The jersey fine, no be small. What stops me from buying one as a supporter of my team? Gone are the days we loved adorning the Green White Green shirt; haaaa!!! European football don relegate us no be small.

Let our local teams in the league be playing on a sub-standard pitch, I will continue to support them. It is from the support that we give that will bring out the anomalies in the league. If EPL had not received support, how would it get to Africa in the first place. The issue there is that we should support our own, no matter how low it is.

If we can keep supporting our league like this, very soon our league will be delightful to watch as there would be excitement.

Self-absorbed mothafu.c.kas like that guy on the canada thread piss me off! When he got his visa, everyone was congratulating him, he never showed up again. Fastforward to 2013, he's stuck in the US and now he remembers the Canada thread complaining about the US. In sum, attitude says a lot about a person. I'm not surprised. They will always hit a roadblock in life anyways.

My sister, that is life o. Sometimes, people make decisions based on what they see others do. Why go to USA first or disturb others when you had never sat down and planned or envisioned about your reason for going there.
Honestly speaking, what the guy did is the secret behind the undoing of some million people out there; doing something because everybody is doing it.

Why do we care to help some people on this thread when they are in need of help? Why can't everyone just overlook his colleague in trouble? Is it everyone that deserves help?

These questions baffle me since yesterday morning.

Such is life sir. I don't belong here o but when I read the case that instigated this, I felt dampened in my heart. The word that came to my mind was that "this guy does not deserve this at all." You have already built a shock absorber around your life and that was reflective in your words afterwards.
From the issue, I have got some lessons confirmed again about life. Keep being your unique being sir and God will continue to bless you.

N.B: Many of the proponents of wine-taking do not take wine at all. I am inclusive and I have many personal reasons for not doing so, so don't think I am looking for self-justification.

ayobase: There is a difference between wine of today and wine of after today...fermentation...if it were fermented wine (alcohol) Jesus gave them, then that wedding might have taken another course...people might drunk to the level of misbehaving....no misbehaviour was reported during and after the wedding ceremony!

Somebody can take an alcoholic wine and not misbehave if taken moderately, while someone can take Eva or the likes and damage his body. The keyword is MODERATION.
Someone can take a whole bottle of wine and drink and not loose control of himself at all, while someone might just take a tablespoon of the same wine and loose control. That is why we have those non-alcoholic beverages because they can be drunken to any length without intoxicating the drinker (but damage his body), while wine can intoxicate someone.

You are wrong sir. ANYTHING called wine is alcoholic. All these 'non-alcoholic wines are not wines at all, but beverages.
Like some other brethren arguing for taking wines said, moderation is the key. I am also sure many of them don't drink it too based on some facts. I myself don't drink it because it tastes bitter for my liking. What is in the scripture is drunkeness. One can even get drunk with Coca-cola; this results in our body experiencing pile because it isn't taken moderately.

One thing that still surprises me is why studying is still costly for international students. To make it worse, little to no scholarship grants again, and from what I've seen so far, their institutes are filled with foreign teachers/researchers.
Maybe they need to start making scholarships available.
As far as I'm concerned, the cost might not be a problem for me o, but one needs to be business-wise too.

Like Jenny said, the first semester is paid in full before the CoE is given, while other semesters are paid instalmentally. It's with this CoE that you apply for visa.
