My question is, is it possible to get a job in australia if the only education you had there was a Doctorate degree? Hw certain is getting a Phd scholarship and assistantship and what schools offer such opportunities?I am looking at charles darwin, curtin, UWA and adelaide universities. What I am looking at now is going for an MSc first, then land myself in Aussie for a PhD program. I have not found the program sef in Australia, for PhD, only in New Zealand, but I will still wait till I finish the MSc first.

You won't find any because no cheap college or university exist. For the unis, they start with nothing less than 4m in our currency (I am not sure sef). For the colleges, just a little below that amount, as the minimum.

In fact, my transcript was not even certified at all.

I am waiting for his response.I can't stand using ground mail.

What did they tell you by mail? Asides opening my profile on their system and filling the forms plus the uploading of the documents, I never did anything again until the offer letter came.

My brother, permit me to talk based on my Pry 3 wisdom and please don't be offended with whatever I say (remember it's Pry 3 wisdom).
In any thing you want to do, never put money first at all. In fact, your preferential scale, let making money be among the lower ranks. Go for what will make you fulfilled, just as you mentioned "advancing your career" in your post. Get the bearing well set and see money coming after you.
The course you are going for should be dependent on your expectation and what you want out of it.
As per Infotech, you can rub minds with Ferdimako and explore the space together, but for Business Management, I don't think it's that lucrative, based on what Jenny has said here.
Peradventure you want to go for the money spinning career, I bet you it's Minning, cos Australia's economy is based on that sector.
