Development is not achieved just like that, Sir. You need to be very honest and clear with your policies. Cheers.

I will just be more hardworking and focused . I will avoid procrastinating anything or matter. I also want to be more frugal financially so I can save towards certain projects. God help me. Amen.

TV/MoviesRe: Which NTA Channel(s) Have You Watched & What Was Your Favourite Program? by Redman44(m): 2:38am On Jan 01
NTA 2 Channel 5 was the best NTA station in Nigeria. The station was very modern with solid programs. They had very exciting Sports and Entertainment Programs. They had this jingle that was done by late J .T Tom West and other hip hop acts. If you were hip , modern or a returnee to Nigeria, NTA 2 Channel 5 was your go to Station. The channel also had lots of documentaries too.
PoliticsRe: FCT Elections: INEC excludes Labour Party, PDP faces disqualification by Redman44(m): 1:52pm On Dec 28, 2025
The powers that be in Abuja do not want LP to win Abuja again and also in 2027. Wike is working behind the scenes to clear the way for a 100% APC victory in Abuja local and council elections. Tinubu plays dirty all the time.

Ginger is cool money now. How did you plant it. Seeds or grafting. I have no idea.

I plan to start my farming side hustle by March. Which is purely Ugu, water leaf, bitter leaf and maybe pepper. Setting up the farm house now. But I don't know how to do with worker. I feel I might just need 1 worker since it's a 6 plots stead. And I plan most of the processes to be automated with time.
But fear still dey catch because this is a new territory for me
Don't be afraid. Start your side farming hustle and you will learn along the way. Be bold and full of faith that you will succeed. I am also going to do great things this farming season by God's grace. I am already doing compound crop farming. I already harvest pawpaw , Zobo and Plantain . Other crops are coming up. Cheers.
PoliticsRe: Terrorists Relocate After US Air Strikes by Redman44(m): 7:51am On Dec 28, 2025
The Missiles sent to Sokoto are tracking devices and spy satellites and cameras in disguise. They were not meant to kill the terrorists but to carry out unmanned surveillance work. Northern Nigeria is being mapped out electronically for future missile strikes and intelligence gathering. Please, use your brains.
BusinessRe: Can A Keke Rider Make This Kind Of Money Daily? by Redman44(m): 11:58am On Dec 24, 2025
TheBizMsn:
He should buy an acre of land and do everything to plant at least 200 plantain trees and 100 Coconut trees. Any money he makes again should go into gradually fencing and gating it. He will be in a very good place in 2/3 years.
Sound advice. So many pathways to wealth.
BusinessRe: Can A Keke Rider Make This Kind Of Money Daily? by Redman44(m): 11:50am On Dec 24, 2025
Are there no bills to be paid in the keke riders homes? Won't they feed themselves and their families? How about house rent ? How about school fees for the kids? How about other expenses they will incur? What is the profit made at the end of the day?
TravelRe: U.S Travel Ban Will Not Affect Permanent Residents - Immigration Expert by Redman44(m): 7:52am On Dec 21, 2025
Some of us who have tasted the western world and the white man's lands have decided to stay back in Nigeria since 2020. Nigeria has many problems but we have decided to stay back and try and make it at home . Insecurity everywhere but we no send terrorists and bandits. Business must continue. God bless my hustle. Amen.
PoliticsRe: Fire Guts Federal Revenue Agency FIRS Headquarters In Abuja by Redman44(m): 7:43am On Dec 21, 2025
Criminals everywhere. This agency has many lazy workers. Some of the workers do not even know why they are working there. They are just there to draw salary.
AgricultureRe: Recommend Where I Can Lease Land For Farming In The Southwest by Redman44(m): 7:33pm On Dec 14, 2025
Hmn. With all the kidnapping going on at the moment? Please be careful. Don't buy land too deep into the forest. Cheers.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Approves Firearms For Forest Guards In Sweeping Anti-Banditry Strategy by Redman44(m): 5:19pm On Dec 12, 2025
After giving them good weapons, the forest guards should be made to swear at a Shrine and take a oath that they will not use the guns for evil purposes. Cheers.

I am not comfortable with Ribadu as the National Security boss. He should be replaced with a Southerner asap. A Southerner with combat experience e.g ECOWAS Peace Keeping Missions.

OBA2503:
You are very right on this.
My great-grandfather who I never met left over 200 oil-palm trees (the tall varieties) when he died.

In the month of October, the caretaker who manages the hectares of land in the South-west pat of Nigeria recently called me to come and pick up 12 (25kg) kegs of red palm oil for the extended family.

Each keg at market price costs N60,000. Cool cash right!!!

On the same plot of land, there is Cocoa in a section (river side) of the land, there are oranges and mangoes, Bitter Kola and plantain trees.
Imagine, what comes from the land yearly without ever breaking sweat.

My fathers brothers recently planted another 100 oil-palm trees (short agric variety) in the last ten years.

You have spoken well. People don't know the power of the soil. The soil is the best friend you can have . Do you know the miracles one can achieve even through small backyard farming? Just small backyard farming can make you comfortable in cash if you know what you are doing. Not to talk of cultivating acres of land. The Northerners are not comfortable with Southerners going into serious Agriculture. This is one of the reasons for the Fulani onslaught on farms in Southern Nigeria. This threat should not stop you from getting serious with Agriculture though. Cheers.
Most of them have passed away but the legacy still remains.

Not everything is buildings or hotels or houses.

