PoliticsKogi: Ebigo Connect Calls For Synergy To Deliver Ododo In Forthcoming Election. by reccy(op): 7:55am On May 06, 2023
Kogi Group, under the umbrella of Ododo Ebigo Connect has on Friday solicited the support of the people of the state for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo (OAU) to ensure he wins the forthcoming November 11, 2023 Governorship election in Kogi.

In addition, the group also called on the three major ethnic tribes to forge a united force through the domestication of mutual peace and progress toward success of the election.

The Director General of the group, Comrade . AbdulGaniyu Okaraga Jimoh made this known on Friday during the official unveiling of ODODO EBIGO CONNECT in Lokoja.

He mentioned that the word ‘EBIGO CONNECT symbolies “Ebira-Igala-Okun Connect” stressing that this in analysis means entrenching mutual Peace and progress amongst the three senatorial district of the state.

He stated that he appreciate in no small measure the great and indefatigable members of the party who displayed their doggedness and utter resoluteness to ensure that their will in this election reigned supreme.

His words, “All thanks to the leadership and every card-carrying member of our party for the smooth and peaceful conduct of our primary election that produced Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo as the Governorship candidate of the All Progress Congress (APC) for November 11 2023 gubernatorial poll.

“Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is a humanitarian. He possesses leadership qualities that has made him outstanding, dependable in the discharge of his duties. He is committed, dedicated, result-driven and diplomatic leader, and has shown absolute transparency, Prudency, Accountability and leadership skills during recent roles as the Auditor General of Local Government

“He’s a thoroughbred professional, a goal getter and a passionate Kogites who is ever committed in setting positive standard and we know that he will replicate it and excel in his current engagement.

“Interestingly, the peculiarity of the name “Ododo” amongst the three major ethnic groups of the state commands an atmosphere of hope to our people. Ododo in Igala language means “flower”. It also means same in Ebira language, and in Okun language it means “Truth” This is indeed a clear testament of the potentiality and validity of the Name, and what we should be expecting at the long run.

The group thanked the Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the party members for finding Alhaji Ododo worthy and reposing such confidence in him to fly the flag of the party.

Most of us young guys wants to build an empire and brand before thinking of anything marriage.. and when we have built this, it's the highway 🛣️ or nothing.. no settling for less

Personally, I'll like to have my own house 🏠, multiple streams of income and good good life before anything marriage.. and I only have until 35 to life to do these embarassed

If all these are done before 35 and I get to marry, good and fine..

But after 35, that's when I'll start putting having kids as my topmost scale of preference (not necessarily marriage)..
Well, in as much as I respect those who are married and things are working fine for them in their marriage, kudos to them!, I will not hesitate to point out the fact that The whole concept of marriage does not add up to me honestly. What's the point of marriage? What if I refuse to marry?. Away from religion, I don't see the point of marriage honestly? I mean, must I marry before the society accept me? What's the point of marriage? To fulfil rightousness? To be part of society? To what extent sef? To show I'm a man? I mean, to be recognised as a responsible individual?

The whole concept of marriage is the reason for all these shenanigans of feminist brouhaha.

When I readi, I bring the damn children to the world without marriage or being married.

All this one U are saying is what the government would have u believe ; if u discuss with people from the affected areas u will be surprised they know and are very sure who their enemies are .The only thing stopping them atimes from resorting to self help is the fear of security forces coming after them when shiiit hits the fan.

This was the same way the Fulani militia were attacking villages and towns in the oke-Ogun areas part of Oyo state like Igangan and co. The people were always reporting the attrocities and waiting like sitting ducks without the authorities coming to their rescue . I watched a video of a man who had his two hands amputated because he was working on his farm when the Fulani militia came calling . The man narrated how they rid him of his arms.

The moment sunday Igboho armed the hunters/vigilantes , they went overboard in trying to protect their people and we all saw how the government came for him with full force.

And finally a government that is interested in security solution will not take the kind of position Federal government is taking on this Falana herdsmen issues. They won’t be talking about grazing routes of 1960’s as a solution to problems in 2023

The bolded dy always vex me ahswear.

It is called asymmetrical warfare. Or in the case of actual occupation a resistance movement.

It cannot be solved using conventional warfare.

An intelligence gathering/infiltration approach is required here.

I am not sure the government realizes this yet.

What took me by surprise is his choice of Ododo. We were all expecting Pharm Asuku but unknown to us, he was looking for a puppet. Now we have another dummy waiting to be rigged in.

We have no formidable oppositions in kogi state that could present someone reasonable.

His choice of picking his kingman is a bad one I think. You don't expect progress on the alter of injustice. But what do I know?

BY Hon. ABDULMUMIN DANGA, COMMISSIONER FOR WATER RESOURCES, KOGI STATE.

As uncertainty lingers in the minds of Kogites, I must as a matter of concern share lights in getting the indigenes informed about the Man, Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku.

fathoming About an erudite and a proficient personality like Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, a man birthed with unequal and unmatched characteristic becomes imperative.

The philosophy of this humble soul can't be overemphasized as he had proved exceptionality in all spheres of his life. His humility, respect and untainted love for the destitute remains the totem of how I drew my conclusions about him.

A clear definition of an Enigma of hope is here! Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku is an indomitable and enterprising figure to recon with in the political evolution of Kogi State..

He's an embodiment of vitality, akin with impeccable character. He's indeed a factual proof of knowledge and wisdom. The dynasty of his trait is Beacon on genuine concern in entrenching normalcy and maligning retrogression, and this had actually been his watchword from inception.

