5 weeks, can I say they are on free range too? Since they werecthreecweeks old, I release them every morning from their cage, and take them back to the cage every evening. I dont know how to calculate average weight, I dont know mathematics. Some are 2.7kg, while the least among them is 2.2kg

Truth be told, feed is not scarce here in Ondo. There are so many types of feeds, but the price is on the higher side. Xmass price is going to be determined by demand, lots of people in the street reared bird too |
I open one sachet of Tetracycline capsules to four litres of water and I add two tablet of Flagyl, that's what I give in the morning. In the afternoon, I blend bitter leaves and scent leaves for them. In the night, I switched off the light from feed for three hours, filled their feeders I darkness. After 3 hours I switched on the light, they will all rush the food, I will wait for them to eat for 30 minutes and drink, I switched it off again and come back in 3hours time to do same. Do those thing for two days and come back and give me the result. |
bioemmy:Same thing happened to me, at first I thought it was new hope feed until I bought Among feed and it is still same. if you look closely at the poo, you will discover it is not digesting feed normally, you will see some feed inside the poo. I have used all sorts of drug and still no improvement and I keep loosing a bird everyday, their body weight reduced, they are not eating like before, they hardly eat sef, bit they drink enough water. Thank God I finally get the solution yesterday, they are all with filled crop |
jidestroud:. waooo, they are big, even though they are on free range |
jidestroud:waooo, I love them, they look very neat. How old? |
noeloge82:I finally got Amo feed half bag this evening. I will update you Sunday evening |
noeloge82:Thank you boss, I wont any drugs again. I know where the problem comes from. I will get Amo feed on Monday and give you feedback on Wednesday |
Anyone using Chikun or Ultima finisher here? From my observation, it seems new hope and co are using fresh and not dry maize to produce their feed. I have lost three chicken already this week. Chicken that are not dying from day old are dying at 5weeks when I changed their feed to finisher. I stopped and the finisher three days ago, I started giving them super starter, they are not eating it like they are eating pellet, it looks like they don't like crumble again. I gave their the crumble super starter for 2 days, their poo get normal again with the help of Corylsp. But since they are not eating like before and it is not showing on their crop, I changed back to the finisher yesterday night, they were happy and they rushed it, their crop got bigger again, I was happy. This morning again, I saw their poo green, though not watery, and I lost another bird, I withdraw all their feed and I changed it to Chikun grower meant for the turkeys. I want to manage that till Monday that I will have enough money to buy either Amo feed or Ultima Feed. i will update the whole house by Tuesday |
joschars:New hope professional starter and when they get to 4week, I switched to new hope commercial finisher |
noeloge82:Yes boss. I just finished the sachet this morning. I want to give them bitter leave and scent leaves juice in the afternoon and continue with Cocciffor in the evening |
raphemmanuel:Big one is 2 months, my first order from Noeloge82, I sold them at 3weeks, left five for myself. I have killed the rest to my pot of soup. The small one is my last order from Noeloge82 too, 5weeks old. They are down with Coryza for over two weeks, their feed intake has really decreased, that is why they are not more than this weight. |
Thank God

stantran:How about the the pay? I'm in Ondo |
Anyone using New hope feed here? I'm very sure my birds problem comes from changing from new hope professional starter to new hope commercial finisher. They will be calling sick anytime I changed from starter to finisher. I'll start using Amo finisher or Ultima finisher from next week. |
Why are there so many sick birds these days especially from birds gotten from September till date. I'm tired and I have lost hope. Birds are just dying anyhow, this is a black market business, chicken will be running, and they dropped dead in the next 2 minutes. |
dennisworld1:Get them Corylsp |
Moved them to their cage today.
|
1b8m:Are they Agrited as usual? My next birds will be chi, I'm loving the chi I saw someone uploaded on this thread |
SoftHeart:Noeloge82, talk to him, he will assist you |
jidestroud:Thank you sir. They feed mainly on water leaves and little finisher. I will give them grower from next week. They are now eating better than before, but not quite much, but they don't get tired of food like the broilers are doing, no matter how full their crop is, if the see you coming with water leaves, they run fast to welcome you |

Sunnyval:Buy Tylodox or any drugs that can cure crd |
KpakpaJulaga:Foreign Turkey grow very big within six months and you can sell them |
Is there any WhatsApp or Telegram group for betking virtual? |
jidestroud:is it possible to keep them for breeding purpose? which one of them will I use for breeding? male or female? is it the male foreign Turkeys that will cross the female local? or vice versa? Will the offspring be exactly like foreign poults? |
noeloge82:These one ain't eating much, except waterleaves. |
jidestroud:Thank you sir, I'll look for means to sell when they reach 6 months old. Then, how do you distinguish male and female poults. someone told me the two I have are males, I ask how he arrived at that, he said because they used to raised feathers and are behaving like real turkeys |
jidestroud:. Thank you sir, I'll keep updating you . I planned to buy more to make them 20 in total and rear them till maturity and sell them off. someone told me I can sell them at 3-6 months. But I'll like to keep them for a year with my local turkeys |
