@Jackal

Hahahaha grin

You just read my mind. After losing to milan, that shameless Arrow of a coach would sit in front of the cameras with a big stupid grin on his face and say bullshit like 'my boys were better but unlucky' and 'the cup is not my priority'.

But can we blame the Arrow? What else do you expect from a Viewer? grin

@Jackal

Hahahaha You're not being fair. That bet can't hold cause ma darling Drogba has been injured and then was off to AFCON.

But you never know, he might come back and catch up wiv ya boy. grin Although, to be honest, Ronaldo seems uncatchable by anyone this season. The guy is simply blistering hot. And you never know, he might win the Fifa world player of the yr award if you guys clinch the C/L, which won't happen with Chelsea in the race. grin

Salam is not worth wasting words on. If you've noticed, he has not denied being a nitwit or person. We can take his silence as acceptance.

Relax! Salam never claimed to be an intellectual. Matter of fact, I'm sure he's a nitwit and proud to be one.

Like I said, I agree with you, but to do this effectively, we have to be united.
So how do you suggest we convince the people of Nigeria do join in this protest.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 2:06pm On Feb 06, 2008
Great news for chelsea and bad news for all our haters. Drogba is staying at Chelsea. grin
Haters eat your hearts out!

I can't wait for Drogba and Kalou to get their asses back to Stamford bridge, especially now that Kalou scores goals for fun. I can't wait to see a Drogba - Anelka combo in attack. It should be awesome. cool

@Ruudie

If you w'anna enter the boxing ring with me, you're highly welcome, cause I'm in battle mood.

Don't make me vex more than I don vex already.

Drogba is a better striker than Kanoute and that's that. angry
Sports / Re: Sacking Berti:this Will Certaintly Work by Razorr(f): 1:53pm On Feb 06, 2008
@Teetalks

I must confess that I love your spirit. You are 100% right. We should protest and I love your suggestions on the protest, but we need to do so for the right reasons.

First of all, it isn't the sack of Vogts we should be campaigning for, but the resignation of all those politicians and thieves in the NFA.

The problem however, is that whenever Nigerians embark on protests like this, it's the people that suffer. The people in power in Nigeria are a bunch of evil selfish twats who care more about their pockets and asses than about the poor people of this country, whose only consolation in the midst of suffering and poverty is football.

Protest we should, but for the right reasons.
Sports / Re: Sacking Berti:this Will Certaintly Work by Razorr(f): 1:28pm On Feb 06, 2008
Hahahahahahaha

Switching off all Glo mobile phones? (Thank God I ain't a Glo subscriber grin).

Sweetheart, relax! Sacking Vogts ain't the solution to Naija's problems. What we need more than ever is good management.

Vogts contract should be revised, that's all. We need to assess his level of commitment to our country and if he fails that assessment, then he can be given the boot.

The only problem I've observed with Vogts so far is that he is over-indulged by the NFA. The NFA needs to put him on a tight leash and put a clause in his contract that forces him to spend more time in Nigeria than abroad.

Nigeria is a weird country. How can you have a national coach who doesn't visit league matches? Fabio Cappello sits his ass in England and attends premiership matches to assess players and pick the boys for his squad. It's the same with coaches of other Nations, so why should Nigeria be different?

I can bet that Mr. Vogts has not been to up to 5 local league matches in Nigeria since he was appointed.

How da heck do you assess Nigerian players all the way from Germany?

God help us.
Sports / Re: Kanoute Named 2007 African Footballer Of The Year by Razorr(f): 1:12pm On Feb 06, 2008
I must admit that Kanoute was outstanding last year, but I think you guys shouldn't let sentiments cloud your judgements.

Drogba shoulda won it with Kanoute coming a close second.

If you disagree with me, ask yourself this- If you were asked to choose between both players for a transfer to your club, who would you choose?

I rest my case.

I agree about the Yahooze bit but I take offense to your calling my very own darling an arrogant SOB.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 1:01pm On Feb 06, 2008
@A-40

We do not need Terry to deal with you guys at the bridge. Alex and Carvalho are enough in our defence.

The only reason Pompey scored that goal on Saturday was cause Mr. Bean (Haim) was in the match. You won't have any such luck when you come to the Bridge.

I'm willing to place a 100 pounds on that game so let me know if you're willing to bet. It won't even be a draw, it'd be an all out victory for Chelsea.

Oh, I almost forgot - We won't be needing Lamps as well. Ballack, Essien and Mikel/Maka are enough to hold things down in our midfield, while Anelka, Drogba, Joe Cole and SWP/Malouda do the damage in our attack. Not forgetting Kalou, who scores goals for fun these days.

