Plantain is also good but should be planted solely on your private property/land. Exchanging ideas makes life easier. Like I said before, doing a market survey would give you an idea of commodities in high demand.

It is not easily what thrives in my area...If I planted veggies such as amaranthus and co on a full acre of land..I won't want to depend on rain and I don't believe there's enough return in that aspect...Vegetable is a thing people plant around ..water leaf and ewedu are weed all over the place..I appreciate your prompt response

I actually meant giving cassava planting a trial not veggies.

I would suggest that you do a market survey in your area first to know what crops are in high demand & can easily be sold off.
That been said, cassava isn't a demanding crop as opposed to veggies & since you are depending on rain to do your farming, why not give it a trial?

I still find it difficult to believe these nonsense stories about witchcraft/juju/jazz/ etc. They just don't add up

I also used to find such stories hard to believe but it all changed last year when my friend showed me his swollen leg, all the veins stood out. He said that it was just a little scratch that caused it & he was truly suffering from pain. All I could do was sympathize & ask him to go for treatment. Instead of getting better, it actually got worse. Someone told him it wasn't ordinary, took him somewhere for spiritual consultation. Come & see "back to sender" things. It turned out that it was his former biz partner that caused the problem. As I type this, my friend has been cured & the biz partner is still looking for how to cure himself.

Telling the husband that she has copies of those documents before taking legal action puts her life at great risk. If she does that, she will be giving her enemy leverage over her & also the opportunity to defend himself.
