Then, you are living in a "fool's paradise". Was it not on this forum that it was posted that none of the girls were defiled, and that the girl with a baby was pregnant before her abduction? Your fulishness is hereditary!
I don't blame you that you find it very difficult to cope with human beings. I only blame the womb that conceived you. If she had hearken to the voice of reason, she would have donated you to a pigsty for the impoverished pigs to feast on. At least she would have saved humanity from being infested with your foolishness and hateful heart. Omo irankiran.

But we were told all the girls were still virgins. So, I need an explanation from Lie Mohammed!
Nobody told you that. You formulated that in your head. If you care enough, you would have read where the girls said that those who accepted to be married among them were married off. In particular, the Muslims and those who were forced to accept Islam among them were married off.
PoliticsRe: Oil Prices In January Of Years 2009 To 2017 by razid: 12:34pm On Jan 04, 2017
No wonder Buhari is always asking about the elusive savings. Imagine between 2010 and 2014, oil price was at its highest and yet nothing to show for it. Instead, the external reserves were depleted and internal and external debts were even snowballing.

One thing we need to appreciate is that Buhari is an old man with experience. Were he to be a young man and a greenhorn, some people would by now been sipping coffee in their respective graves. How can you see figures like this and not run mad? Impossicant!

Now the question is as a president can I stomach a thing like this? N-E-V-E-R!
PoliticsRe: Army Set To Establish Brigade At Sambisa Forest- Punch by razid: 12:30pm On Jan 01, 2017
HungerBAD:
The Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen. Tukur Buratai, may have concluded plans to establish a Special Task Force Battalion to be located in the dreaded Sambisa Forest.

It was learnt on Sunday that the establishment of the new brigade was meant to take the battle to the insurgents in their stronghold and operational domain.

It was gathered also that the plan to establish the force brigade was part of efforts to re-organise the Army.

Sunday PUNCH had exclusively reported that the Army had dissolved its court-martial.

According to the report, cases of some soldiers will also be revisited.

The Army spokesman, Col Sani Umar, had on Saturday said that the force was reviewing all recent disciplinary cases due to the wave of litigation by some aggrieved personnel.

It was learnt that the plan to establish a brigade at Sambisa forest was to flush insurgents out of the forest.

The latest move is believed to be part of the comprehensive plans to get the insurgents out of their Sambisa base and prevent them from having territories which they could use to carry out attacks in the Lake Chad Basin area.

A security source, who confided in one of our correspondents, said that the planned brigade to be named the 29th Special Task Force Brigade under 7th Division would be saddled with the responsibility of pursuing the insurgents in the vast area.

It was stated that the Army Chief decided to create the additional brigade to confront the insurgents in Sambisa because of the belief that some terrorists still maintain hideouts in the forest from which they carry out attack on civilian settlements.

The source said, “The new Chief is planning a new brigade in the mission area. The brigade is to be called 29th Special operations Brigade under the 7th division of the Nigerian Army.

“You know that the Sambisa Forest is very vast and they are still staging their attacks from the forest. What the Chief wants to do is to establish the brigade in the forest and take the fight to them.

“The brigade will be there permanently to go after the insurgents, destroy their stronghold and restore sanity in the area. The troops are very excited about the idea.”

The insurgents have launched four attacks on Buratai, the home town of the COAS in Borno State since the first attack in February 2014.

The last attack which was repelled took place last Monday.

A security analyst, Ben Okezie, frowned on the planned establishment of a brigade inside Sambisa Forest, saying he did not understand the rationale behind the decision.

He noted that the move was unnecessary since the army has a division in Borno State where the forest is located.

Okezie stated that what the army needed were better strategies to tackle the insurgents, noting that the military could re-engage retired major generals to assist with the battle against terrorists.

He also dismissed the relocation of the Command and Control Centre to Maiduguri, saying it might not achieve any result.

Meanwhile, the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Dele Alonge, has said that the fighter pilots of the NAF and the ground forces repelled an attack on Bita town by the insurgents on Sunday.

