No important federal appointment or employment is apporved without Nass scrutiny.

Eastern reps and Senateors are there at Nass, their mandate is to protect the interest of their region esp while such interest is backed by law.

If your senators are not complaining about east being deprived of their rightful share under federal character (and I don't think they have ever complained) then that's a representation failure.

But they thing is, if you want to do the maths based on the constitutional structure of Nigeria, the North should get way more federal appointments than the east notwithstanding the literacy rate in the east.

Because the fraudulent constitution was used to create way too many state and local govt areas for the north and these states and LGAs are not even fiscally viable.

But then, it is the basis for which they have more reps members and senators, and governors and ministers and the list goes on.
