Their next port of call may be southern Nigeria.

Of course you don't care now until it happens to you, or someone close to you. That's when you turn into panic mode.
i'm sure no lady in her right mind wants to raise a bastard. you're not suggesting they sleep with any random dog, are you?
The word bastard is so old school and is no more in use now. Where were you? planet Uranus?. Kids dont say, I am a bastard, they tell you my mum is a single mother.

I have learnt that Nigerian girls can dominate men using their feminist ways.
I have also learnt that Nigerian men really do believe that we should be as oppressed as the women in the older generations.
Don't try it in Nigeria o because he will hire area boys to beat daylight out of you and even throw you out from the very house you built together.

Na yam? True talk ma brov. They will change their attitudes once the infamous clock of biology starts ticking.
Gone are the days when men threaten women with biology clock. It's so over used and lame undecided.

What do you mean by interacting problems?
CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 7:07am On Nov 27, 2008
Assault and battery is not exclusive to Nigerian society alone, so I don't think that argument works well in your favor. Men who maltreat their wives are sick bastards. The country itself didn't implement a law enforcing wife abuse.
True its not exclusive to Nigeria alone but Nigeria as a nation in most cases accepts it as a norm and that is why the govt is doing nothing about it. Why not enact laws that will protect Nigerian women from the hands of Nigerian men?. A law that will protect their rights to a property, rights to the children and their rights to get justice when raped?

I maybe wrong but I think our ancestors here doing just fine before the educated white man came to our shores with his modern era.
You are so wrong. They weren't doing alright and i dont see the reason why we should let dead people dictate to us how we should live our lives when we didn't control theirs. Those ancestors of yours treated women like scumbags, is that what you want for your sister in 2009?
CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 7:01am On Nov 27, 2008
of course, funmilayo.

so what made you think sisi jinx is tribalist?
You haven't read some of her threads where she is mocking the yorubas and their accent. If you talk, her defense will be I am half yoruba and half Zulu. Half yoruba my ass.
CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 6:59am On Nov 27, 2008
Policies imposed by the constituion which is agreed upon by "we the people" - namely men and women. You have a problem with Nigerian women in Nigeria because they're not super obsessed with liberalism like you Akatanized copycats are.
Who agreed upon which policy?. You are smiling now because you are favored. Don't worry, when this revolution come to Nigeria, you will cry me a river. You have sisters o.
CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 6:58am On Nov 27, 2008
America is not a product of rebellious hormonal women either. The problem with Nigeria the corrupt bastards at the lead, not the innocent female populace.
Corrupt leaders are not the ones that advised most Nigerian men to beat their wives, stifle them for their cash, treat them like slaves and rape them. Don't blame the govt on this one, blame the culture that belittles women and see them as a by product of kangaroos.
CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 6:55am On Nov 27, 2008
now dnt go there, funmi.
If I want to, I can post up to 100 tribal topics from you.
The miseducation of Ebony!. Those topics were either the truth or prying questions going through my mind. When did saying the truth become tribalism?. I even offered to start my NGO in the north to liberate their women from the shackles of poverty, illiteracy and their men but nobody gave me an applause for that, rather the likes of jinx rebuffed me.

CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 6:50am On Nov 27, 2008
Is it the same policy that has been working for our ancestors
Which policy?. That is why Nigeria is underdeveloped because you apply the economic and social policies of your uneducated ancestors to this modern era.
FamilyRe: Best Thing You Ever Did For Your Family by RedHotChic(op): 6:48am On Nov 27, 2008
well usually, it's when a certain sibling is either married or well established, that's when they take it upon themselves to pay for the other sibling;'s school/upkeep.
Not in every case. Some start suffering early in life. Its not everybody here that has a daddy and mummy living in NY besides, some marry as early as 18 in order to help their family financially.

No mind am. She thinks women living in Nigeria are inferior to her because they abide by the policies that work for them.
Better still its policies that WORK FOR YOUR SELFISH BEHIND.

CultureRe: New Cultures You Learnt From Nairaland. by RedHotChic(op): 6:37am On Nov 27, 2008
I'm not generalizing, but most girls in Nigeria are humble and will treat you like royalty, but the girls here talk too much and don't take nonsence
More like Nigerian women living in Nigeria are ignorant of their rights, thats why they take rubbish from men. Nigerian women abroad are wiser and that is why some Naija men feel threatened by the light in them.

FamilyRe: Best Thing You Ever Did For Your Family by RedHotChic(op): 6:11am On Nov 27, 2008
You dont have to be 40 to do those things. If you are foregoing your career and education at 40, it means you had none before because your life is pretty much over. Some did it at 18.
FamilyRe: Best Thing You Ever Did For Your Family by RedHotChic(op): 4:17am On Nov 27, 2008
Nobody here gave up education or career so that his/her siblings can go to school?

Nobody here has no savings because his/her siblings have to be maintained?