Alonge said that the Air Force deployed its Alpha Jets to aid the ground troops to prevent the Boko Haram’s incursion into Bita.

Sometimes dreams still do come true. This was August 04 2015. The same Sambisa would now become their training ground.
For you reading this, never underestimate the power of dreams. Think of where you'll be in the next five years and work towards it. God willing, just like the Nigerian Army are happy today over, you'll also look back and smile going by the good thing you've been able to achieve for yourself.
So dream on mon amie.

Lest we forget, a high ranking Senator visited the acting EFCC Chairman last week and promised to screen him the following day.

In the next day, it was reported that the so-called screening could not take place because of poor attendance at the plenary and was postponed till December 15th.

My mind tells me that the said Senator was sent to Magu with their T&C for the confirmation. But unfortunately, the guy was not forthcoming. That was why the song was changed the second day when the said Senators gave his colleagues the feedback.

Since the guy has decided not to play ball, they decided to just find anything incriminating as excuse for rejecting his nomination. They had to go as far as 2008 believing that all of us would have forgotten what happened then.

Seriously, are you really expecting the Senate to say that they don't want to confirm him because they don't like his face or tactic? They must surely come up with something hence, the damning "security" report has to be concocted.

We have been through this path before. We know how it works with our highly crooked Sinators. Only a fool will believe the crap they put forth as evidence.

Just musing!

A former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Ima Niboro, has joined the All Progressives Congress.

Niboro was ushered into the APC on Monday at his residence in Udu Local Government Area of Delta.

He told NAN that, “My membership of the APC is true.’’

Niboro, a former Senior Special Assistant on Media to Former President Goodluck Jonathan, said his joining the APC was meant to align Delta with the government at the national level and to galvanise development.

He said, “It is not a sudden switch. I have had 18 months to study the situation as it concerned my ward, local government, community and even my state.

“I have to conclude that there is time for everything. This is the time for us in Delta to link up with the Federal Government in order to bring development to our land.

“We cannot at this critical point of our history be left out of Federal Government’s development agenda.

“There is no synergy between Delta and the Federal Government and we cannot achieve that synergy when we are working at cross-purposes. (Sorry, are you just coming to this conclusion?)

“We must work together to achieve that synergy,’’ NAN quotes him as saying.

Niboro, a former Peoples Democratic Party member, decried the level of infrastructure decay in Delta.(Kai! Upon spending 16 years at the centre under PDP? Na wa o)

He was formally received by APC stalwarts in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta, where he hailed from.

PoliticsRe: Ondo Election: Tinubu Hails Akeredolu’s Victory, Oyegun, Buhari by razid: 10:32pm On Nov 27, 2016
Some comments here are actually comical. Tinubu and his goons sold all of you the dummy and you all bought it.

To decode the whole issue, any resident of Ondo state would understand that Mimiko won the hearts of Ondo state in 2012 by turning the people against Tinubu and Awolowo.

In order not to repeat the same mistakes twice, they need to give you the impression that there is a serious crack just to divert attention away from Tinubu. You can see that no one was focusing on Tinubu in their campaigns unlike the 2012 election.

Now that the election has been won, everything will reset back to default.

The whole intention if you get the drift is to get rid of Mimiko from South West Politics anyhow by any means possible. You may read any paper of March/May 7th 2012 for details.

I can't be deceived by any politician lailai. grin Mo ti ja ju.

I made as much as 400k last month on my own and already blew 250k of that money on house project.

WTF are u talking about? The problem is large scale ignorance and people do not realise yet that they can actually earn MORE than that, even 4X that amount.

My guy this early momo, why now? If they have been business minded like you, would they be jostling for a job of N30k in the first place? Haba!
Before the application for the job, they were told that the pay is mere N30k. If you know you are too big to earn that low, you won't even bother to apply at all. My grouse is that if you don't need it, there are millions of people who are dying to have it.

Let people stop grandstanding and appreciate their government for this small gesture.

