My point is really simple. Drogba has scored about 40 goals since summer last year. The man is a goal scoring machine. It's second nature to him and it would be foolhardy to expect this to end. He has proven that he is not close to retiring yet with his recent performances.

Talking about Drogba's miss on Sunday, Ronaldo has had misses like that too of late, don't make me go into Youtube in search of proof videos. Every great player has flops like that from time to time, but makes up for them.
Drogba missed and yet went on to score and then saved us from blushes by stopping a goal bound shot later on. I believe those actions more than compensated for his flop. Give the big man a break, we often ask too much of him. He ain't the only striker we've got, is he?

Do you agree that Didier Drogba would take the Golden Boot again his season in the PREM? I know you might disagree , but I think it's likely, considering that Chelsea's goal scoring responsibility usually falls squarely on his shoulders (unfairly I would say). A lot is always expected of the big man and he almost always delivers.

Look at it this way, if Chelsea has a goal drought, first name peeps think of to lay blame on is Drogba, forgetting that we have FOUR strikers in our team.
