Sharrap Mr. Moderator! ![]() |
RuuDie:Don't make assumptions like that. You are very wrong. Just wait and see what would happen next season. |
RuuDie:Please help me ask them o! ![]() |
Ruudie, like I've said before, Chelsea has over 5 friendlies lined up for July! We would use them to experiment. Just leave Jose to his job. |
Have you read his Biography? Ben haim can play right back! |
Ruudie, relax, all these players would be given plenty of opportunities to play! See what happened to Mikel. He was given his opportunity and he used it well and now, he has replaced Makalele as prefered choice! ![]() When these players (Sidwell, Pizarro or Haim) are given opportunities to play, they should use it well and not flop! By the way, Ben Haim wouldn't be a bad choice for right back. Leave it to Jose to bring the best out of him. Between Haim, Diarra and Ferreira, we shouldn't have a right back problem. Don't forget that we have over five friendlies lined up in July. We would use those friendlies to experiment! ![]() |
Ow come on Ruudie. . . Don't forget that Chelsea would be playing in four competitions, so we would need as many players as possible. Players get tired from playing too many matches, so considering that fact we should have as many reserve players as possible. See what happened at the end of last season! All the players we're buying would be very useful to the team and would be given opportunities to play. If they don't play in the PREM, they'll play in the FA Cup or in the Champions League, or in the Carling Cup. ![]() That's the advantage of playing in a big club like Chelsea. That's why players want to come to Chelsea! ![]() |
Jackal:Come on baby. . . It shouldn't come to this now. . . Why do you hate me so much? Let's be best of pals. . . please. . . ![]() |
What a brilliant actor Henry is! He'll win an Oscar soon! ![]() |
ARSENE WENGER snubbed four offers from Barcelona for Thierry Henry before selling his star striker. The Spaniards insist it was only Henry’s determination to leave Arsenal which forced Wenger to change his mind. Barca financial director Ferran Soriano has lifted the lid on the extraordinary series of events which saw Henry move to the Nou Camp. Soriano insists it was Henry who made the first contact and Wenger was bitterly opposed to the £16million deal. And Soriano has published his diary to show Henry did all the running. The hitman, 29, was increasingly frustrated by the Gunners’ failure to challenge Manchester United and Chelsea for the Premier League title. And he could see no end to the decline after Wenger said he was looking for only one or two new players this summer. But the final straw for the French striker came when vice-chairman David Dein left after a bitter boardroom war. Within two weeks of Dein’s departure, Henry knew it was also time for him to quit — and that he made a huge mistake rejecting a move to Barca last summer and committing the rest of his career to Arsenal. Here Soriano shows how the deal unfolded: EARLY MAY: Henry sends a message that he is interested in coming. Wenger will not sell but we arrange to meet at Champions League final. MAY 24: At a meeting between Wenger and Barca director Txiki Begiristain, Wenger insists Henry is unsure if he wants to stay but Arsenal will not sell. But in the next weeks Henry tells Wenger his wish is to join us. JUNE 18: A three-hour meeting at Wenger’s house ends in failure. We offer £12m, they want £24m. JUNE 21: New offer is rejected. At 11pm there is a proposition which Arsenal find acceptable. At 1am our lawyer sends a concrete offer. JUNE 22: Deal agreed by 1pm but contract is not complete. We are allowed to meet Henry. I realise how much he wants to sign for us. He was excited like a little boy, not like a big star. JUNE 23-25: Lawyers sort out all contracts. On June 25 Henry is a Barca player. Many times I thought the deal was done and many times I thought we would never sign him. In the end, we did it. |
You guys should cool it and stop salivating already. ![]() Chelsea has not stopped buying players! ![]() Forget all the free transfers talk! Do you know, by the way, that we have just placed a 12 m pound bid for Malouda? ![]() Roman has not closed his wallet yet, so we would be ready for the Nation's cup! ![]() |
Loyika mind ya bizness! I wasn't talking to you! Is your name Rikkyjen? ![]() |
Guys, it looks like Drogba and Malouda would be celebrating today, as Chelsea has finally made a 12 Million Pound bid for Malouda. ![]() http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1773_2453011,00.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=464721&in_page_id=1779&ito=newsnow http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_2452995,00.html |
rikkyjen:Sharrap Ricky, you guys are just jealous that we did not pay a dime for those guys and you had to pay so much for untested players. ![]() Get over it! ![]() |
justkunmi:I'm really sorry for you guys! Have you thought of buying defenders? ![]() Your defence was wack at the end of last season and you're doing nothing about it. At least Chelsea has taken precaution measures for the woes of injury with her recent signings! ![]() Yea. . . let's wait for the league to start! ![]() BTW, have you seen your vituperative brother's post? And you guys are begging me to let him be. ![]() |
Ricky, who are Nani and anderson? Please don't make me laugh! ![]() Their arrival would mean less appearances for Ronaldo which works fine for me. Or is SAF going to change his formation? ![]() Ronaldo was the one who set your team on fire last season, giving you the PREM, so the less I see of him, the better! ![]() @Jackal Damn, this your love for me na die o! |
A player like Torres should be gotten for 18 Million pounds and nothing more. See what damage the press has done with their habit of overhyping players! |
@JK I've been asking myself why Yankeepool wants to pay 27 m for him. But you know what? I'ld be happy if they do, as it would be a waste and reduce their spending kitty. ![]() At least they're not buying Eto'o. Less problems for me to worry about. ![]() At the moment, there's been no purchase by any EPL team that has scared me! Praise God! ![]() |
@Kitaun If she wasn't so feral, she will be treated like a lady.Mukina,Nnnenneigbo,J-Girl,Imani,e.t.c don't get this kind of treatment. She behaves like a tout.I agree,we should cut her some slack.
