Politics / Re: Buhari First 7 Horrible Acts Since Becoming President Elect by realest247(m): 7:36pm On Apr 30, 2015
naija2dabone:

1. A legion of excuses and change of promises

Since winning election, Buhari has been singing a new tune totally different from what he told us prior to the elections. From "dont expect miracles", to "my agenda threaten by falling oil prices" Now we even hear that the APC's manifestos which Nigerians voted for 'is not the bible or Qur'an which can not be change' See gobe

2. Barring AIT
Old habits die hard. 'repentant democrat' indeed. The fate of even nairaland is in the balance

3. Rewarding founder of BBOG group with political appointment
That the activities of this group is suspect from the start is no news but with this all doubts about their mission and aims have been cleared. They may have many lofty aims as a group but now we know that rescuing the chibok girls is not one of their aims

4. Promises Selective probes (Case in point, Sanusi's £20 billions)
One of the think Buhari was accused of during the campaigns was his tendacy for selective prosecutions. Now tell me, what about the Financial Reporting Council allegations of fraudulent financial recklessness leveled against Sanusi himself including the Sanusi’s claim that it paid N38.233 billion to the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company Plc in 2011 for the “printing of bank notes” whereas the turnover of the entire printing and minting company group is N29.370 billion.

5.Promoting god fatherism in Nigeria political space
From hanging out with OBJ to granting interview to Aljezera insinuating that OBJ is his political god father. We all know that political god fatherism is one of the bane of our national development as all political god fathers are rent seekers

6. Making Corrupt politicians the pillars of his team
For some one who made all the right noises about fighting corruption to be nomination a committee filled with people with corruption cases with EFCC leave much to be desired. Even making Timipre Sylva, who is accused of stealing N19.2billion from the state treasury while he governed the state between 2007 and 2011 as the head of his team is a shame

7. Forming a parallel government.
Through his actions and utterances, the incoming government was overheating the polity and carrying out actions which tend to undermine the powers of President Goodluck Jonathan. Do unto other as you wish other do to you

For only the Wise smiley

Foreign Affairs / Re: South Africa Shuns Jonathan, Says "We Will Discuss With Buhari Next Month" by realest247(m): 8:08am On Apr 27, 2015
socialmediaman:
The lawmakers were at the top of the fight because the presidency kept mute on the issue as usual. While I agree with the decision of the Nigerian government to recall its ambassador, I feel the lack of real action on the part of South Africa is a reflection of their level of disrespect for Nigeria and its outgoing executive leadership at the moment. See guts, they even made it indirectly clear they have no business with the outgoing president. President Jonathan really brought disdain to this country, South Africa will not insult us like this on a very good day..

My Guy, it's clear you don't know what you are saying. This prejudice some you Nigerians have for GEJ would not help y'all in any way. I'm sure you are one of those who voted against GEJ, but I bet y'all would cry to have him back as President. Trust me

Nigeria is a place where we wish for the best but subconsciously crave & choose the worst. We are such people that thinks we know it all, whereas na zero level we dey. We cried for the best and God showed it to us but we trew it to the gutters and consciously choose what's we are already used to (DISASTER). Well, In the Abundant of water, the fools will still be tasty. God bless GEJ for adding a bit of light to our spiritual eyes, even though we don't know. May the lord add more wisdom in us, illuminate our minds so that we can truthfully differentiate Good over Evil. Amen

FOUR MAJOR REASONS WHY JONATHAN ACCEPTED DEFEAT EASILY

No Civilian President would have done lesser than what Jonathan does(Accepting defeat). All the other presidents who stuck to power in the past have military background, so Jona hasn't done anything spectacular and I don't think he has made any history contrary to the songs many people here are singing.

Now here are my reasons for saying he hasn't made any history:

1. There are international observers everywhere and any nonsense will get him Gbagboed into International prison because they have declared the election as FREE AND FAIR. Remember Charles Taylor, Laurent Gbagbo and Gaddafi. They are all soldiers who are not scared a bit of prison or death, that's why they never stopped fighting. But for GEJ, he is not strong; a civillian like you and I, not ready to languish in prison. Obama himself made allusion to Nigeria election a day before it held, so that is enough to send some sensation of fear into the spine of any African president who has no military background. Jona himself has been made to sign peace treaty twice and also interviewed internationally and made to vow that their would be a credible election.

2. The earlier he agrees with Buhari, the better for him because no matter what he does, BUHARI is ready to suck him dry of the national wealth he has amassed for himself over the years and possibly dump him in prison. You will remember his wife shouting that she wasn't ready to feed her husband in prison. Jonathan is not a strong person at heart, so you should expect him to be scared of prison, unlike the likes of Buhari, Obj and other military converts.
So, calling Buhari on phone isn't a big deal at all, since that would be the last appeal he could do so that his punishment could be lessened. With this, by the time Buhari start crying out loud that Jonathan has done this and that, we the gullible Nigerians will start calling Buhari a wicked man and saying "upon how Jona called this man on phone, yet he is still exposing him that way." That is what we call APPEAL TO PITY(Fallacy)

3. With JEGA's intellectually calm and astute response to Mr Odubebe's bei bei bei, the whole world has already judged the man as a very shrewd and unbiased man, so I don't see any court case or rejection of the election result standing at all. Surely, Jega will defend himself and win in all cases. Also, everyone knows that Jona would have made many advances to Jega in attempts to bribe him; surely JEGA will reveal those advances in court and the story would be 'no story at all.'

