TravelRe: Not Every Abroad Person Is Your ATM by Redman44(m): 12:29pm On Nov 21, 2025
It is not everyone that asks for money from those abroad all the time. Sometimes, you can't just help it especially if you need the money to sort out something very genuine which you never planned for. Many Nigerians abroad are also not finding it easy. So if you are in Nigeria, work hard and pray to God to favour you in your business or work. If you have to ask for financial help from your friend or sibling abroad, make sure it is for a very genuine, productive and strong reason. Cheers.

Let us just hope there is no problem between the regular players and the NBBF over payments of allowances and the cash the FG promised the girls sometimes this year. I hope there is no silent war simmering between the girls and NBBF. We don't want sudden withdrawals and boycott threats over unpaid monies. Cheers.

Are we not the ones clamouring for new players to be introduced into the squad? It is a friendly game to assess new players that might make it into the main squad. Does someone have a full list of the players that played against Turkey yesterday? I want to check something. We need like three new gifted players to beef up D'tigress Squad. Coach Rena might be looking for fresh players who can give the regular players a serious fight for shirts. We need lots of friendly games to unearth these fresh and gifted players. Cheers.
AgricultureRe: How Can I Make Proper Use Of 1 Acre Of Land ? by Redman44(m): 9:40pm On Nov 03, 2025
mightycrowns44:
Please Agric experts and practitioners ,I have one acre of land in a little bit far away place so I wont be going there frequently, maybe once in a month. The area is not yet developed.
I wish to fence it and put a gate there and have water well there. What can I plant there that will not require frequent monitoring and that can be profitable?
There are also 2 different plots and 2 and 3 plots in areas that are not developed yet.Location is Ogun State.
Baba, Good evening. Let me give you my own opinion. See, don't plant vegetables or do greenhouse farming on your acre of land. Since you won't be coming there frequently, you should think of long term farming. Vegetables will require your presence at least three times a week. Is the land acquired for farming alone or you plan to build your house on it later on? Here are my suggestions:
1. Plant plantain and bananas on the land. You can get plantain and banana suckers from different sources in the Southwest of Nigeria. You can come once a month to check on your banana and plantain . It is a good business.
2. You can also plant Cocoa there. You can plant plantain alongside Cocoa on the land. The plantains will act as a shade for the Cocoa until the Cocoa trees mature. Cocoa beans are in high demand these days locally and internationally.
3. Plant bitter kola on the land. Or plant Bitter Kola on three plots of the acre and plant Cocoa on the other three plots. Read up on bitter kola and Cocoa farming. God bless you, bro. Cheers.
AgricultureRe: How Many Tonnes Of Plantain Can You farm On A 20 Acres Land by Redman44(m): 9:12pm On Nov 03, 2025

Hey guys
Just a quick question to agriculture expert based in Nigeria.
How many tonnes of plantain can we farm on 20 acres land?
Any info and tips will be appreciated.
I hope the land is not leased. You should buy the land first and secure it from omo onile and land grabbers. Then you can think of starting your plantain plantation. Twenty acres of plantain is not easy to manage o. Watch videos on YOUTUBE.COM about cultivating plantain. Cheers.

EducationRe: Private Universities Vs Federal Universities; Which Truly Offers Better Value? by Redman44(m): 2:32am On Oct 28, 2025
Private Universities are seriously coming up. They will outpace Federal and State Universities within the next decade if care is not taken. Schools like Bowen, Babcock University, Covenant , Redeemed University etc are getting better every day. The same way Private Secondary Schools have overtaken Government owned Secondary schools in terms of infrastructure and quality teaching staff. Same thing might happen to university education in Nigeria.

RomanceRe: Avoid Sleeping With Someone's Wife by Redman44(m): 8:05am On Oct 26, 2025
May God continue to protect Men who follow Jesus Christ. If you see some married women, you will feel like bleeping them. They are so charming and attractive. Married women have an advantage in the sense that they are experienced in sexual intercourse. Their bodies are also fully developed as they have given birth to children. So they know how to pleasure a man and make sex interesting. However, it is better to avoid sleeping with another man's wife. Once you start having sex with a married woman, it is not easy to stop the adultery. And the consequences are grave and serious. Cheers.

The striker with no dribbling skills but deadly when it comes to finding the back of the net.
Defenders nightmares with his imposing stature
Yekini knew how to dribble. He was not a master dribbler like Austin Okocha, but Yekini dribbled to score some of his goals for Nigeria and the clubs he played for. Cheers.

SportsRe: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by Redman44(m): 4:39pm On Oct 18, 2025
We should take a look at these two ladies.

