Inspiring...my question is will you still need to change the orientation of their home as they get older? I mean will you still need to build a proper cage as they get older or that's their permanent home? I'm asking primarily cus of the layers... thanks

That is my brooding room, it is not their permanent home, I will only brood them here for 3-4 weeks before I take them to their permanent cage

6 weeks today. Average weight 2.4kg. Lost 14 birds so far. Honestly this set of agrited birds are the worst I've ever raised

No sir since I have started feed fermentation, I feed them grower twice a day, early in the morning, I remove feed before 9am, and feed them 6pm before I put them into their cage at night.
Sometimes when I noticed tired birds, I dip inside water in a bowl raising the head above water level.
Then I forgot to tell you I mixed calcium with their feed every morning.
I want to deworm them tomorrow.
Thank you sir, they are all better, all walking now, they are not as lazy as before

The weather is not easy this days cut palm leaves and put on top ur pen or use carton and make sure their is always water to avoids dehydration

I always release them on free range as early as 7am, and take them back to their cage lately 8:30pm

I want to ferment their feed and feed them once or twice in a day, and provide enough water to burn the fat.

What I found inside

Seriously I'm sad this morning, birds that don't die during brooding are now dying at maturity. I have lost 10 birds between their 5th to 7th week. I lost another one this morning.
Each time I open the stomach, I found too much of fat inside, is it the fat that is killing them?
I noticed all of them are too lazy to walk or even stand to eat or drink. Is that how Agrited birds do?
All my stress and money gone, others are still there lying down, gave them Antibiotics from Friday till Sunday and gave them Lasota yesterday. I have given all drugs I know, no changes.
I have to try another strain of birds, maybe Obasanjo, I have 41 birds left out of 51.
My profit is gone, despite I bought them high at DOC, even bigh cost of feed, etc.
They are on free range from more till night everyday before I put them back into their cage every night.
Better someone brood Kuroiler or noiler in July for Christmas than buying Broilers incOctober for Christmas, these Broilers are Amaka, they can Disappoint even Satan.

Hi. Wish you success in your poultry journey. I have been looking for where to get RIR, do you have any idea if your supplier have RIR or at least, leghorn? Kindly share his contacts.

He can get you Leghorn, but not quite easy to get according to him

I believe a Sasso was mistakenly added to the five noilers bird that I bought because I noticed that one of the bird grew up extremely fast. In 3 month it as started crowing and in 4 month it looks like a mature noiler while others are still growing the way noiler grows.

Your birds is till noiler, not Sasso. I don't rule out the possibility of adding Kuroilers.
Noilers grow faster too if you bought original Amo noiler.

Chairman, this is not Agrited, Agrited don't grow tall like this, put your hand in their chest, if you fell or touch bone, they are not Agrited. I sold my last 9 month Agrited for 4500 last week.
This your chick is same size with my 6weeks old Agrited.

I intend to keep them for as long as the femaleckeep giving me eggs.
But I may likely sell the male after few months with 3kg

My Sasso chicks are so happy tonight, running up and down. mixed with different colours, I thought they will be red colours only untill I check them, because I saw people nicknamed them as "Red Chicken".
Actually their size at day old look like a day old broiler size, perhaps that may happen because of the parents eggs.
They are consuming so much including those foreign turkey.
Crops is so big.
Despite heat everywhere, they still need more heat, I have to light the charcoal for them.
Male I no lie, I like this Sasso broilers o, I need to order for more before the price goes up.
They are dual purpose birds.

This evening while observing them, one was so quite and just seating at a place even when I brought it out in the open, while I try to raise it, it's poo was practically water

Check those chicks to see if lice is feasting on their body.
BTW, when was the last time you give them Lasota?