As long as Sidwell, Mr. Bean and Pizzarro are not in that match, I can promise you that you guys are in for trouble. grin

100 pounds if you're game. cool
Sports / Re: Players That Need To Go With Berti "Faults"! by Razorr(f): 12:46pm On Feb 06, 2008
Hahahahaha

Every player in our squad to AFCON '08 should be sacked except for the following: -

1. Captain Kanu Nwankwo (His coaching skills during the Benin match led to our victory grin)
2. Osaze Odemwinge
3. Danny Shittu
4. Dickson Etuhu.
5. Austin Ejide
6. Ikechukwu Uche.
7. John Obi Mikel.

The rest of the boys should be given the boot.

Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Ghana: Can We Beat The Host Country? by Razorr(f): 3:33pm On Feb 01, 2008
Boy O Boy!

I just love Nigerians. Always very optimistic.

Let's not get carried away people, by our miraculous qualification for the quarter finals. We owe our qualification to the Ivorians and that's the beginning and end of it.

I think some of us need to drown ourselves in a very cold shower to ease up on our high expectations in that match.

Nigeria would be defeated by Ghana. I've got no doubt about that. The reason is simple, the Ghanians came ready for this competition, we didn't.

The Ghanians have got a good team spirit, while the eagles are a bunch of seemingly unmotivated and uncommited lot.

The Ghanians have a skillful squad while we can't boast of a single skillful player in our ranks.

The Ghanians seem to get better with each passing game, while the eagles fluctuate in their performances, heck we even struggled to defeat a lowly ranked Benin side.

Funny thing is that a lot of people would be quick to toss the blame of our poor performance at our coaching crew, but I'd insist that what we lack is not good coaching, but good management. We blame Berti Vogts for spending 70% of his time in Germany instead of in the country of his employment, but we forget to blame those in our football management who fold their arms and let this happen.

I've got no illusions about defeating Ghana and I'd suggest we all follow suit in order to avoid heartbreaks.

If we do defeat them though, then Glory be to God.

He should also teach his boys this vital lesson in football - 'Never head-butt your fellow team-mate'.

It's true!!
Monsieur Wengay has been pleading in tears to other Premiership clubs, including Chelsea, to take Walcott on loan. grin

But how can you blame the man after that humiliation by the Spurs? grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Razorr(f): 10:54am On Jan 24, 2008
@Loyika

Hey chief chief!! How you dey?

I've been itching to say ma piece about your game on Tuesday but unfortunately, I've been too busy. grin

That defeat to Spurs was a long time coming. You can't keep pushing a tiger to the wall and expect it not to bite back one day. grin
But what da hell, 5-1? shocked See vexing of the highest order. grin

I keep telling peeps that the biggest problem with le arse is that prof. Wengay over-indulges his players. He did that to Henry and now its Fabregas. The boy has got skill but he needs to put his head down and develop some maturity. He should learn from the big boys or he'd remain a kid in footie terms.

Forgive me for this, but I've just g'otta compare your game to mine yesterday. Both our teams faced a tough battle. Everton pushed ma boys to the wall, but skill, team work, experience and a strong team character gave us the day. cool tongue

Everton played their hearts out, but just weren't good enough. Ma boys never lost focus for a second.

But it wasn't the same with Le'arse. grin Your boys cracked up like dry indomie noodles under the pressure mounted on you by the Spurs. You guys lacked character in that game and I wouldn't blame it on inexperience because you had your big boys in the match. grin
It got so bad that your boys started beating each other up. grin grin Talk about madness on a footie pitch. grin Shit would have been so hilarious if not for the timely intervention of monsieur Gallas. grin

Ma Verdict? - Le'arse's boys should be sent back to school for some lessons in keeping cool under pressure. Or better still, borrow some character from a superior Chelsea side. grin

LOYIKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooooo pissed witcha!!!
So you've been in Lagos all these while and didn't tell me! YAY!!!!!!!! I'm g'onna kill ya. grin

Did you still go for the Calabar festival? If you did, I'm sure it was boring. Lagos was where the fun was during Christmas. At least it was fun for those of us with dough. grin

If you're still in Lagos tomorrow, come down to Cubes bar @ Silverbird galleria to watch the PREM games. Maybe you'd see me. grin

Say hi to your wife for me. cool

What da Bleep!

Must be Ribadu's sack giving the plonker the courage to come out at night. Heard his dogs did Tinubu's dirty jobs in P/H.

Hehehehehe

Jackal, well. . . You're right about Ronaldo being the best in the world as we speak. Matter of fact, I'm still speechless that he came third in the FIFA world player of the yr award. I think that was daylight robbery on the PREM.

