look at the 3D drawing very closely and see some of the work he somehow left untouched after collecting money for them. Look at the terraces, look at the windows and the front entance. I also specifically asked him to used 9 inches blocks for all the external walls but he somehow used 6 for the first floor. So, is not just about the roof alone is about everything he did.