4. Jona had to act this way(you all know he is a Nollywood actor) just to buy the apathy of many gullible Nigerians (especially the 'prophet says' and the 'Jona is a gentleman' type). He hasn't done anything well for the past six years, so by gently walking away, he wants to use that to gain last-minute popularity. Well, good luck to him but I ain't buying his ideas.[/b]

Shot up. Wasting your time typing all this biased piece will take u nowhere. Cow

Politics / Re: Asari Mobilizing And 5,000 Militants Lined Behind Him {photo} by realest247(m): 6:40pm On Apr 02, 2015
LogicPower:

1. Asari and his goons should know that no matter how well prepared they think they are, militarily, financially and otherwise, it would be SUICIDALLY DELUSIONAL of them to think that they can threaten the rest of the country simply because the Nigerian people exercised their democratic rights and voted against their kinsman.

2. Since it is not possible for the Asaris to forcibly change the outcome of the election, there are three options for them now:

!. to SHUT UP, live with it and remain in the country as free, law-abiding citizens.
!!. to immediately relocate abroad permanently in protest of the decision of Nigerians to elect a 'Gambari' and 'his slave' as president and VP respectively.
!!! to remain in the country and start using all their accumulated weapons, resources, trained personnel, experience, expertise, etc, to challenge the authority of the in-coming Federal government AND DARE THE CONSEQUENCES.

3. As for the good ordinary law-abiding people of ND, they should rest assured that, God willing, their lot would even be better under the new progressive government of APC; as the in-coming government reduces corruption and looting, it would have more resources available for people-oriented projects that would help reduce poverty and unemployment across the country, ND region inclusive.

This is the fourth time Buhari is applying for the best looser certificate. He shouldn't worry, GEJ will rebrand it and add a crown to it this time, so that will make him the #LooserKing of all time. cheesy

Politics / Re: Eligibility Suit; Buhari Lawyers Complicates Case, Refuse To Tender Evidences. by realest247(m): 9:25am On Mar 24, 2015
Flets:
If by the slimmest chance Buhari survives tomorrow and wins this election, extremely hard times lies ahead for this country.

Definitely, the creeks will go haywire again, Buhari will send the troops to the creeks and together they will set the oil facilities ablaze.

While these persists, the oil producing companies will simply withdraw their personnel from the volatile region and all foreign investment will seize in all sectors. And even if the troops kill 90% of the militants, it will take just one militant, a dynamite and just one location along the multi- kilometre trunklines to continue to wreck havoc.

Fast forward to 2019, if we remain one country and without a civil war,, we will be an economic wreck with no allocations and salaries, no capital projects, no hope with dollar exchanging for 400 naira and we are worse off than we were in 2015.

Cos the truth is that without crude proceeds for now, Nigeria is finished.

And then, we'll be screaming another 'Change' because we would have learnt a bitter lesson in the hands of the Fulanis, Tinubu and Saraki. And then we will ask.... Why were we this silly?

And before you quote me, make sure you outline in clear terms how you or Buhari will avert this obvious calamity staring us in the face

Only last week, they creek boys seem to have resumed activities by kidnapping at Yoho facility operated by Exxonmobil and have shut in 80KBD already. Are we ready for this for the next 4 years?

The entire world stands to benefit from a crisis in the Niger delta. Its not a coincidence that USA who abandoned us at the height of bokoharam is busy shouting for change in govt . Crises in the ND will reduce supply of crude to the Oil market and that would drive up the price of crude for producing countries.... But at Nigeria's expense.

Nigerians.... Be Warned!!!

You are a Great thinker Bro, keep it up. Nigerians should learn from masterpiece like this in fairness. I know we think like a third world country, but I pray for the Lord grant us swiftly the wisdom we need to make the right decision @ this 11st hour.

Jonathan is truly a democratic president.
If he were a bad man like the APC wants us to believe, he wouldn't have allowed the party to thrive.

GEJ is the quintessential Democrat.

You can say that again Bro. Wether we like it or hate. GEJ has really defined the true meaning of democracy in action for us. But I don't blame those who can't see for now. Remember we are still a 3rd world country and we are not yet wise & so fast grasp what we have not been used to!. Nothing to worry about, well we have really develop to at least 40% under GEJ's Admin subconciously, but it's painful and we must continue to move forward in spirit, cos many cannot see. I still dey pity us. #IWillNotAllowPoliticianToDecideMyFate.

Politics / Re: What Is Wrong With This Outfit Of President Jonathan? by realest247(m): 3:41am On Mar 13, 2015
tmotmo:

So many things are wrong with it.

Firstly, during the inner door initiation proceeding, he (Mr. President) must have been made to eat human part (they mostly give the preserved Heart of a recently deceased member of the fraternity for sharing).

And secondly, when he dies, no matter the level of security surrounding the person (be it current or ex-head of state), when the time comes, certain part(s) of his body must surely be requested for before the burial.

Thirdly, and beyond been a member, they will have other stringent and inhumanly requests like regular or occasional donation of human blood and other sacrifices.

On this thread, i noticed some comments like "ROF is better than Boko haram". I wish to disagree, as they are both senseless organization that enjoy the blood of innocent beings. The scales of their operations might differ, but killer is a killer!!!!

What an Authentic Christian President?
What a Genuine undiabolical Leader?

With what is playing out now as regard this coming election, All Nigerians should feel concern for the Tomorrow of our great grandchildren.

Let us assume that President Jonathan will win this election, Will he not vacate Aso Rock someday?
Why going these far?
Why allowing himself to be blindfolded to this level of getting initiated into ROF?
Why? Why? Why?