It is you that's pathetic man. N30K now is like N18k before recession going by its buying power. You think one can rent an apartment, further your studies, support a relative with that kind of money ? They do CBN job 'coded' and shout about N30k job.
Let's do it like this, FG wage bill before they busted ghost workers was some N20bn higher than it is now. If they pay those guys N100,000 each, 200,000 will pay their salary. Why pay them N30k then? That N30k is like N18k before the recession.
The way you reason is something else. In your workplace, do all of you earn the same salaries? Do you have dispatch riders, security guards, cleaners, messengers, gate-keepers at all? Why don't your management offer them "good offers" all this while? Can you tell me categorically that all of you who are working in the office are better than them? Answer these questions in all sincerity and tell me if you couldn't see the hole in your argument.

Secondly, how many of those who are earning the so-called N18k minimum wage have resigned their jobs? Are you aware that more than 1million people actually applied for this job despite knowing that the salary is mere N30k according to you.

The problem is that most of you will be talking as if you've not been living in Nigeria or you were living in paradise before the advent of this administration.

Osun workers have been paid December salaries. Ondo teachers have not received salaries since November last year. So what is the big deal about Osun. Should Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa with all the allocations they're collecting from FAAC owe in the first instance? That is what we're saying, it's not a party affair. People are suffering and smiling whether PDP or APC. I only pity the numbskull who always view their sufferings from the political angles. Interesting! Christianity is not being abused here as religion of paedophiles, no mention was made to Jesus who always inspires the pastor in other things, the bible is not being vilified, and finally God is not being accused here for the "crime" of the pastor. Some are even given him excuses by waiting for the pastor's story. Wow! So much for our objectivity, tolerance and sincerity. Though the price of sweet crude, the blend of oil export from Nigeria, rose marginally at the close of trading on Wednesday to $76.96 per barrel, it has already crashed below the $79 per barrel benchmark approved in the 2014 Appropriation Act, concerns are mounting that tough times are indeed ahead.
Interesting at the underlined. $79 per barrel was the benchmark that was passed into law, but price of crude fell to $76 just like we are having a situation whereby $38 per barrel was proposed (not even passed into law) but the crude oil price is hovering around $30 per barrel. So much for the World Best Economists who are making so much noise about a benchmark that has not even be passed into law as if we have never had a situation whereby the executive will propose a benchmark and the legislators will change it to another.

PoliticsBuhari Social Protection Programmes by razid(op): 11:41am On Jan 21, 2016
VP Osinbajo explains the 6 Social Protection Programs of the Buhari Administration

As the National Assembly begins debating the 2016 Budget submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari, there are specific provisions in the proposals that will confront poverty in the country in a bold and direct way according to the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

“We are dealing with the issues of poverty with the 2016 Budget that is currently being debated,” the Vice President said during a courtesy visit by a delegation of Reckitt Benckiser West Africa, a household care products’ company led by its West Africa Managing Director, Mr. Rahul Murgai and the Chairman in Nigeria, Chief Olu Falomo.

All together there are 6 social protection programmes of the Buhari administration for which funds have been allocated in the 2016 budget. These are:
1. Teach Nigeria, where 500,000 graduates would be hired as teachers,
2. Youth Employment and Empowerment-where between 300,000-500,000 youths would go through skills acquisition and vocational training,
3. the Conditional Cash Transfer, where one million extremely poor Nigerians will receive N5000 monthly this year,
4. Homegrown School Feeding where one meal a day would be served to public primary school children across the country,
5. Free Education for tertiary education 100,000 students of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and
6. the Micro-Credit Scheme that will give N60,000 one time soft loans to market women, and artisans.

The company had earlier discussed with the VP its ‘Save the Children’ Initiative, a Corporate Social Responsibility programme designed to curb the deaths of Nigerian children caused by Diarrhea.

While welcoming the initiative, Prof. Osinbajo explained that a lot has to be done in the country to confront poverty and its impacts on Nigerians.

He said for the first time in the nation’s history about half a trillion Naira is being provided for the six social investment programmes.

The Vice President commended the company for its intervention saying “this is the sort of thing we expect from those who have the resources.”
