A rider booked me at Ladipo Market side. I called him and told him that it would take me 9 minutes to get to his location. He said, there's no problem, that he's ready waiting for me.

The time I called him was 7:32pm. I drove all the way from Isolo road close to Mushin market to Ladipo and called the animal only for him to tell me that he has only 1500 with him.

That he has already booked Indriver and the driver accepted to go for 1500, whereas Bolt is telling him 2k plus. This man is going to Allen Avenue, Ikeja, from Ladipo, Mushin, at night and someone accepted to embark on such journey with 1500 as heavily trafficked as Ikeja can be at night.

I erroneously called him again by 7:45pm when I wanted to call my next rider that I'm at the pickup location and the nigga was still asking if it's the Bolt driver or Indriver driver. Meaning that the Indriver guy hasn't arrived 13 minutes after.

Only God knows how long he has to drive to go pick a man from Mushin to Ikeja by that time of the day at 1500 naira.

And, you want to tell me that Indriver is not for drivers without option?

One thing you need to understand is that, there are new drivers still trying to understand the job and there are the foxlish ones that has failed to learn regardless of how long they've been on the job.

Sometimes is not just about not having an option.

Someone like me, even as I don't have Bolt account again I still select quality trips. From experience I already have an idea of what price to charge on a given trip so if you like edit price I'll just skip and wait for my own.

Have you updated your App? Not having Bolt account shouldn't make you loose the car. You need to change working tactics that's all.

Pay a mechanic to go with you for inspection. 07-09 civic is a sweet car with good fuel economy.

That detour to Sangotedo is the problem. They'll end up wasting time in Sangotedo traffic before they come back to face VGC traffic. It would have made sense if it was straight to destination from Addo road.

The day I made up my mind to always stick with Gmap was when I was caught in 7up/tollgate bus stop traffic around 1am... Who would have thought of meeting traffic at that time? I finally had to use Kudirat Abiola way to drop my rider at Berger bus stop b4 heading home.

You can succeed driving in Lagos without the help of Gmap.

I can't count the Nos of rider I've sent outta of my car for declining the use of Gmap, I just pull over in a safe place then ask them to step out.

Some riders know they'll be bored when they get to where they're going so they want to waste some precious time enjoying the comfort in the car untop small money

Boss. I use map 90% of the time but 450am. Sangotedo to Airport, haba. It's a straight road down.

Most times I only load map when approaching Ikate to make my decision on which route to use (Ozumba or Ikoyi?

I am also stuck with Indriver only. If you must take a long trip this period bargain for a better fare. I didn't calculate my movement very well this morning if not I would not have been caught in that mess of a trip. 4hrs ontop 6k.

If I had opened google map at Abraham adesanya traffic light, I'd have used Ogombo. It was when I got to the middle of Ajah bridge and everywhere block that I checked map. Omo I shock.

The scope like this is to do short trips within, 1500 1800 2000 etc. Before you realize it, you've made something reasonable.

You would have simply drive into the car park na, it's just N600 (now) that would've been far better and you would've got a trip out with rider paying self when you're done.

I parked at that exact spot two weeks ago to take a leak, there was no issues. That was what gave me the confidence to go there.

I don't wait for ride at the local airport at 9am, it's waste of precious time.

I don't even have any morale to continue working.

I was perceiving a burning smell when we got to the Airport tollgate, I turned off the AC and rolled down the glass, managed it to MM2.

Immediately after drop off, I went to Airport staff quarters to check the cause of the smell. The moment opened the bonnet to check, securities from the Staff quarters appeared from nowhere with clamps. Argh!

Those guys didn't listen to any explanation, they drove the car inside their premises. That's when we began to bargain. From 20k they billed me, I went to 3k. Las las they took 5k before releasing the car.

this Is worse than terrible. When u tot u will reach ur destination in about an hour. 2hours between Ajah and VGC is crazily mad. Fuel scarcity and unmanaged queue for fuel has worsened an already bad situation.

thanks boss. Got to airport exactly 9am. I pleaded with the guy to add 1k because we agreed 6k. He said never that someone was even begging him for 5500 but his car disappointed him. I just weak, I couldn't protest further because I felt he's not a reasonable OG.

I accepted airport trip from Sangotedo at 450am. As at 5:15am I was already on Ahah bridge, it's 7:15am now, I just got to VGC traffic stop.

Rider said his flight is for 11am, in order to avoid stories that's why he moved early. How do I tell this man to add money like this?

P.S I don off Ac, two minutes without movement engine goes off.

The road is terrible. Drivers don reject the girl, she had no choice than to increase her offer and me been me, I went for the highest price. She accepted my offer on the first bid.

Some of them know, hence they put higher price to get a driver. I did one like that on Sunday from Adebayor Doherty lekki phase one to Ben flo str, Orchid Rd for #3640. She sent 4k.

I chat them up without them chatting me, infact I use it more since the update because it helps me avoid getting charged Incase I change my mind about going on the trip. I also use it to negotiate for a better fare if the rider vibe well on chat.

The destination thing has been there for a very long time. It's useless IMO.
