Kogi Group, under the umbrella of Ododo Ebigo Connect has on Friday solicited the support of the people of the state for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo (OAU) to ensure he wins the forthcoming November 11, 2023 Governorship election in Kogi. In addition, the group also called on the three major ethnic tribes to forge a united force through the domestication of mutual peace and progress toward success of the election. The Director General of the group, Comrade . AbdulGaniyu Okaraga Jimoh made this known on Friday during the official unveiling of ODODO EBIGO CONNECT in Lokoja. He mentioned that the word ‘EBIGO CONNECT symbolies “Ebira-Igala-Okun Connect” stressing that this in analysis means entrenching mutual Peace and progress amongst the three senatorial district of the state. He stated that he appreciate in no small measure the great and indefatigable members of the party who displayed their doggedness and utter resoluteness to ensure that their will in this election reigned supreme. His words, “All thanks to the leadership and every card-carrying member of our party for the smooth and peaceful conduct of our primary election that produced Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo as the Governorship candidate of the All Progress Congress (APC) for November 11 2023 gubernatorial poll. “Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is a humanitarian. He possesses leadership qualities that has made him outstanding, dependable in the discharge of his duties. Ododo in Igala language means “flower”. It also means same in Ebira language, and in Okun language it means “Truth” This is indeed a clear testament of the potentiality and validity of the Name, and what we should be expecting at the long run. The group thanked the Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the party members for finding Alhaji Ododo worthy and reposing such confidence in him to fly the flag of the party.

adinoyi360:You even get time to exchange words with that boy. In as much as I want equity, Its bad that Dino is what okun could produced. Had it been a reasonable person got the ticket from okun, it would have make sense. For now, Ododo may likely win! |
BlueRayDick:Well, if that's all. I'm probably right then. I prefer my loneliness, freedom and peace to whatever marriage offers! |
BlueRayDick:Is that all ![]() |
seankafor:Well, in as much as I respect those who are married and things are working fine for them in their marriage, kudos to them!, I will not hesitate to point out the fact that The whole concept of marriage does not add up to me honestly. What's the point of marriage? What if I refuse to marry?. Away from religion, I don't see the point of marriage honestly? I mean, must I marry before the society accept me? What's the point of marriage? To fulfil rightousness? To be part of society? To what extent sef? To show I'm a man? I mean, to be recognised as a responsible individual? The whole concept of marriage is the reason for all these shenanigans of feminist brouhaha. When I readi, I bring the damn children to the world without marriage or being married. Make ah enjoy my little freedom, privacy and security small. |
BlueRayDick:Buhari and good leader should not be in the same sentence! It's just bad that we ended up with a sadist like him. I can't wait for that failure to leave the seat for Jagaban. Can someone just pay that old man for the remaining days? We need fresh air ahbeg! |
BlueRayDick:Lolz. This woman get bad mouth ahswear. Always with hot temper! Make she dy calm down small now. |
Ibukzy:Interesting!!! I will search for that. |
Ibukzy:Are you serious? How? When? |
Incognito9:Pathetic!!! |
BlueRayDick:Bro, that mannequin for Aso rock no dy hear word. I'm not try to exonerate Malami and other slowpokes but believe me, that man too get stubborn head. To me, he just wants flex with our money and protect his fulani interests at the detriment of our lives. He doesn't just care! After galvanised the whole world snapping and smiling to the camera , what he could come up in that situation was grazing route? providing more Avenue for the blood thirsty animals to unleash their wickedness on us?? Malami and co Can only do the bidding of mr Dullard himself, so i wasn't surprised that he asked us to adopt that archaic method. May Buhari never happens to us again. |
BlueRayDick: The bolded dy always vex me ahswear. Grazing route in 2023 is just too Archaic and unhealthy. |
GloriousGbola:Honestly, I don't understand the strategies or if these guys even have an approach to tackling insecurities. They seem to be so redundant using one approach to solving different problems and end up complicating it more. Ahswear, ayam tayad!!! |
Ahbeg make our moon come out now? Everything in Nigeria don turn agidi. For moon to show now, nah wahala |
ozo13:Etemeya dah? |
Dear Hon. Usman Ahmed Ododo, I offer my congratulations to you on your emergence as the candidate of our great party in the November 11, Kogi State Gubernatorial Election. Your triumph at the primary is widely seen by many as placing a round peg in a round hole at this auspicious time and I have no single doubt in your ability to deliver and reposition the state to become one of those to be reckoned with in Nigeria. You are a thoroughbred professional, a goal getter and a passionate Kogite who is ever committed in setting positive standard and I know that you will replicate it and excel in your current engagement. My profound thanks to the Government of Kogi State led by His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello for finding you worthy and reposing such confidence in you to fly the flag of our party . larride:Nope Onoja is from kogi east. Nah the newly annointed candidate from kogi central. |
