The best and only antidote to divorce is never to make the mistake of 'mis-marrying'. Thus we need to ask God to give us our husbands/wives just as the scripture says "he who marries a wife (not a girl or lady) ..." There are many ladies/gentlemen out there but few wives/husbands.

Still on this WES, can evaluated transcripts be sent to institutions outside of North America?
I am considering sending my transcripts to WES and from them send it to any school I want. Let the folks enlighten more on this.

Guitarlife: Did you read the whole post ? I am not talking from inference here, I practically took the words out of the mouth of Jesus. Mathew 5:32 is clear enough though it may appeared skewed due to what 'pastors' have made it look like.
The key word is FORNICATION AND NOT ADULTERY. Adultery is a non-issue, the panacea for adultery is forgiveness except you think Jesus made a mistake and meant to say adultery.
We should learn to put our emotions at bay when dividing the word. This is even clear enough, no ambiguity. If you are having doubts please reread my post.
God bless you.
I will go through the post again and re-read from Matthew 5 again, but the essence of no divorce is FORGIVENESS.
To be frank with ourselves, if we Christians would love our spouses just as Christ loved the church, there won't be any break-ups whatsoever.

There is or will be nothing like a perfect man/woman on this earth, but people moving towards perfection. If only we would let God do His work in our lives, we would definitely see a great change in our lives.
One thing that is evident among us Christians is that we only accepted Christ as Saviour but the Lordship of Christ in our lives is still not absolute, despite us calling Him Lord.

Guitarlife: In essence you have no right as a christian to call of a relationship note not marriage now, a relationship unless your fiancee has commited fornication.
A courtship can still be broken because it has not been sealed by a priest unlike marriage.
The issue of divorce being talked about in Matthew 5 dated far back to the book of Malachi. God word goes against divorce in marriage, but in case 'divorce is inevitable' the Bible states it clear that none of the couple should re-marry because it amounts to committing adultery.

What thing I have personally about we Christians is that we tend to keep things to ourselves and thus, the devil plays a fast one on us.
Toba did a very great thing today because he has saved another brother from making a mistake that can cost him much.
Christians tend to talk about many things with each other, but when it comes to marital or intimacy issues, we grow cold yet being beaten on the inside.
It's not easy keeping faith in this present age, especially marital issues but we can still be guided through to the path of victory if only we don't walk alone.
Guitarlife, I want to commend your openness and sincerity. May God continue to uphold us all and keep us in faith (Amen).

Except Wednesday when there was no connection to the remote computer and yesterday when the speed was slow and frustrating, airtel has been good for me. Their wide 3G network coverage makes me enjoy their service.

jennykadry: Sorry but nope. Everyone here is on this thread to learn. Ask your questions here and if I can, I will answer them. smiley
I understand you.
I wanted to ask if you had an idea about graduate diploma as an exit program.
I asked the graduate studies unit at the university of sydney about it and she said it's for those who would want to go for masters degree program but then exit with postgraduate diploma.
In Nigeria, postgraduate diploma serves as a bridge to masters degree if a student is changing from one discipline to another discipline, though the 2 disciplines must be related.
This is what I wanted you to explain to me and why I requested for your mail. You can address this here should you have an explanation to give concerning it.
Thanks and really appreciate your contribution.

MUNEER2: Pls, stop mentioning AJIMOBI'S name here. Stop mocking OYO STATE citizens.
With such enthusiasm he displayed during his campaign, one will think a messah has come, expectations still high, and a year of nothing worth showing for
...what a failure!
God bless you brother. The guy is not different from Akala at all. The guy was sentimentally voted in because people thought good governance was based on party, as their ACN brought it then to the state. Now I believe that it's about personality and not party. Afterall, bad PDP produced wonderman Akpabio.

^^^
The emphasis in the present day Nigeria is on grades and I would not lay any blame because the market is over-saturated, as many people are chasing few available things. That is why it's expected of people with low class grades to work on themselves and be confident in themselves.
Failure is good because it motivates us to bring out our best.

@Ajanlekoko,
U said you graduated with 2-2. If I am right, I will say I am finding it difficult to believe because you have always presented yourself very superbly. I noticed it in one thread for physics graduates and I was appalled.
Kudos to you!

Romance › Re: Why Do Men Do This? by RedReact: 3:01pm On Apr 28, 2012
DailyNews: In every relationship that failed, the girl should be blamed outrightly, u know y? cos if she didn't accept the guy into her life, who is he to hurt her? and u know what again? girls in nigeria, always accept a guy for a date out of selfish desires & ruthless wants & immediate gratification, and on the long run they start to cry wolf that all men are bad, where was that proven & written down? y must u compromise your value, love for God with the dumbness to have sex to protect a futureless relationship? finally, girls only pray when choosing a husband, though not all, but they hardly or never pray when choosing a boyfriend becos they chose boyfriends out of material quest & selfish desires, and after they must have been well dealt with, used several times & dumped, they turn to monalisa and become born agains to lure innocent men into their dubious net, it doesn't always work! always make the right choice first, stop accepting worthless guys out of ur selfish desires and u won't have any need or reason to cry. real, decent, well to do guys that need u, u don't always give em time or chance, but u go fall cheaply for unworthy guys, so why are u shouting??
God will continue to increase ur wisdom.
The mistake many guys n ladies make is the lack of vision. Sugar-coated words abound these days and many ppl will go xtra miles to get what they want or better still, take advantage of others; but only those who know where they are going can know the kinds of people they will allow into their worlds.
Christianity Etc › Re: Can Christians Lose Their Salvation? by RedReact: 2:08pm On Apr 28, 2012
Aparche: I tell you, If it were a guarantee that anyone who is saved now, will always be saved (forever!) without the possibility of backsliding or becoming apostate; being a true Christian in this world would have been very easy indeed. The way and gate to life wouldn’t have been so narrow (Matt.7:14), all that would have been required of us would be: to repent- believe in Jesus –accept him into our lives-be baptized & then THAT’S IT! We could then go right ahead to live our lives the way WE WANT (good or bad? doesn’t matter, after all we are already saved). In fact, the devil wouldn’t even have been bothering himself fighting & opposing any Christian; because he will know that whoever is saved is lost to his kingdom forever. But this is not the case; instead believers are in a constant battle with the devil, the world and their flesh. This should be enough to tell you that the devil knows he still has a chance of destroying us.
Brethren, you had better work out your salvation with fear & trembling, and stop believing the lies of the devil. Strive to be HOLY, RIGHTEOUS & GODLY in this present world otherwise you will never see God. Amen
Thank you for this.
Once saved, forever saved is a false doctrine. Some great men of faith believe this doctrine but that does not make it right because only God's word is infallible.

I don nack my head for ground o cos of lafta. In fact, ds guys no go kill pesin.

DailyNews: lol....are these guys still dropping these their numbers pls?...lol...SMH! Something is wrong somewhere, but don't forget ur dealing with Nigerian ladies...the most proudest humans on planet EARTH for Csake! Guys, believe me, this won't ever work! Go get a job, a business, a career, etc, make money, try & be successful, pray & get urself a good car & a nice apartment, & Nigerian ladies of all class & status are yours to choose from. but if u fail to achieve the above things & u think u can have miracle here, sorry for u cos most Nigerian ladies coming here to search are also searching for GOLD & DIAMOND MINES TO MINE! Others are fishy with dubious intentions, while the remaining others are either over-aged, fugly, ill-mannered or just here to catch fun & to mock u guys, so my advice is that u guys get financial working life & leave Nigerian ladies online for Csake, cos it doesn't work!
Tell'em once again o brova.
