Let me school you here, the landing cost of premium motor spirit ( PMS) also call Petrol is 172 Naira per litre ( according to NNPC 2018), while here in Nigeria, petrol are sold at 143 Naira per litre,now 172-143=29 Naira being paid as subsidy per litre, 29x50.32 millions litres being consumed a day in Nigeria =146.157billion Naira a month. Now multiply that figures by 12 months and see what Nigeria is spending on fuel subsidy.
Now, the criminality here is the inflated consumption figures per day. In 2014, Ngozi Iweala told us Nigerians consumed 30million liters per day when the economy was booming, Now when "Mr integrity " become the minister it was increased to 50.33 millions litres a day. That's the difference of 20.33million litres ✖ 29naira = 389.57 million Naira is being looted on daily basis by the ministry supervised by " Mr integrity.
