A Professor in one of the Universities in South East also suffered the same fate last two years or so. In his own case, he went to off his diesel Gen set and unfortunately his phone rang and he was burnt to death.

Was at MOCPED till 12:39pm yesterday thank God i was able to submit my Clearance for result to the dean before he passed on, if not I'm sure there would be delays (based on politics) and I'm sure he was not dead by then or no one knew yet.
Now i remember those days when he would walk around the school carrying​ his PUMP ACTION RIFLE and shooting into the Air for no reason.
I remember how people would flock around him, how they called him JAGABAN hailing him like he was the Runner of the worlds.
Left MOCPED at around 2014. New building have been erected staffs have been changed, but one thing I now is that the college system is still f*cked up.
You can't do your course forms online (e-portal is useless) you still have carry papers up and down to sign, you have to wait for weeks before your payments reflect in the bursary, lectures are undermined, Mocped has little or no health package for Staffs, MOCPED water is Gone, SUG is useless, funds unaccounted for.
At the end people who enjoyed the benefits enjoyed it.

Fake news. Why is this coming out now? Was d senate instrumental to the clearance of the container load of arms & ammunition the Customs arrested last month? Is d Senate responsible to d loads and loads of containers of rice dat enter into Nigeria thru d land borders? Take a visit to any of our border crossings esp Seme or Idiroko and see what is happening there. You ll weep for our dear nation. Is the Senate responsible for that one too?
The bottom line is that the system as presently constituted is failing. The Govt needs to be on their toes and rejig these Govt agencies whether it's Customs, NAFDAC, SON etc.
They should be made to be answerable to the people.

It is only in Nigeria dat this kind of rubbish can happen. This issue has nothing at all to do with ur friend's father unless u re not giving us the full jist of the story. When the guy brought his friends to inspect the tractor, did those people tell ur friends father that they are making payment or have even paid for the tractor? Even d people that made payment without proper verifications are also suspect? How can u make payment for an agricultural equipment that you did not thoroughly and physically investigate very well as to whether it is even moving at all.
I also assume dat they have other workers in the company. Why didn't the people that paid for the tractor go inside the company to also make inquiries. The whole scenario is very fishy. Your friends father has no case at all unless there is more to the story you are telling us.

The couples went home for Christmas.. they had been sending monies home...for the husbands brother to build them houses. While at home this Christmas...this brother cooked food and sent over to his brother and wife. They died after eating d food.

Imagine this couple that went to Nigeria for holiday before Xmas and never returned back to US after so long away from home.

Hi Guys. I ve been using Android phones from time immemorial and have never used IOS phones.
Now, I want to go for a tablet. I m thinking of either Samsung Tab s2 or IPad Air 2.