larride:Nope. He is from kogi central. He wants the central to rule for 16 years to equate the east Meanwhile West has never rule the state. Such is the pathetic case of kogi state. |
OasisX:Yes @ the bolded. Bello is wicked and very stubborn. The only difference is media focusing on wike compare to Bello. Forget it, anyone that followed his second term election, will know that the guy can do anything to win elections. Onoja just advised his followers to be happy, not to be depressed, that as far there is life and they are healthy, they should be thanking God. That's the best he can do. You don't mess up with that bello when you talk about election. He can kill and destroy your property and term it security measure. |
OasisX:Bello is anyhow person. He simply wants someone he can control, manipulate and make sure that his sins were never exposed. I knew all along that he will never allow Onoja. Because he knows the guy stubborn and rugged just like him. He can never bend to his will. What took me by surprise is his choice of Ododo. We were all expecting Pharm Asuku but unknown to us, he was looking for a puppet. Now we have another dummy waiting to be rigged in. We have no formidable oppositions in kogi state that could present someone reasonable. His choice of picking his kingman is a bad one I think. You don't expect progress on the alter of injustice. But what do I know? |
BY Hon. ABDULMUMIN DANGA, COMMISSIONER FOR WATER RESOURCES, KOGI STATE. As uncertainty lingers in the minds of Kogites, I must as a matter of concern share lights in getting the indigenes informed about the Man, Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku. fathoming About an erudite and a proficient personality like Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, a man birthed with unequal and unmatched characteristic becomes imperative. The philosophy of this humble soul can't be overemphasized as he had proved exceptionality in all spheres of his life. His humility, respect and untainted love for the destitute remains the totem of how I drew my conclusions about him. A clear definition of an Enigma of hope is here! Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku is an indomitable and enterprising figure to recon with in the political evolution of Kogi State.. He's an embodiment of vitality, akin with impeccable character. He's indeed a factual proof of knowledge and wisdom. The dynasty of his trait is Beacon on genuine concern in entrenching normalcy and maligning retrogression, and this had actually been his watchword from inception. As I clamour for continuity of youth in Lugard House, I want to briefly draw our mind to historical facts about some celebrated world legends that has made our history Book. History is replete with the story of young people who changed the cause of their time. William Wilberforce, an English politician, was the leader of the movement which abolished slave trade. He started his political career at the age of 21years in 1780 and headed the Parliamentary campaign against the British slave trade for twenty-six years until the passage of the Slave Trade Act in 1807. Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first black president was a young lawyer who became an anti-apartheid revolutionary politician, at a young age. His activities led to the eventual dismantling of apartheid in South Africa. In religion, politics and activism, Mary Slessor, a young Scottish Missionary, promoted women’s rights and eventually succeeded in stopping the killing of twins in Calabar. Young Florence Nightingale, a British Social reformer, was a nurse during the Crimean War and later became the founder of modern nursing. These are just a few examples of what youths can do. The recent of those collections is our very own pacesetter, leader, mentor and father of Kogi politics, His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello. The man who change the dynamics of Kogi politics and the break the jinx of disunity, political instability and social imbalance amongst the ethno-tribal affiliations in the state. Considering the highlighted areas, it is most suitable and promising for a youth-Like breed to continue holding the baton of leadership, And it can only be ASUKU. He epitomizes all it takes to lead and to lead right; And apparently, Majority of Kogites are pleased with his style of leadership. Fast forward to the primary election of our great party, I Implore the party hierachy, the delegates and every other relevant stakeholders to prioritize the prosperity of state above every other interest by giving us Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku. God has bountiful ways of paying good deeds and I believe he won't forsake him. Continue waxing stronger in the spirit of determination and courage. I'm optimistic of a smooth landing of his political trajectory by being sworn in as the next Executive Governor of Kogi State come January 27th, 2024. |