I-man, you can spit all the bullshit you want, but trust me, you would not get the attention you are seeking from me, you nitwit! I have no business with you. By the way, if I'm a tout, then what does that make you? Imagine comparing Tinubu to Alao Akala or Adedibu! |
justkunmi:Oh no! Please uncle kunmi, tell Jackal that I'm not interested. Tell him to stop stalking me! It's embarassing! |
@Jackal It has come to my attention that you've been lusting after me. I noticed that as soon as you got your ass out of jail, you haven't let me rest. I understand the condition of prisons(I've seen it in movies). I know that you were deprived of sex during your stint in jail and that's why you are now gay. I am really sorry that those guys in jail beat you up and forced their penis into your anus. I can now understand why you are so desperate for a f*uck! You want to wash the stain and memory of homosexuality away. Listen sweety, instead of chasing me all over nairaland, why don't you look for 10 dollars and find yourself a prostitute! I understand that you're broke, since you're just out of jail, so I'm willing to borrow you the money. Unfortunately I'm married so I can't do the job myself. I'm sure you can find a sexy LovePeddler to do it, and afterwards, you would feel much better and (hopefully) you'ld leave me in peace! |
Jackal, should we continue from where we stopped? ![]() By the way Jackal, have you noticed how I-man likes to behave like Lucifer (satan). He pushes you towards making silly comments and abandons you to the backlash! ![]() Why do you have to be the fall guy? ![]() Listen Jackal, stop taking sides with I-man, it makes you look silly. Everyone (even fellow Mancs) knows what an asshole he is. ![]() |
This Ashawo(Razorr) come dey post Liverpool news
Just when I thought you had grown up. . . |
LIVERPOOL’S record bid for Fernando Torres is being held up by the Atletico Madrid striker’s £2.5m pay-off clause. Anfield chief Rafa Benitez has agreed to pay £25m for the 23-year-old Spanish international. But Torres is entitled to 10 per cent of any fee and Atletico insist Liverpool should pay it. The Premiership outfit are adamant the cash should come out of the transfer pot and want it knocked off the price. But Atletico president Enrique Cerezo wants Torres’ full valuation to be met. He said: “Every player has a price and if they pay the transfer clause there is nothing we can do to stop Torres leaving. “But at the moment what is certain is that there is nothing going on with Torres and any other club.” Benitez’ own agent Garcia Quilon is trying to broker a deal and Liverpool are confident they will get their man. Torres, who has hit 82 goals in 212 games, is keen to move to England and is ready to tell Atletico he wants out in a bid to break the deadlock. Liverpool would like to make it a players-plus-cash deal. They are ready to include Djibril Cisse and Luis Garcia in a bid to keep their financial outlay as low as possible. Cisse, 25, who has been on loan at Marseille and is still interesting the French club, has a holiday home in Spain. Garcia, 29, missed much of last season with a knee injury but was a huge hit in a spell at Atletico five years ago. |
Oh No! Jeje love, did I hit a raw nerve? I'm so sorry o. But your being touchy has proven that there's something to my suspicions. ![]() |
@Jeje Sweety, get used to this fact - Fernando Torres would be playing for Yankeepool next season. ![]() By the way, how is your lover (Kitaun)? ![]() |
Jackal:You need to always be current with news boy! Go to BBC's website and see what they're saying. Liverpool is about to pay about 27.5 Million for Torres! ![]() |
Who the hell is Babel? ![]() |
@ Loyika I tire o. Every paper is saying that Torres is on the verge of signing for pool so I don't know why the mancs are still dreaming. ![]() |
Loyika, am I the only one that has noticed that nobody wants to come to Arsenal, except maybe Tevez. But no be by mouth alone o. He should get pen and paper and sign. ![]() @Jeje Please stop being evasive and tell us what's going on between you and Kitaun. If na love, please say so, so we can celebrate with you guys! ![]() |
Loyika, stop trying to change the subject. I go bite you o! ![]() Jeje and Kit, I'm still waiting for an explanation. ![]() |
kitaun:Kitaun, did you just spill the beans? ![]() What do you mean by 'afterlife'? Is it what I'm thinking? ![]() |
