Lucasinho: am using different decoder SRT 4329, can't locate the motorised setting submenu. Am confused. More over am using 28.0E Astra 3A 3B 4 the MultiTV...PLz help me, am left alone...Press Menu on ur remote, then u should see d Lists such as: Installation, System Settings, Channels and others. The Installation menu will be highlighted in blue, then u will see the submenus under Installation by the right hand side. The sub menu list include; Dish Setting, Motorised Setting, Auto Scan and others. In case u didn't see d Motorised Setting, try Dish Setting by pressing OK. Try to look for d frequency where the quality and level bars will turn green, as against red they are showing. Try dt and let's see. After that, u now leave d Dish Setting sub-menu and now autoscan for channels. |
R2bees: is your kktv workingThe 2 KkTV channels and Elijah Tv are not working |
sunny78: what tape of decoder are you usein?I use SRT 4669 XII. Av rectified d issue but ur idea will be appreciated. |
I made a double post, I'm sorry. |
I have rectified it. Went to menu, then entered d motorised setting submenu. Changed d frequency of the multi tv (sitting on 28.2E Astra 2ABD) to 12.618 GHz (v), the frequency gave me green indicators. I saved d settings and auto scanned for d channels. 16 channels showed on this frequency and afterwards, saved the channels and exit. Afterwards, changed the channels to MyTV channels and went back to multiTV channels and got d channels back. |
I use MultiTv and MyTV together on d same decoder but d problem now is dt anytime I change the channels from Multi to MyTV, d MultiTV lost channels loose signal until I blindscan it again. Any solution, house? |
dorox: Where you there when this illiterate old woman miraculously spoke in a language she did not previously understand. or you heard the story from someone who heard it from someone who heard it from someone... who heard it from someone that heard it from 'them say'?Thanks for your observation. I wasn't there when it happened but I got it from a confirmed source because I was in a Bible study class that day. Moreover, I know someone speak in Swahili language (just speaking in tongue) but he never understood the language at all. Fortunately for him, a Swaziland citizen was there when he was just praying. After the incident happened, the Swaziland man now told him everything he said. He said the speaker was actually praying against an accident which was bound to happen to a particular man (though the man was unknown). Acts 2 gives a first hand evidence of this happening. |
When some people speak in tongues, the language can be some other peoples' language, whose country or land has never been. There was a case like that in which an illiterate old woman was speaking in tongue but the language she was speaking was English. It happened in Ilesa, Osun State. The woman never understood English, neither could she recite ABC. We have tongues of men and that of angels and that is why it is being referred to as 'diverse kinds of tongues.' What many believers speak as tongue are tongues of angels, I.e languages on no one, and can only be interpreted by the Giver of that gift Himself, the Holy Ghost. |
jennykadry: Ok if i understand you well, you want to do a post grad programme first before the masters degree, right? So if the university is willing to offer you a masters program, which by the way you are planning to undertake in the nearest future, why would you want a post grad programme tha you will do and still need to do the same masters you are being offered? Do I make sense?Thank you for your words and I am sorry for replying to it late. Actually, I don't think I will be offered the Masters straight (not being pessimistic though) because I am moving in to another line entirely. I did Physics at my undergraduate and now want to change it to Engineering at Postgraduate. That is why I am applying for PGD first. |
^^^ Thank you sir. I have tried it o but not working well. |
It's like KKTV's name has been changed because I can no longer find it on the channels' list after I scanned the decoder. Please enlighten me on this. Besides, the audio produced is very low. Hardly can I hear what is been broadcast at all. What do I do? |
jennykadry: @redreactI am sorry for replying late. What I meant was that I wanted to apply for an postgraduate diploma in engineering at the university of Adelaide so that I can go further into masters of engineering program since I studied Physics and before I can go for a masters degree program in engineering, I need to have a postgraduate diploma in engineering. The graduate secretary now said I can't do PGD but I can only apply for Masters degree and then opt out of the program to graduate with a postgraduate diploma in engineering (that is d meaning of postgraduate diploma as an entry program). My question then was now to know you if you had idea about postgraduate diploma as an exit program in any Australian universities, you should explain more. N.B: In my previous post, I mentioned Sydney. Pardon my error. I meant Adelaide. |

^^^ Generically, you can give advice on marital issues without being married, but when you enter it, you will discover that cases are different. A professor in marriage therapy or counselling (I've forgotten now) was counselling married men and women but his own home was in shambles, I mean serious one. Generally speaking, you, as an unmarried person, can give advice on marriage issues but when you get married yourself, you would discover that your pieces of advice wouldn't work in your own home. Marriage is a very very sensitive institute that only requires wisdom of God to school in it and succeed. Good morning! |
Oladat, please I would like to contact you. Which side do you stay in Ibadan? Can you please give me your mail address? |
toba: lets talk divorce abitWhat a pity! Surely, that is the evidence of mis-marrying. Biblically speaking, he is not meant to divorce and if he were to do so, he shouldn't re-marry. Re-marriage after divorce, when the other part is still alive, is adultery. |
justsmile: kk... i get your point! lol.... yea, though we are saved by grace, i still think we need to work on character! Going to church is even meant to mould our character by the Word. it's said what you see in church at times! In that case guys, go for a believer with character..... Kapish?!!!The scripture says we should work out our salvation with trembling and fear (Phil 2:12). We have being declared righteous before the Father, but we are left with the responsibility of working out the deeds of righteousness (John 15:1) and that is what we christians need to keep doing (1 Cor 9:27). |
Pls, I want 2 use dis medium 2 ask dis question: As a Christian lady, wt do u expect a Christian brother to say wen approaching you 4 a r/ship? Shud it b d "usuals"? Cos sm people will go with "God said..." and in the end, the r/ship might nt lead 2 marriage. So Ladies, r u expecting him to jst toast u plainly witout inputing "God said dis n God said that".
