O ya o, go Eagles. We love you and please do us proud. You can do it. |
Enyimba, 3SC and heartland can't be playing like this. Let's play draw and let the more serious team qualify. We're not focused or passionate at all. |
Somebody should please tell me the guys in white are not our SE team. Are they training or what? |
lilshon: Please I need a full detail on this glo bis on non-bb phones and the connection profile(s) to use. ThanksDear brother, kindly read from page 1 to 3 of this thread if you can't go beyond. Everything was addressed there. |
honourhim: and when its from the spirit of God the difference is very clear. Except if you havent experienced it.Please brethren, I have heard it being said that some Pastors teach their followers confusing syllables calling it 'tongues'. Is it real? If a pastor were to do so, then the members should leave the place, cos it's anti-scriptural. By the way, the case of the Corinthian church was like someone mounting the pulpit to lead the opening prayer. Instead of saying "let's begin to appreciate the name of the Lord ...", what you hear is their own form of 'speaking in the spirit'- nonsense of the highest order. It looks like it can't happen but my friend said they do it in one popular church like that. May God give them understanding (Amen). Besides, praying in tongues is good (but for the person praying himself). For the unknown language to benefit the whole congregation, it must be interpreted. In CAC churches, this use to happen very well with the speaker giving the message and she interpreting it or the pastor in charge do it. Mostly when this occurs, it is during intense prayer in the congregation and not just someone come up with being inspired by one spirit, attributing it to the Holy Ghost. I remembered a story someone shared with me one day. He said the person was just speaking and as God would catch him, he was interpreting it. Before he could say anything, he came up with this 'I am the Lord that fights silently like the devil ...' The pastor didn't let him finish before he cut him off and silenced him. What if it had not been interpreted for the whole congregation to hear what was being said and they now start shouting 'Amen'? I am sure they would have been cursed beyond measure. He who cannot interpret his unknown language in a public gathering should keep his tongue to himself. Final!!! |
The driver's act was a good one but conveyed in a wrong way because it would cause a distraction. Going by d fact that people are busy early in the morning, he could have done it in two ways; say few words in just 3 minutes or at most, 5 minutes (even 'Dear friends, Jesus loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you today, kindly accept Him as Lord and Saviour. Have a great day' is enough) or play an audio tape. The rantings and the bickering that ensued between the op and the driver dented the essence of the message. The op should have just written a note to the driver, telling him of moderation next time. There must be moderation in our way of doing things as Christians, and not a 'Pharisaic' order of doing things. Shalom!!! |
Dear God, let the FG be serious about implementing this to the fullest and support our indigenous auto manufacturing coy to the greater height. Besides, will the steel rolling mill (if they could put them to work) cause a lower cost of operation for IVM? |
solomon111: like i said before; Not really. They were viewed inn line with their performance last year. |
boron10: Oya o, bring out your calculator and let's start calculating how to avoid ivory coast ni oYou be wicked man o! If seksi Bance smile for u? U no go fit comment again o! |
hollandis: yes i have heard all the if's but there is one if you have not mentioned --"What happens if ethiopia wins Nigeria?"With BF's surprising display tonight, anything can happen; but I trust SE to put their previous performances behind and play their hearts out. They won't disappoint us. |
abdulkayus: pls i wan to ask did BF play so well like dis agaisnt us?I want to believe their coach studied their opponent's game very well. With 10 men, they were just too much. I think no country will want to neglect these guys now. |
Bance's face at normal time is scary; at happy time, it's scarier. I can't imagine the look when he's angry or moody. ![]() |
It's like BF's coach studied Ethipoa's game very well. From pass, to pace, defensive ability, attacking with skill, I just doff my hat. They deserve to top this group and go far. They are just hungry like Zambia of last year. |
Were wo'ja! |
See as BF dey form Brazil for pitch. Na wa o! It's like West Africa is the soccer power house of Africa. African soccer big boys had better watch out though. |
Soccer is a bad thing. On Monday, it made me go food-less till I slept off. See how it's turned happy Ethiopian faces into dull ones. |
honeric01: Ghanaian keeper did the same yesterday but only got a yellow card from the ref. the refs are killing the game.Truly, I didn't watch d Ghanaian game at all. Besides, BF is displaying some good woodwork here despite being 1-man down. |
The goalkeeper committed a big blunder there. How could he have done that stupid thing? |
ferdimako: Okay.Ferdi, no comment on this issue again. Let bygone be bygone. |
I believe there will be a first-timer clinching the Afcon trophy this year. With the way these 2 countries are playing, there is no underdog again in Africa. BF and Ethiopia are showing a class of beautiful football on a substandard pitch. Kudos to them. SE and our coach had better doctor the game very well. |
honeric01: I wish God can just filter this country, erase people that can't think with their God given brains. they hardly think, most Nigerians think with 0.01% of their brains. My brother, the word 'cursed' is too harsh. Please stop using it cos of its denigrate nature. Funny enough, Nigerians are too hard to be please. The team played well today, but the coach"s tactical error in bringing in forwards instead of fortifying the not-so-existing midfield. Above all, the ref gave a wrong penalty against our team. Despite the fact that our team have been lacklustre for some years now, people have been supporting the team and still hopeful. We all want to see the glorious days of SE back, when the mention of SE will send shiver down the spine of opponents. Our hope for the glorious days to come is what is breeding this impatience in us. Let's learn to accommodate others' shortcomings. Peace!!! |
I have not eaten. Now, I don't have appetite
O'boy, take heart sha. It happened to me on Monday and I went to bed in anger and heartbreak. Today, I was wise not to make that stupid mistake by expecting a win against our opponent. Anyhow it comes, I will accept and move on; afterall 8 teams will go home after the first round and they didn't swear for them from home. Good prep begets good performance. |
First game, bad officiating. Second game, technically bad officiating. Something is definitely wrong with African football, and thumbs down to CAF. Nigeria needs apology from CAF. |
I am not disappointed at all. I was on probability right from the first minute. It's either a win, draw or loose. I just hope they perform wonder in their last game. |
I'm not surprised though. It wasn't a penalty in d first place but the blame still goes to lack of concentration from SE. |
Abeg coach, remove that Musa from dat pitch. I dey beg. |
abifoluwa: hunger no catch you nowOga, u for pity me dat day. No food gree enta my mouth. Even water no gree. Na me dem go kill now? No way! |
Until the final whistle is blown and SE come out as winner, I won't celebrate it. That was how they made me sleep without food on Monday. |
executinal: our midfield is just poorWe don't have midfield at all. |
aieromon: God bless you. I don almost break my 10years old decoder here.Break decoder on top SE game? E no worth am. |
If I were Enyeama, I would reject any future call-up into SE. |
I talk am. SE don finish! |
