goshen: ANU, UniSyd, Melbourne and UNSW are quite good research institutes with appreciable government funding. Not sure of their scholarship or tuition waiver programmes for Phd. You may have to browse through their websites. Scholarship isnt so common in Aussy like the US sha.

One thing I hate about their system is the unavailability of scholarship. But it's like Phd is different at ANU from dt of others like UniSyd and the rest. ANU is more funded for research.
If one were to get PR, scholarship will be more open and tuition will be greatly slashed.

Research is good in Australia. You can try out Australian National University or check through the list of their schools online.

goshen: Payment is also no big deal. When you are admitted, they would send you an offer letter, with two options of accepting the offer; online and the hard copy. I chose to accept online, because its faster.I paid with my ATM card. Accommodation in Syd is quite expensive, am looking at shared accommodation to cut my expense.

I will intimate you on how it's going when I get to that level.
It's not only accomodation dt is expensive @ sydney, cost of living in total. That's where Canada is a lil bit fairer than Aus. I am thinking dt there might be cheap accomodation by January.

goshen: Just to confirm your enrolment. It's part of the tuition, i.e, it would be net off your over all tuition fee. Your CoE would be sent to you after making this deposit.

No problem at all. I was asked by someone if the fund for fee was available as against March admission time cos that could cause delay and I told him funding would be no problem.
When the time comes for those payment, I will contact you sha.
For the accomodation, you will also hint me on anything u get o. I wanted to ask a guy at Monash uni abt accomodation but he wasn't replying my mails, so I stopped sending any enquiry.

cconcept: you guys should start dropping practical tips on how you went about your applications.

Only goshen and bbamega are the ones that can provide info on the documents submitted now, as I have not gotten to their stage.
Jennykadry is another person that can give detailed info abt documents too but she has not been featuring on the thread for some time now.

goshen: Yeah,that explains why I chose them. Am inclined towards off Campus, possibly a suburb close to the sch. I only paid 4000 dollars commitment fee for the enrolment.

Yeah! They are quite organised. When some issues needed to be addressed, they were bombarding me with mails so as to make the corrections.
What about accomodation? Are u staying off-campus or on-campus? Were you required to pay full fee or fee for the 1st 12 months?
I like the school sha for its ranking and research. I think its should be no 3 or 4 in ranking by research.

Sir, you have said it all, but you have omitted one thing. It should be "an educated man, passionate about his profession or career ..."
The problem of some sectors in Nigeria is the lack of passion. Our police force, educational system and others are in shambles today cos there is no passion from the players.
The officers that are more civil in their responsibilities are so cos of their passion for their work, and that is why they stand on integrity and rule of law. The question that beckons answer is "how many are passionate about their work?" Even with the so called policy of NPF now, which I regard as not so good, how many passionate people will they recruit into the force?
The so called lecturers that mark their students down at our universities are doing so cos they lack passion for raising future leaders tomorrow.

I have been experiencing problems with downloading files on my blackberry phone with Etisalat subscription on it. As soon as it gets to a 2%, it goes off. Just a file of 15mb in size.
What could have been wrong?

That one is a lazy break o cos it's been off air since last month. What of France 24? Is it obtainable on MultiTv? Real Tv is no longer broadcasting AlJazeera but DW.

I know the thread is for MultiTv, I agree, but some of us use both My and Multi Tvs together and if you read my last post, you will discover that I said my decoder got spoilt and just got it done yesterday.
So my brother, I didn't intend to put religious sentimentality here or create an unnecessary scenario.
Should I seek the house's opinion wrongly, pardon me.

thuggle: it might possibly be the diseqc which you're using.. try changing the positions or replace it

I will try dt tomorrow.
The decoder will come up and not show any signal on d decoder screen. Don't know what could av been the problem.

I have Done dat bro, no solution. Each time i changed 4rm Multi Tv to My Tv, n wanted 2 change baCk 2 MultiTV, multi Tv channels wouldn't show, all else i switch off the Decoder n ON it again..am Tired

Tech experts in d house, please help solve this issue. I can't even go further to profer any solution cos my decoder has packed-up.

When I used to live with mum,there was a neighbor that was attacked with swollen leg. She has been to everywhere but all to no avail. And mum a new winners chapel member was given anointing oil which she applied on the woman's leg.
Behold brethren,before the morning of the next day the swollen leg was restore to normal but when my mum shared what she experienced during the night I couldn't help but laughed. She said,she was beating in the dream by elderly women for loosing the woman they bondaged. Being JJC in christ,she was restless the next morning, and I laughed so tey water commot for my eyes.
That very day I was marvelled at the work of anointing oil. Anointing is very right.

I believe ur testimony. But d truth is dt we don't always need d oil to do everything we do in the body of Christ.
And besides, d faith of ur mother in God through d use of d anointing oil coupled with that oppressed woman's faith made God to step into action.

The issue of anointing oil has been abused by our brothers and sisters in Christ and made to look like a 'lick and speak' charm. I don't need to be looking for anointing oil all around when the Holy Ghost can work through any medium. Remember, Jesus used spit to heal the blind. Why don't we now have anointed spits?
Like Goshen said, d anointing represents the Holy Spirit, and the use of anointing oil is good and symbolises allowing the Holy Spirit to work through the oil, but it has been turned into a ritual these days by many of us.

Segun agagu: Am also a mfm member..don't mind peole here..its nt even only mfm dat uses annointing oil...much spiritual churches do and even good pastors...I really love my church...MFM for life..Best church in d WORLD..

My brother, I am not against ur point on annointing oil at all, but I am against ur post, viz;
1. 'Much spiritual churches'. There is nothing like that. Every church of Christ is a spiritual church and the personal chruch, u and me now, makes up the congregational church. It's not d building.
2. 'Best church in d world'. So all other churches are not best abi? This issue of kingdom segregation is really affecting d body of Christ. FYI, I don't attend MFM, but I don't joke Dr D.K's messages cos he is a prophet and part of the 5 messengers sent to d church (Eph 4:11-13). My church may not av a prophet, but a prophet is in anoda church. That prophet isn't meant for his church alone, but every church of Christ. Besides that, there is no perfect church on earth, we are all moving towards it. Where does d best now come in? As far as I am concerned, I cancelled denominationalism in my life some years back cos it's not helping us. Christ prayed for d unity of faith (John 17:11), where are we now going?
I attend Winners' Chapel and you will hear our ppl say "I'm a winner!", does that mean all other Christians not attending LFC are loosers? No! To me, I am a winner because I am in Christ, not becos I am attending a church. This attitude is responsible for discrimination against some churches by the same member of the body of Christ. Quite unfair.
I am not criticising u o, my brother. We all belong to Christ.
May God help us all (Amen).

Blofeld: Good day good people. My Multi Tv on Eutelsat W4 stopped working some days back. I rescanned my Strong 4669x to no avail and later discovered that my neighbours aren't getting Multi Tv either. My installer is speaking too much grammer and I realize he wants to make a storm out of a tea cup so that I will have to pay high. Pls anyone who can guide me to get multitv back can send me instructions at oponecn@gmail.com. Thanks and God bless!

Try check out the way I fixed a little problem I had, by checking for a new frequency, and see whether it could work. But I think experts in the house would supply you a piece of info very soon.

@R2bees, just enter the frequency and polarity manually and there u get ur channel.