As I clamour for continuity of youth in Lugard House, I want to briefly draw our mind to historical facts about some celebrated world legends that has made our history Book.

History is replete with the story of young people who changed the cause of their time. William Wilberforce, an English politician, was the leader of the movement which abolished slave trade. He started his political career at the age of 21years in 1780 and headed the Parliamentary campaign against the British slave trade for twenty-six years until the passage of the Slave Trade Act in 1807.

Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first black president was a young lawyer who became an anti-apartheid revolutionary politician, at a young age. His activities led to the eventual dismantling of apartheid in South Africa.

In religion, politics and activism, Mary Slessor, a young Scottish Missionary, promoted women’s rights and eventually succeeded in stopping the killing of twins in Calabar.

Young Florence Nightingale, a
British Social reformer, was a nurse during the Crimean War and later became the founder of
modern nursing. These are just a few examples of what youths can do.

The recent of those collections is our very own pacesetter, leader, mentor and father of Kogi politics, His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello. The man who change the dynamics of Kogi politics and the break the jinx of disunity, political instability and social imbalance amongst the ethno-tribal affiliations in the state.

Considering the highlighted areas, it is most suitable and promising for a youth-Like breed to continue holding the baton of leadership, And it can only be ASUKU. He epitomizes all it takes to lead and to lead right; And apparently, Majority of Kogites are pleased with his style of leadership.

Fast forward to the primary election of our great party, I Implore the party hierachy, the delegates and every other relevant stakeholders to prioritize the prosperity of state above every other interest by giving us Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku.

God has bountiful ways of paying good deeds and I believe he won't forsake him. Continue waxing stronger in the spirit of determination and courage. I'm optimistic of a smooth landing of his political trajectory by being sworn in as the next Executive Governor of Kogi State come January 27th, 2024.

I've been seeing this meme for a while now with the inscription "it wasn't rigged, you're just a sore loser".

I want to ask every Batist here, every APC supporter on this thread, is there anyone of you who believe that there was no rigging in this election?

Do any of you actually have the conviction that election results were not manipulated?? I'm curious to know the answer to this.

Because I'm very confused whenever I see that picture saying "it wasn't rigged, you're just a sore loser“. I know the picture originates from America where maga believe their election were rigged for Biden but don't actually provide substancial evidence for this.

Do any Batist however genuinely believe the same is applicable to Nigeria's election?
Quit all these validations and cry cry. You will only wound your health. For kogi state, for presidential election, the party men did their work from ward level. They made sure their members voted for their party candidate as it has been what they have been echoing before then. Every party agents was in the polling unit and these are people that know each other. So, it was kind of game of numbers between them.

The only problem was the senate where the the power from above did everything to make sure their puppet won.

The only states we can fault are Rivers, Anambra, Abia and Enugu.

When we get to the court, we will get our true numbers from those states too.

The margin is too small for reality!

In my voyage of discovery as a student of history, we've not had a resourceful, vibrant and active Chief of staff in Kogi State like Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku. His imprints are the Hallmark of achievements recorded by the administration of Alh Yahaya Bello.

I didn't just rise to my submission, but rather, Extensive and inward evaluation of records and antecedents birthed and shaped my verdict. Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has exemplified himself and he stands tall amongst his contemporaries.

A review of his stewardship as the Chief of Staff is an eye opener to the entire kogites of his leadership acumen and the validity of his God-gifted prowess in the realm of governance. The achievements recorded by this administration hitherto to his emergence as the Chief of Staff will as well play a pivotal role in guilding our assertions about him. Undoubtedly, Bello's thunderous achievements can best be traced to his second tenure in office, and the brain that necessitated and influenced the laudable achievements that silenced Bello's critics is Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku.

This Man is not only youthful and useful with galaxy of leadership qualities but rather, the surest plug that can navigate Kogi state to a pedestal of greatness. He meddled in to entrench the prosperity of the state, He's so much acquainted with the modern day driven projections that can help to consolidate the efforts of Yahaya Bello's led administration.

Craving for a youthful governor is most needed at this moment of our history as a state. Governor Yahaya Bello being a youth has successfully aggravated the fortune of the state, and this precedence can best be complemented by a breed alike; And Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku can only be seen as the answer.

This man's acceptability by the younger generation can't be overemphasized. Many has attained life sustainability through his gestures. He prioritize human capital development, which is basically the best achievement widely acceptable.

He leverage on the ideas of conniving with best brains to bring developments, and he was able to do this devoid of sentiments or affiliations of any kind. He's indeed a bridge builder and a detribalize leader like his Boss, Alh. Yahaya Bello.

Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku has been a quintessential leader, an astute personality, a pan African and an indomitable figure in the present day kogi politics. Many tagged him as one of the most proficient politician from the central extraction of Kogi state courtesy of his present political engagements.

His humanitarian lifestyle has been exemplary. He possesses leadership qualities that has made him outstanding and dependable in the discharge of his duties. He is committed, dedicated, result-driven and diplomatic leader, and has shown absolute transparency, Prudency, Accountability and leadership skills during his roles as the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government.

He knows his onions and he has always lived up to it, serving his dear State as the Chief of staff, with tenacity, and with dignity.

Kogi Youths in entirety should rise up to the challenge by joining forces with me to bring this enigma of hope to steer the state for another round of determined administration.

I want to use this moment to plead with His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello to consider him as the best and most sellable option that will not only give the party a resounding victory at the poll but also another phase of purposeful leadership that will further Integrate his strides.
