Career › Re: Telecommunication: Msc Physics Or Msc EE After MCITP by RedReact: 9:54pm On Apr 09, 2012
EE has options in Telecoms, that was why I gave the suggestion. Besides, Physics is not taught to the fullest degree here in Nigeria but it is the best if outside of the shores of the country.
All the best.
Career › Re: Why The Comparism Btwn Physicists And Mathematicians? by RedReact: 5:13pm On Apr 09, 2012
Mathematics is the mother of Physics. I studied Physics and I can never compare myself with a mathematician. What would have changed the orientation of some physicists about mathematics is the way they teach the course in Nigeria. Physics in Nigerian schools is all the theory of mathematics but crossing over the land, it is a different game entirely. Everything happening in Physics in mainly from mathematics.
Physics and EE? There is a difference between them (though our schools tried to put interest of Nigerian studenst back into Physics by introducing Physics with Electronics).

M.Sc in Physics (Communication Physics) too will do but I don't know how they do it here in Nigeria. Considering the Nigerian factor, go for M.Sc in EE because M.Sc in Physics may be compilation and computation of mathematical equations.
All the best.

rman: Mukina,

Why not use these metrics to judge:

1) Availability of the netwrok (These include coverage area}, People can tell what their experience are in remote areas of the country
2) Quality of the netwrok ( Call success rate and clarity of calls)
3) Tariffs
4) Products ( eg, Family and friends MTN, Club 10 airtel, home zone Etisalat etc). Who has the most products and how flexible is it.
5) Data quality ( BB, Modems etc). How good each operators own is.
6) Customer service and
7) Corporate social responsibility

You can put all of these on a scale of 1 - 10 and let people judge.

Otherwise, what you are going to get will not be a true reflection of who is the best

Personally, I don't think C-S responsibility shld be used as a criterium. Like I said earlier on, each network has its high point over others. If not for pocket-friendliness, mtn would have carried d flag; but what is d use of a network with considering economic advantage.

Each network has its adv ova d rest.
In terms of call rates, Glo is d numero uno followd by Airtel and Etigbangba while mtn is not pocket-friendly.
In terms of data services, Etigbangba takes d no 1 slot, while Glo is following Bumpa-2-Bumpa and Airtel is also rocking good. If mtel were 2 be available, I wulda giv dem no 3. Mtn? Der head no dey dere.
In terms of network coverage, Mtn is ruling dt class followed closely by Airtel while Etigbagba takes no 3 slot and Glo, ...

@OP, it's normal 4 u 2 xperience dat cos we are all sexual beings (weda born again or born against). Many av gone thru same and many are still going thru it. When my friend got in2 a relationship wiv her hubby, she had d same and told guy and dy both handled it through God's help without trangressing till dy got married. Same thing wiv ma friends of same sex (all of us are nt married except though). Ma advice is dt u can't handle it alone but with ur Makers help, u won't fall off d path. If u get invovled wiv oda activities, d energy will be diverted to dt activity but atimes our hormones can be stubborn too. Just proceed wiv a determined and purposed mind just as Daniel and Joseph did.
All is well dear!!!

Psychologically, she might be traumatised but what you do to establish trust in her heart is what is required now. She is relating with you based on the past connection you had and at the same time, she is nurturing something in her heart: 'all men are the same'. Just give her some time to allow the past to die down (not so easy though) and be patient with her. I urge you to go for her as your heart dictates. Listen to your heart!
As per your parents, no need to hide it from them because that might have a repercursion at the end. Just let them know everything. All the best bro!
