samally:did yhu just include the ML as an off roader? Sorry to burst yhur bubble, but the ML is a tall car with large tires and high ground clearance. It's an SUE by categorization, not by character. |

His interior decorator, if he did have one, needs to be flogged. This is the gaudiest attempt at creating class. Too many themes going on, very busy furnishings and decor. Money is good anyways. 1 Like |

Car Talk / Re: 2006 BMW 325i Vs 2005 Mercedes Benz C240. by Raymie(m): 2:40pm On Oct 25, 2015 |
I'd say go for the Benz. Even tho I personally prefer the Beemer, I have a colleague and a friend who both used that 3 series. 325 to be precise. Their stories were not joyful considering both are diehard BMW enthusiasts and upgraded from previous model 325. In fact, their experience drove me from a 5" of similar year. |
Religion / Re: Does The Bible Support Abortion? Numbers Chapter 5 by Raymie(m): 2:15pm On Oct 25, 2015 |
I personally do not see where the verse permits abortion or not. What I read is a miscarriage, the result of a curse. However, it is important to understand that the Jews at the time were a stone hearted and rebellious people who had to be tamed so the LORD could achieve his purpose through them. The Law of Moses was given to the Israelites when they were still a band of ex-slaves struggling to survive Hence, the plethora of rules and regulations to guide their every way of life. Like life in those times, many were harsh and cruel compared to the teachings of Jesus By the time of Jesus, the great moral principles God had given to Moses in the Ten Commandments had been turned into hundreds of ceremonial rules. People thought they were living holy lives if they just obeyed all those rules. But Jesus disagreed. He said people found enough "loopholes" to obey all the rules and still live wicked and greedy lives With the coming of Christ, God has established a new covenant with mankind (Jeremiah 31:31-34, Luke 22:20, 1 Corinthians 11:25, Hebrews 8:8-13, 9:11-15). Jesus and His apostles gave us a radically new understanding of the true intent of the Old Testament Law; they brought a new era of the rule of love for all people and spiritual truth instead of rule by law (Luke 10:25-28, John 13:34-35, Ephesians 2:14-18). The teachings of Jesus, make it clear that Christians are not required to follow the Old Testament rules. Yes Christians still look to the Old Testament scripture for moral and spiritual guidance (2 Timothy 3:16-17). But when there seems to be a conflict between Old Testament laws and New Testament principles, we must follow the New Testament because it represents the most recent and most perfect revelation from God (Hebrews 8:13, 2 Corinthians 3:1-18, Galatians 2:15-20). However, freedom from the Old Testament Law is not a license for Christians to relax their moral standards. The moral and ethical teachings of Jesus and His apostles call for even greater self-discipline than those of the Old Testament. http://www.christianbiblereference.org/faq_OldTestamentLaw.htm 1 Like |

Look at the positioning of the gear lever/handbrake. However, some cars irrespective of driving position have them permanently positioned. 1 Like |
Education / Re: Mini-Bus Built By Engineering Students In Unizik....see Photos by Raymie(m): 5:19pm On Oct 24, 2015 |
There's still more to be done in this regard. If I was the school management, I will task them with producing minibuses for the school's transport system. That way, they'd be more innovative in mecho-electrics, design and fabrication. By the time management mandates every set of engineering students to produce 2 minibuses, competition will breed innovation and effectiveness not only among Engineering students, but lecturers within and outside the confines of Engineering. |

Never try to interfere in many a dog's eating or mating, as they may misconstrue yhur kindly intentions. Let him be. He'd come around. We had a dog brought in who only mated in the early hours of the morning, when we'd be asleep by then. In the daytime, they'd be watching themselves like super story. 2 Likes |

Reading many comments here shows how shallow, puerile and hard hearted the average Nigerian is. Making mockery of someone's misery? I have no words. Anyways OP, yhur dog shows symptoms of Melena, which is not a disease per sé but a symptom of a range of disease and causative like diet, gastrointestinal ulcers, toxicity and even kidney failure. Treatment should start from the underlying disease and the Melena would go away. In the absence of any vet at the moment, I'd recommend using red oil to keep him/her alive till when the vets can come in. (dunno of the charcoal solution though). Also try keeping the dog lubricated as s/he tends to lose electrolytes as s/he vomits/stools. Yhu may need to personally feed since s/he won't have the strength to lap liquids. Sincerely wish yhu the best. Hope yhur dog makes it alive. Cc Oooops 5 Likes 2 Shares |