1. Yvonne Uju Ejim. ( Canadian -Nigerian ). She is a very good player. She has not played for Canada in a serious competition. She is eligible to play for Nigeria if the NBBF approaches her. Yes, she has played for Canada at the Pan American Games and Olympic qualifiers but she has not really played serious competitions for Canada.

2. Anastasilia Olain Kosu ( Russian -Nigerian). She is in the WNBA. She has not played for Russia at senior level. She is open for grabs by the NBBF. The earlier we approach her, the better. Her father played in spain as a basketball professional player. She will be a good addition to D'tigress.

I believe the NBBF should welcome Nneka Ogwumike into the Nigerian Basketball set-up. Ogwumike still qualifies to hold a Nigerian passport. I believe she already holds our green passport. She can work with Rena as assistant Coach for Dtigress at next year's FIBA World Cup for Women. She can also work as Coach of Nigeria's u-17 and u-19 girls basketball team. She can start from there and work her way to coaching D'tigress after Rena Wakama's tenure. Cheers.

I feel for Nneka Ogwumike. Well, she can get a coaching certificate and work towards coaching Nigeria in the future. She has a good chance of coaching D'tigress in the future.

Who is the best player in the female basketball domestic league in Nigeria? Or who are the top 5 female basketball players in Nigeria? They should be invited to D'tigress camp towards the World Cup qualifiers next year . Lets see what the five of them can offer Coach Rena and Nigeria.

Danielnino00:
For the third time, FIBA has rejected Nneka Ogwumike’s application to represent D’Tigress.

The Los Angeles Sparks forward had applied to play for Nigeria at the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Ogwumike had previously sought a nationality switch in 2020 and again in 2024, but both attempts were denied.

I think it is time to put Nneka's chances of playing for Nigeria behind us. The issue is dead and buried. What we should be discussing now are the other US based or Europe based players available to us. Those ladies who have not suited up for the USA or any other country . If Iriafen is not willing to play for Nigeria, we should close the door on her and scout for other willing players.

Most crops grown in the North can also grow in the South. It needs determination and patience to cultivate crops like Sesame, Ginger, Onions, tumeric, potatoes, hibiscus ( Zobo ), Guinea Corn, Millets etc in Southern Nigeria. Seeds are dynamic. They can grow anywhere with proper planting techniques. Cheers.

India is superior to Nigeria in many things. We are not on the same level with India. The Nigerian government should attempt to bring 20 million Nigerians out of poverty first. Then we can start thinking of hosting events.

Macaulay Victoria deserves her spot on D'tigress roster. She is a good player. Ejiofor should be given more minutes on the court. Ogoke should retire before the World Cup.

Please how is this possible illegal immigrants with hundreds of thousands of pounds and nothing is tracked
You won't get an answer to your question. Some people simply cease to exist as themselves on official government records in the UK or the USA, Canada , Australia etc. They assume other identities of dead or existing people to live in the UK. When they are done with their mission in the UK, USA etc , they leave the country and never come back again. Most times, they go to another developed nation under their real identity. Like I said, it is a dark and deep way of life you won't understand. People do it to survive. Cheers.

Some of the posts on here just shows many Nigerians don’t like playing by the rules. Thus our current predicament.
I agree with your point but sometimes immigrants fall into dire circumstances that require them to find out a means to survive. This is why I said they should respect the official conditions of their visa. However, to survive, they should look for odd jobs that can fetch them consistent cash payments which can help them sort out their bills and accomodations fee. If they are hardworking, they can make good money from those odd jobs. They can set a target of 2-3 years and save up enough money in an account in Nigeria. Then they can return to Nigeria and start a business. With their foreign exposure, they will succeed back home. It is all about having goals and a good plan.
TravelRe: Nigerian Girl Breaks Down In Tears After Her UK Student Visa Was Terminåted by Redman44(m): 6:31pm On Sep 20, 2025
Which city is she studying in sef? Respect the visa rules and conditions, but find your own way in the UK without leaving any trails or evidence for the home office to use against you. The UK Home Office knows all these tricks of playing the system, but they are cool with it as long as they don't catch you red handed. There are illegal immigrants in the UK who are worth hundreds of thousands of pounds and have investments in property, but they are faceless and unknown to the government. They don't exist " officially " . Know the game and you will be ok. Cheers.

She should have done cash in hand jobs. She could have just gotten a self employed cleaner job and be cleaning homes for 3-5 clients regularly. No paper trail or bank account for payment- just pay cash in hand. Her clients, if they are Asians, will give her food and meet her Sundry needs if she is a good worker. She won't need to pay NI or Tax as someone doing odd jobs which will even make her fit. She no sabi how to work in the DARK.