Back to chelsea, I dunno who Grant/ Cate would buy in Jan. You never know, Cate might even be up to a coup as we speak to snatch up both Huntelaar and Ronaldinho, based on his past connections wiv em.
I'd just keep ma fingers crossed. I'd let Grant make great purchases in Jan and prove to all and sundry that he ain't a donkey.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 5:50pm On Dec 27, 2007
@Jackal

Fabregas versus Gattuso? Hahahahahahahaha

You know what I fear the most about those Milan guys? It's the fact that they've got too many coaches in their squad. grin  Bleep Ancelotti.

Seedorf is a coach. . .
Gattuso is a coach. . .
Maldini is a coach. . .

Pirlo is a tactician.

Even Kaka is a master tactician. . .  grin

Those guys are so technically/tactically astute that I'd be quaking in ma boots if I was a gaynner.  Heck, those guys are so fucking dangerous in the C/L. They put up a completely different team to what we see in the Serie A.

Fabregas versus Gattuso? Hahahahaha  Some niggas here are having a laugh. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 5:28pm On Dec 27, 2007
@Jackal

Don't get it wrong. I don't w'anna count ma eggs before they hatch, we still need to buy at least 2 strikers in January. Matter of fact, we need 2 strikers, 2 wingers grin, 2 defenders, and at least one midfield general. That's 7 players in all. I hope Monsieur Grant takes advantage of his role as Abramovich's prime mistress and does some gold-digging before the third of January.

But I'm glad people like Sheva and Ballack are stepping up. Chelsea should pose a solid challenge for the PREM and C/L from January if Grant get's his head screwed on right. I'd be pissed if we're still Playing Kalou in February.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Razorr(f): 5:14pm On Dec 27, 2007
@Jackal

So united is now topping the table. Damn!
Was hoping it'd be Chelsea by the 31st, but I guess it wasn't to be.

Well, the only consolation for me now is that Sheva has found his goal scoring boots and now scores for the fun of it.
Honestly, if you were to chose now between Adebayor, Torres and Sheva, who would it be? grin

Jackal:

@ Razorr,

Remember the day I-man and I worked out the average age of the GAYnners compared to Man Utd?
That was the day majority of the GAYnners saw the light.
Before that time . . . .every Nairaland gaynner believed Arsenal was such a young club . . . .Lehmann is 18, Gilberto is 19, RVP is 17.
Majority of em didnt even know RVP was older than Tevez, Ronaldo, Rooney, Nani and Anderson.

Gaynners are a sorry bunch.
Just last night . . . . . .Trebosky said Arsene Wenger was their greatest manager until i corrected him.
90% of em are plastic fans who sit on arm chairs and just watch the tube after buying their YABA merchandise. grin grin
Debosky tries a bit . . .Lordi doesnt over-estimate their potentials and Loyika has learnt to keep his mouth shut.
All others including the Tolotolos and Azeezats are just twats.

Hahahahahahaha

Jackal, I give up! You've said it all.

Gosh!

You bloody liar!

Stop trying ta cover up ya stinking ass, now that the world has discovered the truth about your sorry lot. grin

No number of Hennessy bottles I swallow tonight would make me forget how you plonkers argue 'bout the 'young guns' bullshit here on N/L.
Ma brain ain't too fuzzy to recall how y'all love to hail your 'young guns'.

Lehmann is a young gun. Gilberto is a young gun. Heck, anyone wiv a 'fly emirates' shirt on is a young gun.
Ma grandpa is a young gun cos he's a Gaynner. grin cheesy

What a sorry bunch. grin

Well, unlike the stingy Prof. WenGAY, monsieur Grant is g'onna spend the heavy kitty Roman is g'onna give him in a few days on a coupla good players (especially strikers), unlike our tight fisted friend in North London. grin

Good luck wiv Milan, you're g'onna need it. grin

It's hilarious I swear! grin

Peeps in Jand defo come to N/L.

Just yesterday I posted here on N/L that Ben Haim looks like Mr. Bean. Two minutes later, someone created a thread in 606 asking if no one has noticed that Haim looks like Mr. Bean. grin

I've seen so many thoughts expressed on UK sites that reflect what we discuss here on N/L. The same shit happened when we were calling Rooney Shrek(pls forgive me grin). Peeps started calling the poor guy shrek everywhere.

Trust me, N/L is quite popular, prolly cause of google.

We should keep dissing Gaynners and come up wiv more creative disses for peeps around the world to pick up. grin

I doff ma hat for you for creating the term 'GAYNNER'. T'was genius. grin Keep it up.
