A1 in History ? Hey, stop dreaming. History is very tough at WAEC level not to talk of University level. I am a graduate of History.

Private Universities are seriously coming up. They will outpace Federal and State Universities within the next decade if care is not taken. Schools like Bowen, Babcock University, Covenant , Redeemed University etc are getting better every day. The same way Private Secondary Schools have overtaken Government owned Secondary schools in terms of infrastructure and quality teaching staff. Same thing might happen to university education in Nigeria.

Yekini knew how to dribble. He was not a master dribbler like Austin Okocha, but Yekini dribbled to score some of his goals for Nigeria and the clubs he played for. Cheers.

We should take a look at these two ladies.

1. Yvonne Uju Ejim. ( Canadian -Nigerian ). She is a very good player. She has not played for Canada in a serious competition. She is eligible to play for Nigeria if the NBBF approaches her. Yes, she has played for Canada at the Pan American Games and Olympic qualifiers but she has not really played serious competitions for Canada.

2. Anastasilia Olain Kosu ( Russian -Nigerian). She is in the WNBA. She has not played for Russia at senior level. She is open for grabs by the NBBF. The earlier we approach her, the better. Her father played in spain as a basketball professional player. She will be a good addition to D'tigress.

I believe the NBBF should welcome Nneka Ogwumike into the Nigerian Basketball set-up. Ogwumike still qualifies to hold a Nigerian passport. I believe she already holds our green passport. She can work with Rena as assistant Coach for Dtigress at next year's FIBA World Cup for Women. She can also work as Coach of Nigeria's u-17 and u-19 girls basketball team. She can start from there and work her way to coaching D'tigress after Rena Wakama's tenure. Cheers.

I feel for Nneka Ogwumike. Well, she can get a coaching certificate and work towards coaching Nigeria in the future. She has a good chance of coaching D'tigress in the future.

Who is the best player in the female basketball domestic league in Nigeria? Or who are the top 5 female basketball players in Nigeria? They should be invited to D'tigress camp towards the World Cup qualifiers next year . Lets see what the five of them can offer Coach Rena and Nigeria.

For the third time, FIBA has rejected Nneka Ogwumike’s application to represent D’Tigress.

The Los Angeles Sparks forward had applied to play for Nigeria at the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Ogwumike had previously sought a nationality switch in 2020 and again in 2024, but both attempts were denied.

I think it is time to put Nneka's chances of playing for Nigeria behind us. The issue is dead and buried. What we should be discussing now are the other US based or Europe based players available to us. Those ladies who have not suited up for the USA or any other country . If Iriafen is not willing to play for Nigeria, we should close the door on her and scout for other willing players.

Most crops grown in the North can also grow in the South. It needs determination and patience to cultivate crops like Sesame, Ginger, Onions, tumeric, potatoes, hibiscus ( Zobo ), Guinea Corn, Millets etc in Southern Nigeria. Seeds are dynamic. They can grow anywhere with proper planting techniques. Cheers.

India is superior to Nigeria in many things. We are not on the same level with India. The Nigerian government should attempt to bring 20 million Nigerians out of poverty first. Then we can start thinking of hosting events.

You won't get an answer to your question. Some people simply cease to exist as themselves on official government records in the UK or the USA, Canada , Australia etc. They assume other identities of dead or existing people to live in the UK. When they are done with their mission in the UK, USA etc , they leave the country and never come back again. Most times, they go to another developed nation under their real identity. Like I said, it is a dark and deep way of life you won't understand. People do it to survive. Cheers.

Some of the posts on here just shows many Nigerians don’t like playing by the rules. Thus our current predicament.

I agree with your point but sometimes immigrants fall into dire circumstances that require them to find out a means to survive. This is why I said they should respect the official conditions of their visa. However, to survive, they should look for odd jobs that can fetch them consistent cash payments which can help them sort out their bills and accomodations fee. If they are hardworking, they can make good money from those odd jobs. They can set a target of 2-3 years and save up enough money in an account in Nigeria. Then they can return to Nigeria and start a business. With their foreign exposure, they will succeed back home. It is all about having goals and a good plan.

Which city is she studying in sef? Respect the visa rules and conditions, but find your own way in the UK without leaving any trails or evidence for the home office to use against you. The UK Home Office knows all these tricks of playing the system, but they are cool with it as long as they don't catch you red handed. There are illegal immigrants in the UK who are worth hundreds of thousands of pounds and have investments in property, but they are faceless and unknown to the government. They don't exist " officially " . Know the game and you will be ok. Cheers.

She should have done cash in hand jobs. She could have just gotten a self employed cleaner job and be cleaning homes for 3-5 clients regularly. No paper trail or bank account for payment- just pay cash in hand. Her clients, if they are Asians, will give her food and meet her Sundry needs if she is a good worker. She won't need to pay NI or Tax as someone doing odd jobs which will even make her fit. She no sabi how to work in the DARK.

I am glad the OP did his research well. He wrote down the price of feed he could get, and someone claiming to be a chief wants to convince him that the cost of feeding he is using is excessive. Lol. I looked at the chief's quotes and wondered if he was not aware of Nigeria's rapid inflation rate. If the OP, who is new to the business, uses a constant price for a year-long cycle of laying birds, I am not sure how a business chief decided to do the same. That's hilarious. My guess is that the chief wants OP to patronize him so he can teach him how to save money on feeding in return for a fee, or become his supplier. Lol. Naijas are over smart.

OP, broiler production has always been more profitable than layer production, and if broiler producers are complaining, I am guessing layer producers are in trouble. The advantage of broiler production is that you can see whether you have succeeded or failed within two months. However, with layers, the likes of chief will use your head to play "kalokalo" for a whole year before you wake up from your slumber.

Here is my suggestions: Newbies....stay away from anything farming in Nigeria at the moment. Crops, fruits, trees, vegetables.....poultry, livestocks, piggery, etc. Stay away from them all. The economy is not favorable for a newbie to start anything. Leave the scene for experienced farmers who can navigate it. It is a complex situation we are all facing presently in Nigeria.

If you want to learn how to farm, do so for your own health rather than for a profit. If you go into it at this time, na you sabi.

If you let anyone use you to have a wonderful Christmas and New Year for his family, na you sabi.

Oga, dont discourage people from going into Agriculture o. Please encourage them to do backyard farming or small scale farming on undeveloped lands in the neighbourhood. Small scale farming helps a lot. Thanks.

In a country of 200 + million people, how can primary school pupils be up to 50 million in number ? I don't understand. The ideal number should not be more than 25 million . And why do you want to feed pupils who are not in school? Do you know their homes? 500 naira per meal to feed a student ? These people are jokers.

We had one in our compound too. It is called the Indian almond. Yes, it was not sold in the market. Guavas too were not common in the market. Cheers. Guava trees are becoming a rarity in Nigeria. I want to reverse that trend. Cheers.
