The wisdom in Lagos is to drive in areas you are familiar with. That was the luxury Bolt took from Drivers. Even some experienced drivers enter one way. Don't rely on Gmap fully in some areas. After you pay heavy sums to those stupid anti one - way teams, the trauma will be with you for weeks.

After much complains about rogue lastma officials and their Lastma traffic teams extorting motorists on SM as regards Dopemu. if you noticed, LASG removed the ( after 3pm) one way signage at Dopemu Bridge.

I'm not sure if I've taken a trip to Surulere UpTo 5 times this year. I avoid that axis, and the fact that it's major exit points towards the Island are always congested makes me run from there.

Lagos (Berger) to Ijebu should take roughly an 1hour 30minutes.

Smooth road from Lagos to Ijebu...It's even smother if you are using the Sangotedo-Epe-Ijebu route. I usually do Sangotedo to Sagam in less than 2hours.

You have nothing to worry about provided all your documents are intact. If you are leaving early, you will encounter Federal Highway Patrol team at Sagam entrance.

It's manageable. The road is tarred till you get to Atican Beach, from there it's the regular beach soil. Now that it's raining season, it's even better at least your car won't sink. Just drive with caution and you are good to go.

Nah long trip they carry me enter those side. I usually don't like going beyond Atican.

If you are going to the Airport or anywhere that will make you go through Apapa/Oworo Exp, look for alternative route.

There's a fallen truck or bus that crossed the road, before you descend from Oshodi Oke. It's a standstill.

I was lucky to escape it because I used the service lane and pass front of Lasma HQ to link Ilupeju bypass and continue to Airport.
