Crime › Cases Of Murder Are Now On The Increase In Delta State by Recognise(op): 11:45am On Oct 23, 2009

CASES of murder are now on the in-crease in Delta State, with eight persons arrested in connection with killing of one person or another.

Five boys were, on Monday, arrested by the police for the murder of a 22-year-old Ovie Udi at Eku, near Abraka.

Also a girl, identified as Patience Nwakor, is now in police net for killing her mother at Agbor Alisimie in Ika South of Delta State, while a man also allegedly shot his sister dead at Emede in Isoko.

Security sources gave the names of the boys who murdered the said Ovie Udi as Blessing Enaghinor, Monday Akem, Augustine Umukoro, Tive Obawofe and Umukoro Peter.

The deceased was said to have been stabbed to death by the suspects during a scuffle at Eku over an undisclosed matter.

Also, Patience Nwakor was arrested by police at Agbor for matcheting her mother, Mrs. Kate Nwakor, recently.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the lady hacked the mother to death, following an argument.

Germany's football stars have been warned to expect to wear bullet-proof vests at next summer's World Cup in South Africa.

The head of a security firm said players, like Michael Ballack, would need such protection if they ventured away from the team's Pretoria hotel amid safety fears.

Guenter Schnelle from BaySecur said: "The possibility for the players of moving outside of the hotel boundaries should be kept to a minimum."

"Otherwise there must be a full escort: armed security guards and bullet-proof vests for the players," he told German magazine Sport-Bild.

BaySecur looks after the German Football Federation (DFB) and their guests when the national team plays away from Germany.

It is one of the firms expected to be employed by the DFB while the team is involved in the tournament which begins on June 11.

The final will be held on July 11 at Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium.

The DFB is already looking to step up security around the team's five-star hotel and is set to recruit 20 extra security guards.

There are also worries about security at the Brazil World Cup in 2014.

Due to the high crime rates in South Africa, the DFB is taking no risks, its security boss Helmut Spahn has said.

Private bodyguards will protect the players both in and around the Velmore Grande hotel in the province of Gauteng.

"We will probably use more personnel than we would normally have," said Mr Spahn, who will spend four days in South Africa next week looking at security arrangements.

"We need to first of all get an idea of what security arrangements are already in place for both the team and the media.

"Then we will decide whether to improve the security measures or whether they are sufficient."

According to Mr Spahn, there is little chance the DFB will rely only on local security guards in South Africa and Germany's federal police force are in talks with the DFB on the issue.

What you mean is western Christianity which spread to other parts of the world was institutionalized in Rome.

There were other christian churches that were never descent from the RCC infact they ran parrallely to it in the acncient times and some of them still exist today. Examples are, Coptic church in Egypt, Ethopian Orthodox church, Greek catholic church and the Syrian Orthodox church. These are all christian churches whose roots are not traceable to Rome.

The label Christianity (i.e. christian) was coined in the Roman empire which Judea and Israel were subjected to.

Under his rule, Christianity rose to become the dominant religion in the Roman Empire,

and for his example of a "Christian monarch" he is revered as a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church and Oriental Orthodox Church.

Periodic is kind of correct in making that statement by way of deduction and reasoning if Psalms 9:17 is considered

Psalms 9:17(KJV):
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Psalms 9:17 (AMP):
The wicked shall be turned back [headlong into premature death] into Sheol (the place of the departed spirits of the wicked),

even all the nations that forget or are forgetful of God.

Visions to run with oftentimes emanate from dreams. The statement ". . . Youths are the future generation. They the ones that will carry the gospel to places. . . " obviously was attributed to scriptures such as Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17

I had a dream that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

The angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said,

“This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayers are received.”

I looked around the area, It was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, “This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and dispatched to be delivered to the living persons who asked for them”

I couldn’t help not noticing again how busy it was here too. There were many determined angels tirelessly working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there. The angel was idle, unused doing nothing.

Seemingly embarrassed, the angel guide quietly disclosed to me “This is the Feedback & Acknowledgment Section”

“How is it that there is no work going on here? “ I asked

“'So sad,” the angel sighed.

“After people receive the blessings they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments” the angel added

“How does one acknowledge God's blessings” I asked?

“”Simple! Just say, “Thank you, Lord”” the angel answered.

“'What blessings should they acknowledge? “ I then asked

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy and

If you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who hasn’t that opportunity.

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness . . . You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day.

If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation . . . You are ahead of 700 million people in the world.

Well if you somehow stumbled on this message and managed to read this much and far, you’ve just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Pass the message along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

Keep in mind that Covetousness is lusting (i.e. uncontrollable desire) after what your neighbor (i.e. another person) has, which paves way for Temptation to focus on what you don’t have which then leads to ignoring what God previously has given you, coupled with having no Appreciation & Thankfulness for the blessing(s)
