Don't make assumptions like that. You are very wrong. Just wait and see what would happen next season.

you guys never cease to astound me - i've always said that Liverpool have so many players, that they don't know what to do with 'em and the most annoying thing is that most of these players are far-from spectacular! they're just average players and it just don't help!
Please help me ask them o! huh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 10:13am On Jun 28, 2007
Ruudie, like I've said before, Chelsea has over 5 friendlies lined up for July! We would use them to experiment. Just leave Jose to his job.

Have you read his Biography? huh Ben haim can play right back!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 9:41am On Jun 28, 2007
Ruudie, relax, all these players would be given plenty of opportunities to play!

See what happened to Mikel. He was given his opportunity and he used it well and now, he has replaced Makalele as prefered choice! grin

When these players (Sidwell, Pizarro or Haim) are given opportunities to play, they should use it well and not flop!

By the way, Ben Haim wouldn't be a bad choice for right back. Leave it to Jose to bring the best out of him. Between Haim, Diarra and Ferreira, we shouldn't have a right back problem.

Don't forget that we have over five friendlies lined up in July. We would use those friendlies to experiment! wink
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 9:21am On Jun 28, 2007
Ow come on Ruudie. . .

Don't forget that Chelsea would be playing in four competitions, so we would need as many players as possible. Players get tired from playing too many matches, so considering that fact we should have as many reserve players as possible.

See what happened at the end of last season! shocked We really suffered from tiredness.

All the players we're buying would be very useful to the team and would be given opportunities to play. If they don't play in the PREM, they'll play in the FA Cup or in the Champions League, or in the Carling Cup. grin

That's the advantage of playing in a big club like Chelsea. That's why players want to come to Chelsea! tongue

ARSENE WENGER snubbed four offers from Barcelona for Thierry Henry before selling his star striker.

The Spaniards insist it was only Henry’s determination to leave Arsenal which forced Wenger to change his mind.

Barca financial director Ferran Soriano has lifted the lid on the extraordinary series of events which saw Henry move to the Nou Camp.

Soriano insists it was Henry who made the first contact and Wenger was bitterly opposed to the £16million deal.

And Soriano has published his diary to show Henry did all the running.

The hitman, 29, was increasingly frustrated by the Gunners’ failure to challenge Manchester United and Chelsea for the Premier League title.

And he could see no end to the decline after Wenger said he was looking for only one or two new players this summer.

But the final straw for the French striker came when vice-chairman David Dein left after a bitter boardroom war.

Within two weeks of Dein’s departure, Henry knew it was also time for him to quit — and that he made a huge mistake rejecting a move to Barca last summer and committing the rest of his career to Arsenal.

Here Soriano shows how the deal unfolded:

EARLY MAY: Henry sends a message that he is interested in coming.

Wenger will not sell but we arrange to meet at Champions League final.

MAY 24: At a meeting between Wenger and Barca director Txiki Begiristain, Wenger insists Henry is unsure if he wants to stay but Arsenal will not sell.

But in the next weeks Henry tells Wenger his wish is to join us.

JUNE 18: A three-hour meeting at Wenger’s house ends in failure. We offer £12m, they want £24m.

JUNE 21: New offer is rejected. At 11pm there is a proposition which Arsenal find acceptable. At 1am our lawyer sends a concrete offer.

JUNE 22: Deal agreed by 1pm but contract is not complete. We are allowed to meet Henry.

I realise how much he wants to sign for us. He was excited like a little boy, not like a big star.

JUNE 23-25: Lawyers sort out all contracts. On June 25 Henry is a Barca player.

Many times I thought the deal was done and many times I thought we would never sign him. In the end, we did it.

It has come to my attention that you've been lusting after me. I noticed that as soon as you got your ass out of jail, you haven't let me rest. I understand the condition of prisons(I've seen it in movies). I know that you were deprived of sex during your stint in jail and that's why you are now gay.

I am really sorry that those guys in jail beat you up and forced their penis into your anus.  cry   I can imagine how painful the experience was.   cry

I can now understand why you are so desperate for a f*uck! You want to wash the stain and memory of homosexuality away.  cry

Listen sweety, instead of chasing me all over nairaland, why don't you look for 10 dollars and find yourself a prostitute! I understand that you're broke, since you're just out of jail, so I'm willing to borrow you the money.

Unfortunately I'm married so I can't do the job myself.

I'm sure you can find a sexy LovePeddler to do it, and afterwards, you would feel much better and (hopefully) you'ld leave me in peace!  cry

LIVERPOOL’S record bid for Fernando Torres is being held up by the Atletico Madrid striker’s £2.5m pay-off clause.

Anfield chief Rafa Benitez has agreed to pay £25m for the 23-year-old Spanish international.

But Torres is entitled to 10 per cent of any fee and Atletico insist Liverpool should pay it.

The Premiership outfit are adamant the cash should come out of the transfer pot and want it knocked off the price.

But Atletico president Enrique Cerezo wants Torres’ full valuation to be met.

He said: “Every player has a price and if they pay the transfer clause there is nothing we can do to stop Torres leaving.

“But at the moment what is certain is that there is nothing going on with Torres and any other club.”

Benitez’ own agent Garcia Quilon is trying to broker a deal and Liverpool are confident they will get their man.

Torres, who has hit 82 goals in 212 games, is keen to move to England and is ready to tell Atletico he wants out in a bid to break the deadlock.

Liverpool would like to make it a players-plus-cash deal. They are ready to include Djibril Cisse and Luis Garcia in a bid to keep their financial outlay as low as possible.

Cisse, 25, who has been on loan at Marseille and is still interesting the French club, has a holiday home in Spain.

Garcia, 29, missed much of last season with a knee injury but was a huge hit in a spell at Atletico five years ago.