Donjazet2:Sure bro. We will get justice for the wuruwuru that took place in Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Anambra states. We hope the court get it acts right and send the clown and yeye bello to prison where they deserve. Radarada everywhere!!! |
Donjazet2:Quit all these validations and cry cry. You will only wound your health. For kogi state, for presidential election, the party men did their work from ward level. They made sure their members voted for their party candidate as it has been what they have been echoing before then. Every party agents was in the polling unit and these are people that know each other. So, it was kind of game of numbers between them. The only problem was the senate where the the power from above did everything to make sure their puppet won. The only states we can fault are Rivers, Anambra, Abia and Enugu. When we get to the court, we will get our true numbers from those states too. The margin is too small for reality! |
monerozi5590:You can say that again. |
Ah dy 2300..... |
liveLongNprospa:You will never see or hear concrete actions, efforts being done on issues like this. But if nah yeye issue or treason matter now, you go dy hear radarada lenu lai muhammed and the mannequin for Aso rock go won flex muscle. For God sake, these are human beings, being massacre almost every day and we all assumed everything is fine? What kind of government is this? |
OasisX:You're doing well sir |
seankafor:Another angle;!! |
OasisX:Lolx....... |
In my voyage of discovery as a student of history, we've not had a resourceful, vibrant and active Chief of staff in Kogi State like Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku. His imprints are the Hallmark of achievements recorded by the administration of Alh Yahaya Bello. I didn't just rise to my submission, but rather, Extensive and inward evaluation of records and antecedents birthed and shaped my verdict. Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has exemplified himself and he stands tall amongst his contemporaries. A review of his stewardship as the Chief of Staff is an eye opener to the entire kogites of his leadership acumen and the validity of his God-gifted prowess in the realm of governance. The achievements recorded by this administration hitherto to his emergence as the Chief of Staff will as well play a pivotal role in guilding our assertions about him. Undoubtedly, Bello's thunderous achievements can best be traced to his second tenure in office, and the brain that necessitated and influenced the laudable achievements that silenced Bello's critics is Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku. This Man is not only youthful and useful with galaxy of leadership qualities but rather, the surest plug that can navigate Kogi state to a pedestal of greatness. He meddled in to entrench the prosperity of the state, He's so much acquainted with the modern day driven projections that can help to consolidate the efforts of Yahaya Bello's led administration. Craving for a youthful governor is most needed at this moment of our history as a state. Governor Yahaya Bello being a youth has successfully aggravated the fortune of the state, and this precedence can best be complemented by a breed alike; And Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku can only be seen as the answer. This man's acceptability by the younger generation can't be overemphasized. Many has attained life sustainability through his gestures. He prioritize human capital development, which is basically the best achievement widely acceptable. He leverage on the ideas of conniving with best brains to bring developments, and he was able to do this devoid of sentiments or affiliations of any kind. He's indeed a bridge builder and a detribalize leader like his Boss, Alh. Yahaya Bello. Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has been a quintessential leader, an astute personality, a pan African and an indomitable figure in the present day kogi politics. Many tagged him as one of the most proficient politician from the central extraction of Kogi state courtesy of his present political engagements. His humanitarian lifestyle has been exemplary. He possesses leadership qualities that has made him outstanding and dependable in the discharge of his duties. He is committed, dedicated, result-driven and diplomatic leader, and has shown absolute transparency, Prudency, Accountability and leadership skills during his roles as the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government. He knows his onions and he has always lived up to it, serving his dear State as the Chief of staff, with tenacity, and with dignity. Kogi Youths in entirety should rise up to the challenge by joining forces with me to bring this enigma of hope to steer the state for another round of determined administration. I want to use this moment to plead with His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello to consider him as the best and most sellable option that will not only give the party a resounding victory at the poll but also another phase of purposeful leadership that will further Integrate his strides. *COMRD.JEGEDE ONOTU ABDULAZEEZ* _STATE YOUTH LEADER TO YAHAYA BELLO NETWORK(YBN)_
