Some dealers over there are one of the biggest fraudsters but people dont know. They buy battered cars from auction, try to make them look good and send them back to the auction to sell at a much more higher price . at the end of the day if you purchase one of this vehicles. When it arrives at your door step you'd know so many things are wrong than what you saw in the picture.

Sometimes they might sell vehicles with lien (loan) on them, then exporting becomes a problem .


If you are not an expect in auto purchase.
Kindly stick to cars sold by insurance alone e.g geico usaa e.t c

A car with a Knocking engine sound that moves. Will be tagged as run and drive.
A car that has a damaged transmission. But can move will be tagged as run and drive.

Auction cars are a bet. So be careful of most cars sold by individuals or dealer on Auctions .



The land cruiser below was sold by the insurance looking like the first picture.
A dealer over there bought it and tried to make it look good.
Only fixing the cosmetics looks .
Note airbags were not fixed all problems still remains and other mechanical issues still remains.

A noob that sees the car again will think its just a minor accident car. At the end of the day if you buy it for the high price thinking its a minor fix , You will be burned and end in debt .

There are cars on copart without engines which they claim the hood is stuck . so no engine picture.
All this are sold by dealers and normal individuals.

There's a reason why these sort of cars are pushed off US highways. Their integrity is compromised. The impacted side pillars can not survive another impact. Its a moving coffin, the airbag was not fixed properly and when commission occurs no deployment will occur increasing the risk of injuries and death. The chassis integrity is compromised and I am sure the tyres will keep wearing off prematurely driving Will be skewed.

But this car is salvage not a certificate of destruction or junked title. If this car was bought by an american it will be rebuilt and put back on the road .
Just a p.s American dealers also repair salvage like this with low miles and resell them. The only upper hand is they properly fix the airbags .

cars without duty will mostly be 2014 and above.
Its being pennypound foolish if cars of this or below dont have duty.
Illegal entering will sort out the duty legitly at lagos port.

As for partial / full duty.
You that clearead 2012 Camry for 1million and you that cleared it for 1.5M are same.
As long as its tincan cleared you're good to go .
Tincan duty is not certain theres so much corruption there you cant get an exact value for anycar

There are different specifications for different users.
And this 4cylinder comes with lower trims.

My advice above was for the mdx .

Modern cars have knock sensors and ecu designed to rétard timing and perfomance just incase low octane fuels are used.
A vehicle ecu is not just there to power a vehicle. A lot of engineers worked on designing specific functions on that ecu which end users barely notice.
The engine can adjust to low octane fuel but longevity is not guaranteed because engine wear might be increased.

The major concern is getting Clean fuel with no dirts or mixture.
Use Good Engine Oils with the right viscosity recommended by the manufacturer. You'd be fine

Moral.
Always Use premium fuel on your premium cars but if it can't be gotten Regular Fuel can be used .

Octane Booster on that mdx is same as Aja n sare . Owo n Jona.

Octane Booster can't do much with our fuel. If you think it will raise it close to 95 you just played your self .
Most octane boosters on the market don't deliver anything close to what they claim, they might prevent the onset of knock / pre ignition . but do not expect much from them .
Some of this octane boosters fúck up your seals or even injector

Theres no substitue for premium good Fuel. No amount of octane booster can do that.

First, octane booster. For how long? Which one can be trusted? Is it Abro?

Secondly, without booster, engine worries. One user told me he got his mechanic to open up and clean the engine once in two years. How realistic is this?
I'm don't think I would like to have my car's engine opened up that frequently.

But then, a lot of such vehicles are on the roads and they seem to be surviving. Hence my questions.

Forget about octane boosters.

Just get the car.
The car has knock sensors. As long as you get good fuel you'd be fine.

You will have to live with regular fuel here in nigeria.

The low octane would have been manageable. But Our own low octane fuel is packed with dirts some of them might even be mixed.

First of all you will get poor gas mileage .
You might get misfires sometimes but your engine should adjust itself and work properly.
Your catalytic converters will die a premature death.

But your car will survive.
Before it completely dies. It will take years.

There are lots of benz, bentley , rolls royce , lambo e.t.c that run our fuel here. They will do just fine but engine Might get old and tired in a short time.

Ha ha, I never used an s5, but used an s6 and the battery show me pepper. I use to charge it 3-4 times a day. This is a phone I will unplug at 100% by 7am and by 11-12 noon I'm already on 10%. I had to sell it. Then got s7 edge, that one had good battery, one of the best Samsung phones in terms of battery life... At least that one could take me till 3-4pm before I will need to top up. Right now I'm using LG v20 and the battery is fair, just like s7 edge battery if not a little better.

Samsung battery almost made me go crazy.
Once a samsung phone gets warm. Just put it off and on it later. Because its gonna be a bad day. Phone will just keep draining.
Modern Lg Phones Are quite solid.
I like the G5. Only issue is poor gps (sometimes)
Might upgrade to the G6 .

I used to be a samsung fan. I still am.
But the battery life of s5 is terrible sometimes.
The s5 might last 6hours today.
And tomorrow it will barely last two hours. Phone will just get hot and keep draining.
Charge it full and watch it drain on its own gradually.

P.s I've used several s5 right from it launch in 2014.
Ive used over 4 different models of s5 with original batteries and they suck.
I've used g900h Hspa. (Bad battery life especially on Android 6)
G900v verizon (had a fair battery life.)
G900f international version
G900a at&t .

I never used s6 so i dont know about battery life.

But i used s7 edge and battery was fair.

I'm currently on lg G5 and the battery life so so Good.
Infact i love it.

S5 battery life will frustrate you.