Though I believe God can still show a person his/her spouse but common sense requires that such a person keeps silent about it and go ahead in the approach and watch how God unfolds His plans. I am yet to see a man that God told he would be given a car by Mr A and now go ahead and tell Mr A what God said. Though God spoke, yet he will wait for God to work out what He has spoken. |
Zeebah23: Trusting 'believers' might not b a gud idea. Dey cum lyk sheep but dey r wolves. Dey lure u into sin using d Bible. I met a lady who was a virgin and went in2 a relationship wit a fellow believer. Each time d bro demands 4 sex, d lady reminds him dat d bed must b undefiled,d bro wud in turn say God undastands how we feel hence d verse 'd spirit is willing but d flesh is weak' or dat we r unda grace . This concept of grace has bin misundastood *dat's a topic 4 anoda day* d so-called brethren give u examples of Men of God dat had s*x b4 marriage, dey tend 2 4get dat God shud b their standard! Don't b decieved by der activities in church. A sister got in2 a relationship wit an active broda (prayer warrior and evangelism cord) in her church who told her 2 stop wearing trousers and make-up. Ordinarily, one wud think dis broda is out 2 remould her buh d reverse is d case. She was defiled by d broda. So,i'l advice evri1 2 b careful and prayerful. Dos who av it shud kip it, dos who av lost it can still retrace their steps. A guy once told me he couldn't stop coz he was careless and he fell into sin,so felt he shud continue since he was no longer a virgin. If u r wit dis mindset, lemme ask u dis question, what happened to celibacy. Retrace ur step and go celibate. May God help us all.If you hear what some church-going (not christian) brothers do, you will be surprised. A brother impregnated a girl in his church and was saying that the Holy Spirit said he should do (arrant nonsense). Many times, we the christian brethren also allow emotions to becloud our sense of reasoning. Truthfully speaking, I will be careful when staying with a sister that is heavy-chested because I find that to make me think somehow. As God will have it for me, majority of ladies I come in contact with are not that 'big-sized' like that. If I know I would be visiting a lady that is 'big-sized' in the upper region, I will first of all commit my flesh unto self-discipline and also pour out my mind sincerely unto God and He has helped me many times without number. One thing I like myself is that by the time I am getting to lust after a lady, I will always call my self to my sense and go away from there. Everybody battles lust, myself inclusive, but we need to understand what fuels lust and what we can do to make us defeat lust that is creeping in like a snake. May God help us. |
toba: whats delaying u? are u also waiting for a very rich guy?Rev'd Sam Adeyemi said something that the time he got married, he had nothing at all except books he had been reading to uplift his life. He went further to say if it had been today's world, no lady would have married him. Why am I saying this? We need to look beyond the outward when considering marriage and remember that there is always a reason for a man to marry a woman (Gen 2:24). |
Abbott: I think I need perspectives on this issue. I should get over it though. But i will love a woman that is not thin or fat, especially after child bearing. If it is otherwise, wouldnt love her any less. There is what Economists call the Law of Diminishing Returns. When we get married, some physical structures of our bodies are intact and after some time, they start diminishing. It's normal and that is why we must love our spouses beyond the physical, I.e agape love. |
Gracious10: More reason u should wait till u know what u want. Confusion issues must be dealt with before u involve another serious focused person into a relationship. This issue Abbot raised is a 2-way thing to me. As far as human beings are concerned, we will have physical likes for our spouses because man is a spirit being with a soul and lives in a body. We must not be bent on looking for spirit and neglect the soul and body and vice-versa. If a man prays and God shows him a lady He wants to give him, such a man should go ahead and neglect all other qualities (both spiritual and physical) he wants her to possess. If, on the other hand, the Lord does not show him anything, he might lay the request (e.g lord, I like a lady that is 6 feet 2 inches tall, etc) before the Father as he is presenting his desires to Him. Above all, when God presents His will, we will not like it at all but we should just neglect our wish and follow Him "blindly and stupidly" by faith. |
justsmile: pls can you guys explain or define 'church sister' cos i don't get it! Just like Joyce Meyer would say, "cos a 'car' is parked in a garage, doesn't make it a car". ( pardon me if i didn't quote her correctly).... So pls you and David should clarify this pls! By their fruit, you know them. Spirituality is not in going to church but in doing the Word! Simple! The Lord Jesus said not everybody that is calling Him Lord will enter the kingdom of God. You hav already said it all in this statement "Spirituality is not in going to church but in DOING (LIVING) the Word." Many people we see in church are 'die-hard' church goers but not believers that live the Word. |
