Ira equally Government duty to provide us with steady electricity and water but many of us if not all of us are not waiting for Government to give us all of that, we re doing it for ourselves. My point is it doesn't make sense building a very big and fine mansion in your village while the road to your house is very ugly, if you can build a very fine mansion in yiur village, you can equally make the road that leads to your house look good at least.

The day I ll invite my friends here in SA to my village, I ll make sure that everything is almost perfect. I can't invite my friends to ugly environment.

is the road now your problem? how many peoples village roads are tarred? my own village road is not tarred and there are mansions sitting around and no one is actually complaining, you know why, the untarred road is a symbol of part of the things that males the village, village.. if all the village roads are tarred, then we are already in township or not? why not say the same thing about some places in Lekki that have nice houses, the owners should tarr the road since their have money to build nice houses, does that make sense to you? Let us not forget that it is the sole responsibility of the govt to provide amenities, dont blame an individual because you think he is capable and did not do it. it is not his job.

someone was also saying yea "was it not better to Tarr it and name it after her", where i am from, a road was not tarred for many years by the many families competing to tarr it just so their names could be on it. it was a big battle for many years, all other roads connecting to it had been fully tarred.

you people should leave the young man as you can see he was not the one spending the money there, people did it on his behalf. this is how it is with rich individuals, even in families that are wealthy or not, when there is somehing to be done, every clan connected to the family has some form of contribution to make towards that event. Obis case was no different.
