Good morning everybody, this thread should be a source of information and knowledge pertaining to this recruitment. But lately, we have been deviating a lot from that. Creating confusion and panic.

As we continue to pray and hope for a favorable outcome I have been doing some personal digging into what next after the appointment for GT. And I have found some insight into the training process that will follow. The outcome of my search is more engineering inclined though, it may not be the same for all fields.

Total recruitment = merit list + connection list

It's normal..no matter the amount of strictness or due process.. so connection list doesn't affect merit list..

FCC rules applies to your state of origin..the essence is to ensure the equitable capture of all Nigerians into government organisations ( diversity)..

With all due respect to other states..there are alot of book worms from Delta, Lagos, Ogun, Imo..it's a gift and a curse...so competition is high cos many people Sabi book..there for the bars and standards will be high for those states compared to states like ebonyi or zamfara...if your familiar with government in Nigeria u will no this..

Connections list cuts across anyone, anywhere ..

But connection list will also affect merit list right?

It's a no-brainer man...those states are highly competitive, they give government parastatals headache, from quiz competitions to waec results to militart and paramilitary exams etc...Deltans why una too sabi book self.

Each Member of the panel has his/her own score sheet.. I guess the chief panelist will be the one to collate the aggregate score. I saw the score of those guys that went in b4 me and most of the had at least 70.


According to the response to my question, they said they are working hard to submit results within two weeks.

The way those that have not been paid are even sounding one might think those that have been paid were the ones that “forcefully” asked NNPC to pay them. I’m even trying to console myself with “anti-Access theory” just from nowhere one person just posted; “for everyone that has received alert NNPC wishes you well in your future endeavors”.

Me I didn’t even receive up to 20k, I was just paid 16k(though I haven’t spent 1naira out of it because I don’t want the money, I never asked for it. Even if some people protested to be paid their tfare I’m not among them for God sake).

God please don’t let this 16k be my retirement benefit. How can I be retired even before I’m employed? God help your children, provide tfare alert for those that haven’t gotten yet because nobody trekked to the NNPC Towers. We all used one medium of transportation or the other hence everybody deserves to be paid.

I have leaned down between Tuesday night and today. My friends that saw me jubilating when the alert came in on Tuesday I promised to flex them on Friday, how can I flex them with money that I want to return?

Hmmm... Local man iyaf tired.. If you have a friend like me that have received alert please always checkup on them at least 3times a day, it’s very important.

If the Access theory is true, make dem send me my remaining 4K oo. Lemme count my money again..

But truth be told, the guy no try with the NNPC wishes you well in your future endeavors...if I don see alert d talk for shake me small

My "sauce" who works in NNPC (but not in HR) believes the recruitment will be concluded latest early next month. When I reminded him/her about approval by FCC, he/she said all that can be fasttracked.

Second info I got: 1000 GT and less than 500 EH will be hired.

So keep your fingers crossed. But pls don't crucify me if it doesn't turn out exactly accurate o. Things can change.

I didn't ask about correlation between TP and APL. God forbid. That kind of question can "fall one's rank". It will make me look like a fool.

Im yet to get, i interviewed on the 8th and the chief interviewer said they would submit the list to management before APL are sent to people. I dont think theyve done that in less than a week and have now gone ahead and sent the list to their various subsidiaries who have now started paying their upcoming staffs.

I did mine on the 1st...I even entered rain that evening. Apart from someone who says he has received from Abuja and its 10k which I dont believe seeing that Kaduna is 6k.

You should be checking your mtn or glo line for any N500 credit. Really sad how people will get 500 recharge instead of APL.

I totally agree with you. Once beaten twice shy; DPR's recruitment exercise looked legit from the beginning till things started happening.

NNPC's titter handle seems effective and efficient enough to disseminate the necessary information about the recruitment thus far; so we await the latest about the recently concluded exercise.

I think we should allow them do their thing. So far it is transparent, then no issues.

Them giving out a statement doesn't affect how transparent the exercise would be...they already know the number they want to accomodate and when we are to resume before the recruitment process started self. They were quick in providing info concerning CBT, one would think they would have done same with interview seeing that it ended since Thursday.

Am in no way discrediting them...they have really been efficient through out the recruitment process. They've lived up to their name no doubt...Started falling in love with them from my CBT seeing how organised it was. Apl is guaranteed by Gods grace.

NNPC by now should have made a press statement on this recruitment. How many was called, how many would get Apls and date they will start sending the letters across. This would ease up frayed nerves...everybody just dey believe any theory weh come up

My fears might be unfounded or maybe I’m just paranoid but once bitten twice shy. I’m not saying NNPC will do the same thing AccessBank does. I’m just sharing my own experience regarding refund of TP and I can confirm that some companies do use it to compensate those that come for their interview and not successful especially those not from the state the company is.

Your assertions are quite correct, we only hope NNPC doesn't do that

Since I heard NNPC is going to refund back TP, my mind went back to AccessBank frontline recruitment last year where they sent back TP. They didn’t send to my best friend and I was laughing only for him to get mail for next stage some weeks later. He’s working in AccessBank now.

So if na TP go cause APL issue I no want, make them keep ham.
