Please go and ask Oyinbo men. This is not a question for Nigerian brothers, apart from the odd deviant.
Don't we have many many odd deviants in Naija?

Let me know when you finish getting worked up. The name 'christ' happened to be a title and no specialty attached to it. We also have in the bible where non-living things were referred to as same?
Where exactly in the bible did they refer Christ as a non living thing? Could it be the same place you people saw the bible refer Jesus Christ as a prophet?

Question:

Why the proliferation of homosexuality among men? Could it be that we women do not appeal to many of you again or is it more of an adventurous thing?

Jesus (AS). AS is an abbreviated form of "alayhi salatu wasalam". It means "Peace of God be upon him" . We , muslims, say this blessings whenever we hear or mention a prophet's name.
Jesus was not a prophet. He was the messiah and you people should stop mixing Him up with prophets. Elijah, Elisha etc were prophets just like we have TB Joshua today.

@Ayinba,
Jesus (AS)
What is the meaning of the AS in Jesus? I didn't notice that before. Clarify please.

Is this "Jesus (AS)" a messiah?

Please go and ask King Solomon. If the wisest man in history could lose his rationale at the sight of toto, then who am I, a mere commoner to go against Gods natural law?
So because Solomon was a sucker for women, you can now relax and be a "sucker squared" for us?

But Ike shorunu the goal receiver.
What is goal receiver? Have you forgotten that Mutiu adepoju was the head master like michael ballack? I also wonder why nobody is voting Yekini after all he did for Nigeria. Emmanuel Amunike may also be a contender.

TV/Movies › Re: Why Are Yoruba Films Are So Full Of Juju? by RedHotChic(f): 6:40pm On Jul 06, 2008
No, it is not going into extinction any time soon.
The movies showcase everything present in our culture. There are movies geared towards christianity, witchery, and so forth. They are already adjusted accordingly.
Whatever! how many yoruba christians still believe in juju? It's the non yoruba christians that still practice that thing abeg and we have more christians in yorubaland than any other religious group so do the math.

So his skin color may have been a more mideastern tone
Mid eastern tone? There were black jews, dark indians, light skinned arabs and white jews?.
Christianity Etc › What Color Was Jesus? by RedHotChic(op): 6:26pm On Jul 06, 2008
So many black christians in America argue that Jesus was black, some white christians maintain that he was white while others claim that he was Arabic or something close to that and this controversial issue is becoming so deep that it has taken away the important message from the cross because most christians here are fixated on color and whether there was a "white" propaganda in presenting Jesus to the world. A friend told me this morning that it's very important we christians find the real truth b/c he is convinced that Jesus was black. Is this really important? Does it matter whether Jesus was blue, red, white or black? What do you think was his color from your own perspective? Why is the christian world making a big deal out of it? cry cry cry cry cry cry

But it is important you acknowledge the prevalence of juju in yoruba culture.
Wouldn't it be better to say that juju is going into extinction in yorubaland due to the prevalence of fire brand christianity? Our movie makers should put that into perspective and present their stories accordingly.

Unless you have some really uber-thick glasses that hinder your sight, I don't see how you can disprove the existence of juju in the yoruba tradition. EVen if they aren't the first people to practice it, the koko is that they practice it.
Am not denying the fact that there is juju in yorubaland but what the yoruba movies are telling other tribes in Nigeria and some younger yoruba generation that are alien to the culture is that juju is widely practiced and is the crux of every day living among yoruba people. i've heard non yoruba people make such sly comments to me before and it wasn't preety on me. Don't ibos and hausas practice juju? Why will you put it like juju is a yoruba trademark? Let me make it clear to you that in my immediate family, we don't practice juju.

Question:
I've heard numerous times that a man's mind can go blank for a minute. How true is that? if that is not true, how come some men lose their sense of judgment anytime they see a naked woman?. Their whole common sense is gorged in their stiff weenie and they are only focused on dipping it inside the honey pot even if the honey pot is tattooed "death hole" with a bold red ink. Could it be one of the episodes of their blank mind?

Even with such a law it is doubtful the Nigerian police want to get involved in domestic disputes. Face it, those you are relying on to pass the law are probably guilty of bullying their own wives. don't bet on it.
It's not going to be easy but we'll surely get there. If you don't have such stringent laws in Nigeria, men will continue to abuse women there until the end of time.

Do women need a new bill? When they need a divorce they use the courts to get a restraining order to keep the poor fellow away from the very house he bought . . . so what else do you want? The power to call the cops to beat him up?
I meant in Nigeria. Women do not have such powers in Naija and it's very disheartening.

That's you, may be you sue supernatural powers to quell your anger. Remember that anger is a temporary insanity.

Question II:
Guys, putting into consideration the rate at which some men resident in Nigeria come back home drunk and abuse their wife/ves and children, will you support the house if they come up with a new bill that will allow women to use cops to remove them from that house or even take them to jail if they
either resist arrest or put their hands on their wife/ves? Remember that you are a good religious and upright man before you make this decision.
Romance › Re: Askmen.com II by RedHotChic(op): 11:06pm On Jul 05, 2008
I don't think you can call the cops to arrest someone just cause you were quarreling with that person.
No, but you can use the cops to take him ass out in the street for that reason. jail comes in when you put your hands on him/her.
Romance › Re: Askmen.com II by RedHotChic(op): 11:05pm On Jul 05, 2008
Cops usually don't get called into domestic disputes unless it becomes abusive.
Well, verbal abuse from a husband or lover can get the cops on your door.
Romance › Re: Askmen.com II by RedHotChic(op): 10:54pm On Jul 05, 2008
To start with:
why give her a reason to call the police on you?
There are still some men that will prefer she runs to family to settle any dispute than call the cops. That being said, will you go back to a woman that used the cop to take you out of your home because both of you were quarelling?
