@Xerxes

You can't compare Sparky to Grant. Grant is a better coach than Sparky! He won trophies as a coach in the Israeli league before coming to England. Sparky on the other hand hasn't won shyte!

I wish Udeme (or is it Ibime) were here to see your last comment, he'd cringe in shame for ever supporting you. It just goes to confirm everything I've said - that you guys are just trying to mock Chelsea by rooting for 'Sparky' for the vacant post in Chelsea. grin

You bloody Arrow!

I won't even credit that bullocks you just spewed with an answer.

If Hughes gets you this sexually aroused, why don't you sack Fergie and employ him. Or better still, go shag him. Either way, I don't give a s'hit. grin grin tongue

You're the one who's the fool. You should be ashamed of yourself if the man agreeing with you is Xerxes, aka Jackal, a renowned Chelsea hater on this board. You are either a Man United fan posing as a Chelsea fan or a new member of this board. Either way, your stupidity is a big letdown, considering the fact that you're supposed to be over 50 years of age.

Listen to yourself -

Ibime:

Mark Hughes took Blackburn to FA Cup semi-final for three consecutive seasons in 04, 05, 06.

This is your darling 'Sparky''s highest achievement as a coach. The Arrow has not won a single trophy in his life as a football coach. Not even the 'milk cup'.
Avram Grant took Chelsea to the Champions league final for the first time in history and yet he's not a highly rated coach.

If you think Roman Abramovich would employ a coach who has never won a single trophy in his life, to manage Chelsea, then you're obviously high on crack or some worse chemical substance.

@Xerxes

Methinks the most likely candidate for the vacant Chelsea manager role is big Big Phil Scolari.
In view of the reception England got from him prior to the World cup when they approached him, this may go some way to explaining the deafening silence from the Bridge.
Scolari similarly this time wants to focus on Euro 2008, and not be distracted by other matters which would see the British media descend on him like a pack of Wolves. The man doesn't wanna be distracted by the media hence there would be a game of denials and silence played out by both him and Chelsea till his contract is officially played out with Portugal one way or another.

Don't forget that Chelsea has said it would be very quiet about the signing of the new coach and has advised us not to believe gists in the media until the club officially makes an announcement.

If Chelsea were really interested in Sparky, they'd have invited him for talks by now, and he won't be in talks with Man City, so don't hold your breath about 'Sparky'.

Chelsea sacked Grant cos he didn't win the one trophy that Abramovich wants - the C/L. So what makes you think they'd go for a coach who can't even win an ordinary Carling cup.

Make no mistake about it, Chelsea would employ one of three men, Big Phil Scolari, Guus Hiddink(my personal favorite) or Frank Rijkaard.

Guus Hiddink and Scolari would ofcourse distance themselves from the job in other to avoid distractions from the press when Euro 2008 is just a few days away.

Most importantly, mind your business. Leave Chelsea and go attend to your club. I hear your club is in shambles with the whole Ronaldo palava. tongue

@Ibime

It is statements like yours that make Manchester United fans and all our detractors laugh at our club. Don't join the bandwagon of English fans who want to see a British coach at Chelsea.

Most of the Chelsea fans, members of the press and bookmakers who are screaming for Mark Hughes signature are doing so for purely sentimental reasons.
They say Mark Hughes is perfect for Chelsea since he's played for the club, forgetting that he only played very briefly for Chelsea and that was at the end of his career.

Mark hughes is a big Manchester United fan. He has not made this a secret. That is why Manchester City have outrightly rejected him after speculations that they're in talks with him. They know about his ties to Man United.
Do you want a coach who supports Manchester United, our arch rivals?

Hughes or 'Sparky' as he's called in the British media, has achieved nothing in Europe and knows nothing about coaching under pressure against the big clubs and coaches.

He has no Champions league experience and no pedigree whatsoever as a coach in terms of achievements in winning trophies.

Has 'Sparky' won the Premiership? - NO!

Has 'Sparky' won the C/L? - NO!

Has Sparky won the UEFA Cup? - NO!

So what the ferk makes him different from the other average coaches in England?
Chelsea needs a top coach. A winning coach and not an average scumbag like your so-called 'Sparky'!

Manchester United fans like Xerxes are laughing at us and praying we make the mistake of signing a mediocre coach like 'Sparky'!
Don't do them that favor!

Haaaaaa Oniranu! Alakoba buruku!

Let's get back to the subject before JK gets a heart attack. Haaaaaaaaaa

Please please please, someone should help me relay a message to the special one. Tell him to hands off Essien or it'd be war!
Jose has a knack for going back to raid his previous club for players like he did when he raided Porto for Carvalho and Ferreira. He also had his eyes on Quaresma.

Tell him he can have Drogba(the boy don d'ey vex me). He can even have Malouda, Pizarro, SWP, Sidwell and Ben Haim(Mr. Bean). But he should kindly keep his special hands off Essien and Carvalho.

Lampard is sure to stay as he's been offered 130,000 pounds, so I'm no longer worried about his leaving.