Happy birthday to all Octoberians born on the 2nd of this wonderful month. Remember, we cannot afford to let our country down because we own Nigeria! You will live ur days in plenty, joy, peace, progress and prosperity. October 2 folks, let the party begin!!! |
Yes they will reply, might just take them 3-5days
It's over 5 days now, going to 11 days. |
You mean you sent a mail to WES? They may not reply. You can call them instead but be ready to be on hold for like 30mins. Just check their website you can get all informations there.
Yes, I sent a mail to then. I will try calling them. Maybe imperiouxx can also shed more light about this. |
toba: U can set a test and them tell God to allow the correct person to pass. I'll give u an example. sometime in 2010, two pastors invited my pastor to minister in their church respectively on the same day. My pastor was contemplating on which he wanted to attend. He said he prayed to God that since he doesnt want to disappoint any of them. He said anyone them who visits him after that Sunday's service, will be the person out of the two that he would be attending his church. Behold one of them came about 5mins before we shared the grace that day/. My pastor decided to say it openly to the congregation.Taat is called fleecing. It is not meant to be used at all times, just as you said. At times, why God may not show many of us is because we have a prototype in our hearts and now tell God to show who to marry. If we now ask God to show us, we tend to get dissapointed in it. One thing I have learnt about God is that he is multi-dimensional in His works. In 2008, the Lord brought a lady my way. This lady, I didn't like her at all because far back in 2004, she did something I didn't like at all. At that time, I never knew her name and she never knew mine. When it got to 2008, I was having problem with myself because of this lady and I resulted into prayers and even told 2 of my bosom friends and a spiritual mother too. Though the girl put up a dubious attitude, but what surprised me most was the way the Lord brought the lady came my way |
davidylan: One thing I find out over the course of the last few years.... My best experiences with women have been those who were not "card carrying church members". It's as if the girls on the outside seem to understand what true submission, respect and how to relate with a man far far better than your regular bible thumpers who are ready to argue with u over the smallest things. What you are insinuating about church ladies is true. Many of Christian ladies allow their lives, especially marital life, to be run by world's standard and thereby getting confused themselves. A church lady played some kind of pranks on me, in fact, she played the game well and I made up my mind never to be interested in any of these so called church sisters. The truth therein is that we have 90% of church sisters/brothers but 10% of christian sisters/brothers. What can we do then? Ask God for His leading because there are many deceivers in our churches these days. |
Still on this WES, can evaluated transcripts be sent to institutions outside of North America? I am considering sending my transcripts to WES and from them send it to any school I want. Let the folks enlighten more on this WES should be able to send your evaluated credential to any part of the world but it will be more expensive and will take much longer when compared to sending to schools in North America. You can get all this information on WES website. I recommend you check their website to get more accurate informations.
Thank you sir. I have sent a mail to them last week but have not been replied back. I wouldn't mind if it is expensive and would take a longer time cos my school is a brother to snail in terms of processing transcripts. Till now, since last year, my transcript is not out and I heard that I would resolve into tipping, after normal payment, and some of these foreign schools require more than one copies of an applicant's transcript. |
Gracious10: Another question I will ask:From my own perspective, God gave eternity to man, that is his will for him, but man forfeited the will of God by disobeying Him. The fact that God says Sis A is a partner to Bro B does not mean that they will automatically be together forever if they neglect their own personal works and responsibility. |
toba: @those over 25 and ur parents are still together, have asked how the marriage is/was successful?I've watched my parents closely and I discovered that they don't hold offences against each other. When I was young, I used to think all faults were committed by my father while my mother was an angel but now discovered that my mother too would be at faults just as my father too, but they chose to let love prevail. The main thing is that we should always apply is Ephesians 5:22-33. |