You seen a soursop tree before? Never seen one, even to see the fruit now na by connection
We used to have 3 soursop trees in my family house about 26 years ago. I recently planted three soursop seedlings on my own land and property. Why don't you plant the soursop yourself? soursop seedlings are available.
AgricultureRe: If You Can't Leave An Inheritance For Your Future Generation, Do This [pictures] by Redman44(m): 8:11am On Dec 12, 2025
Nigeria is a very lucky country . We have fertile land in most areas of our country. Use our soil to your advantage. Cheers. The soil hardly fails us. It is the quality of the seeds you put into the soil that matters. Agriculture is good . It is also therapeutic. The crops I want to grow are Soybeans, Cocoa, plantain, Zobo and fruits in general. Cheers.

Did you write the company that paid you and the person that gifted you to resend the money through other means as the money was returned to them by paystack? Since it was legitimate transactions they would have sent the money back to you.
Furthermore it is normal for such financial institutions to reverse reject or reverse money their system automatically flags as high risk, it is either it is blocked or refunded, this is to avoid them running against Eg money laundering laws governing their operations. Oga this time last year I had emergency and needed money, I tried fluttereave send app but for reasons I do not know it did not work, I called a friend in the UK that I know does business here in naija that he should give me his account details so I could transfer money from my UK account to his own while he gives me naira, Omo I tried 5 times it did not go, even when It went it returned to my account within minutes. Someone linked me to a person doing money transfer to Nigeria, I tried to transfer to the person's account, same thing it did not go. Guess what, I finally had to transfer to my brother's account and it went instantly! How come? I was told for what ever reasons those transactions was flagged through some funny algorithm in the banks network.
Since you did a work for your money or it was gifted, then contact the sender to resend through other means.
Looks like I will need this FCCPC very soon. Cheers.
AgricultureRe: Farmers’ Day: Share That One Farming Experience You’ll Never Forget by Redman44(m): 9:57pm On Dec 10, 2025
Jerrite:
My friend and I relocated to Oyo and planted about 5 hectare of maize and cassava, two months later, after fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides and all that, fulani herdsmen entered the farm and destroyed everything with their cattle. It was as if our child died.
We went to their settlement inside the bush, tracked and located the persons responsible, arrested them with police, and then used our savings and shop investment money to be pursuing police and court case with herdsmen. Nothing came out of it. We stopped when our money was exhausted, there was threat to life, and an intercommunal dispute because of us, and began from ground zero.
We had to take up teaching jobs just to survive, before we relocated out of the place.
Wow. This was a painful adventure in Oyo. Thank God you are alive. Don't give up on farming. You can start farming closer to where you live. I am proud of your determination. Cheers.

Mine was when I was posted from one of the south south state in 2010 to one of the western state. I am a federal Worker gotten there my boss called everybody out one day and said money spend in clearing the compound surrounding the office complex is huge that he wants any office willing to farm to be given portions, some of us from other states agreed why the indigen from the state didn't show interest.
Though farming has always been my hubby, I planted yams, vegetable(ugwu) and maize on my farm . The harvest was huge and I gat to be bringing yams to my state in the south south anytime I go back to pay my parents visit and I really enjoy those yams. What shock me is that some of my colleagues when I am not around they will just go and be stealing some of my things in the farm and these were the people that said they were not interested.
Nigerians generally take advantage of themselves. People don't like the hard work but they will steal farm produce when it is time for harvest. May God reward your efforts on the farm. Amen.

Some years back when i was at my parents home. I planted pineapples and i may sure i watered it every morning and evening but it took up to 2 years for the pineapples to mature and produce fruits. I was so happy when it finally produced it first fruit. I felt like a proud father.
Agriculture requires patience sometimes. Keep pushing.

CareerRe: What’s The One Decision You Made This Year That Changed Your Life by Redman44(m): 3:07pm On Dec 10, 2025
I started taking Agriculture seriously this year. I bought seeds and cultivated pawpaw and Zobo. I also changed jobs this year and only go to work three times a week. Getting interested in Horticulture and Agriculture has given me a new perspective in life. I have not been able to save much money this year. Too many bills and expenses to sort out.
AgricultureRe: How Many Tonnes Of Plantain Can You farm On A 20 Acres Land by Redman44(m): 9:35am On Dec 10, 2025

Your best way to cultivate this is by intercropped with maize, cocoayam, plantain with cocoa
Very good suggestion. Good thinking. However, you need to guard against thieves. Crop theft is rampant in Nigeria.

[quote author=Robisky001 post=137671189]My watermelon was eaten by termite before they even started growing and also, as a result of the excessive rain fall my crops were destroyed. [/quote

Pele o. Take heart. Agriculture is not for the faint hearted man or woman. So many threats to the survival of the crop you have cultivated. Even when you are about to reap the fruit of your labour, thieves might show up. Pele o.
FamilyRe: Which Is Harder To Raise, A Boy Child Or A Girl Child? by Redman44(m): 11:22am On Dec 02, 2025
It is the girl child that is harder to raise. When the boobs and buttocks start to come out properly, your girl is open to sexual abuse and being lured to use her body to get advantages and what she wants. There is a girl I used to teach and actually became someone she and her family looks up to. She is in JSS 3 now. I did not see her for almost a year but when she came to my place recently, I noticed her body is changing rapidly. Her breasts, hips , buttocks etc. I have started limiting her coming to my place. I don't want wahala. Cheers.

There are more germs on the phone you are holding to take pictures than inside of the bottles she picked there. The bottles are closed with the lid before been trashed in the dustbin
Many Zobo sellers wash the bottles properly before pouring Zobo into them. Cheers. Using al these plastic bottles to sell liquid soap and local drinks like Zobo is a good method of recycling the bottles.
