yak: Which of the 2 is cheaper to maintain just for personal use?? Drop kids and pick them, go work and come back. Nothing special Both of them will serve the purpose very well with little maintenance. If you are settling for Yaris, be very sure that the AC system is factory fitted! Some of the 2008 spec come without AC from factory. For the Honda Civic, provided you buy 'verified' toks, you have nothing to worry about. Personally, Civic over Yaris. |

pope191: Either way this hustle favour those on the island more. 5am trip don done.... from ajah you can see someone going to Yaba or Lere for a good price and no how you won't get island back. Before 10am you are already above 10k.
But you see my area 9am will still deh drag ikeja 1600 and 1800. If you think say I deh lie ask Doris for Ojodu Estate and Kayode for Omole Estate. When you get to Ikeja, nah you and your gods go just deh on hope. Drivers will be like ants on sugar. I actually agree with you. Many a times I've done a trip to Ikeja as early 630am hoping to get a trip to island but Omo na price be issue. We go drag drag like say tomorrow no they. Especially inside that Omole and Aina street and environment Vi, surulere and Yaba sure from Ajah 100% |

Actually considering something the budget can get and it's from 07/08/09 Yaris and Honda Civic are good choice. With both cars, you are free from vandalism. Maintenance friendly and good fuel economy. |

Meanwhile the guy sef still dey price 70k and me still insist on 100. 70k is poor. You are taking them to Oyo, not Ibadan. 3days trip! My round trip to IB (Bodija) yesterday was 50k round trip. Although the woman later paid 55k due to the stress of using Ikorodu route. Don't stress the deal, if he can't pay premium, let them use public transport. |

Pearl1910: It's not usually like this. Surprisingly, From 7am till now there is still traffic from thirdmainland bridge to Berger as if it is closing time. Today there was no traffic into thirdmainland bridge from d mainland, I was thinking my Google map was still hanging from yesterday's trip. That Berger traffic is now more than mad. I can bet 70% of people that came home in that traffic yesterday couldn't wake up early to go to work on d island today again. For me ones I leave Ojodu-Berger axis in d morning, nothing will make me come back till my last trip in d night. I knew something wasn't right. The traffic usually don't go beyond Otedola at worst CMD during the day until like 4/5pm before it stretches to Alapere side. That's why I didn't bother to check map, only to approach Ogudu and it was blocked down to Opic. The way I avoid that axis and Ikeja these days eehn... Na only interstate trip they make me pass there. Person wey say we go leave IB by 2pm sef never finish like this. Which kind Wahala be this |

I wonder how guys that ply Ogudu/Alapere - Berger/Opic cope on daily basis. Earlier I was taking an offline client to Ibadan from Lekki, got to Ogudu around 730, as at 905am we got to that diversion for Ikorodu exit. I suggested to my client that we should use Ikorodu - Ogijo - Sagam and head to IB. She agreed as she was already running late for her appointment. That was our only saving grace..because If we stayed on the normal route, I'm sure we'll still be there by now, that traffic goes as far as Opic! My only mistake was not using map from lekki. I'd have suggested we use Epe route. |

pope191: I believe people use e-hailing rides for different reasons, many faces we dont know. I once pick a celeb, she was a bit scared as someone booked the ride for her. Me I don't know her and I am rude in my way if I don't know you simple means I don't know you, don't be hyping needless. She was just being terrified through out the trip and was even regretting why she didn't request for escort. Inside my mind, on top this my korope, madam park well jare we meet with another celeb I knew very well, a legend in the music industry. So I went online to check her out and found out I know her song, but not her face.
She call me time to time, but offline is not really my thing. Picked her like 3 times after that and that's it. My point? Some people don't find long distance driving fun. Toj..ahh, north..bird, pea..rl, Reada..dream are the ones that doesn't have issues with spending 4-6 hours in traffic. So when it comes to come and break your back, they reach out for them. Pope abeg I no like spending hours in traffic o. E they always pepper me for body. That's why I try to leave my house as early 4am. I also know my route, I no request to pick and to ignore. I knew today was going to be rough, traffic wise, so I tried to go out last night but Sangotedo traffic said for where? We die there . Naso I slept off while monitoring traffic condition. Woke up early and dashed out only to still get stuck in traffic for hours. If not that the Chinese guy called me to come pick him. I won't stay out till 12pm before I run back home. I have no problem driving long distance, what I dislike is traffic. I don go Abuja twice this year. |
