The thing is my hospital won't give us directly the scan result. The sonographer sends it to the gynaecologist's system and during your appointment with him, he updates you on any issue, if any. I didn't ask of baby's gender. I was just so positive and sure it was XX. The symptoms I had was totally different from my first son's. Sweet tooth and the likes...

The thing is my hospital won't print scan result out for us, they only send it to the gynaecologist's system. If you ask the sonographer's any question, they will direct you to the gynae. So, I didn't bother asking the gynae during my appointment for the gender of my baby. I was so certain it was a girl . My symptoms were completely different from that of my first son. Sweet tooth and the likes...

What you mentioned are not symptoms of nta. Her hand in a fist at 2 months is still very normal. Groaning when pooing or farting can be attributed to colic.

My DD of 2 months always keeps her hand in a fist. She rarely opens it wide and let it be open. Our neighbour is suggesting that my DD has might have 'nta' (in igbo). She said that 'nta' will not allow my DD to put on adequate weight. I kinda agree with the weight issue cos her birth weight was 4.3kg and her weight at 6 weeks was 5.3kg. Aside the weight issue + groaning when pooping or farting, my DD does not have any other significant issue I know.
Please sabi mamas, is there such a thing? If there is, what is the remedy? Please help me.

Team March o! Come get me

After I lost a pregnancy in January, when I was to be measuring 11 weeks, sonographer said 7 weeks with no fetal pole. Repeat scan wasn't better. I had to evacuate. Alas! God did it again. So my sisters, never despair.

EDD is March 16. I don't know sex for now.

I need help or advice before I run mad.
My son does not sleep through out the day, as I am typing this he is still wide awake doing what I don't know. He will pretend to sleep after I force him but before you say jack he is up again.
Secondly, he doesn't avoid what i have explained to him to stay away from even after giving him a size appropriate spanking that should drive the message home. I mean things like going close to the gas when its on, pouring sliced bread all over the floor (for play, he is not hungry o), climbing stabilizer to climb the deep freezer. Somebody should tell me its normal stage or whatever. He is 2 years and 8 months. I have found myself spanking him too much recently, I feel bad about it. Thanks mamas