@ J-K,

Without a doubt, Klass is sheer class.
To me, he is the best out n out striker out there. Forget what Torres has done at Liverpool.
Huntelaar would surpass that record if he joins Man Utd

That's the same way you were running your mouth about Saha when United was signing him.

I mention that Jose is the richest manager and you immediately turn it into an attack on United and get defensive.

Sports / Re: The Special One Is Back! by Razorr(f): 3:54pm On Jun 02, 2008
Ok. . . Now I'm stunned!

Jose Mourinho would earn a record breaking 7.1 million pounds (9 million euros) a year! shocked The bloke would also be given 100 million pounds to shop for players!

Jose is yet again the richest footie coach on this planet!

Han han!
Where do those guys get these cash sef? Na wa o.
This ones again confirms the fact that the wealth of the richest clubs on the planet doesn't stem from winning the champions league, since Inter has not won it since the 1960s.

Chelsea ofcourse! Club allegiance outweighs our like for a particular character, especially as exciting times are expected to kick off in Chelsea next season.

@Xerxes ??

Jose would always be the special one to all his fans. There's nothing he or anyone else for that matter can do to change that!

@JK

Don't hold your breath on that one yet. At least not until we know for certain what Chelsea would look like next season.
Something tells me Chelsea would be radically different with a great new coach and a different style of play.

Methinks Mr. Cash has got a few tricks up his sleeve in the transfer world this off-season.

As for Jose, I'd always love him, not just for his brilliance as a coach, but for his win-at-all-cost mentality and love for playing under pressure, hence his taking the Milan job, knowing fully well that he'd be in trouble if he doesn't deliver on Europe and win the Serie A, which is becoming a tradition with Inter Milan.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 2:26pm On Jun 02, 2008

Mikel Obi joined Chelsea because Ferguson allowed him to go.

That last statement of yours rubbishes every sensible point you've made on this subject.
It depicts your analysis as egocentric, rather than objective.

Lemme move on to less boring issues and leave United to her problems. grin
Sports / The Special One Is Back! by Razorr(f): 2:17pm On Jun 02, 2008
Former Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho is back in club management after being confirmed as the new boss of Inter Milan.

He replaces Roberto Mancini at the San Siro, who has left the Serie A champions despite leading them to a third consecutive title.

The ex-Porto boss has penned a three-year contract with Inter and there will be mounting talk that he could make transfer moves for some of his former players, including the likes of Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Deco.

Now the big question and one which stirs ma curiousity as a big fan of the aforementioned man is, why bring such pressure on your shoulders as a coach, considering the unpalatable circumstanses surrounding Mancini's sack.

Inter would expect Jose to win the Champions league in his first season as that obviously was their reason for sacking Mancini even though he brought them three(3) back to back serie A titles.

Another question - Would Inter milan's fan base multiply with this move, considering that most Chelsea fans (Moi included) are practically head over heels in love with the said bloke.

Third question - would this move see the likes of Drogba, Essien and Lampard start a mass exodus to Italy?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 1:58pm On Jun 02, 2008
@Jackal

Neither Mourinho nor Kenyon wanted Arjen Robben out! Can't believe I'm even hearing this from you. Quite disappointing!!
Robben left because the Galactikos wanted him and he wanted to leave! Nuff said!

I doubt that United or Ferguson would be stupid enough to wreck Ronaldo's career by benching him like they are threatening, considering the serious damage it would do to your reps.

Real Madrid would get Ronnie if they really set their mind to it. The management of Manchester United know this and that's why they have started panicking even though Madrid has not made any official bid for the player in question.

Why are a few quote's in the press about a club's admiration for a particular player giving the management of United such sleepless nights if the impending transfer were impossible as a certain Jackal would have us believe? grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 1:23pm On Jun 02, 2008
@TKB

You just don't seem to get it, do you?

Obviously you don't understand the way of the Galactikos. Real Madrid would get whomever they want, when they want em, especially when the player wants to go. They've got the money, so don't be shocked if they decide to do the unbelievable and buy out Ronnie's contract.

Don't forget that they've got a very balanced squad from attack to defence, hence they can afford to spend most of their transfer kitty this year on one player, especially if the player in question is Mr. Oilsheen - the delectable Christiano Ronaldo. grin

Get over it! If Ronnie wants to go, there's nothing you can do to stop him. Remember Arjen Robben last season?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 1:01pm On Jun 02, 2008
@TKB

No chance! Real won't give u those three plus cash for Mr. Oilsheen. Make no mistake about it, if Real want Ronnie, they'd get him whether you like it or not, especially since the boy wants to play for em.

@JK

Lamps just does not cut it with the style of footie Monsieur cash wants at the club. If Chelsea's quality of play is to improve, we'd need a better play-maker than Lamps. And trust me, we've got the cash to find a better replacement, especially as he's nearing the end of his career anyway.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 12:18pm On Jun 02, 2008
Lamps and Drogs can ferk off far as I care. But Essien and Carvalho? No chance! Chelsea won't sell em. We'd rather bench em sef, like Man jew in Ronnie's case.
