The church through the Quakers finally abolish slave trade. It came from the church and not through government or any other religion.


There are two kinds of slavery. The one is the fianicial slavery, the sons of the prophet that went into slavery were Jews and fell into the category. After payment they were allowed to go. This won't happened in African religions.
Also there is a year of jubilee where every slave must be set free irrespective of the debts or period.

The other slavery is what is obtainable which Jews never practice. There is no record of slave captured from war front though there are specific way iof treating a slave f it happens to be so. Please, quote me on the Bible cos they will be set free on jubilee and other festival ordained by God.

The old covenant = the old testament

It outdated context which includes the blood of sheep , the process of cleansing, the ceremony to get God attention still remain outdated and been replaced by the new testament.
