Hello House, 9ja is a country riddled with corrupt govt officials, I don't see what business NDLEA and even NAFDAC has with laptops and other IT items. Normally for dutiable items, you have to pay, and for laptops, it is 5% of total value of goods, and other minor saundry chages which are less than 3%. I ship through DHL and that is what I pay, most time DHL contacts me with the value and account information, I pay and submit the teller by hand of scanned to their email and within 48 hours, they deliver. If NDLEA or NAFDAC invites you, then there is another thing to this and it has to do with asking you lots of impossible questions like the invoice of goods, evidence of payment, and all sorts, and all these are targetted at making it impossible for you to get your goods so that they can ask for bribe (egunje) so please be informed, IT products, laptops, and computers attracts 5% duty, while knockdown IT products/spare or assembly parts are duty free as at OBJ's tenure. God bless you all. |
Biodun, please tell your landlord or the owner of the property you want to let that he is a tribalistic person, and with this attitude, Nigeria cannot move forward as a national entity. Please next time you publish property for letting, don't make that remark "yoruba tenants" it does not conote nationality and undermine the safety of non yorubas in event of political crisis as we all saw what happened in the northern part of Nigeria during the elections. |

Multi choice is under performing in customer service. The monopoly enjoyed by Multichoice should be broken because the services are getting worse by the day. 1. When you pay to renew subscribtion, you have to call 012703232 to notify Multichoice that you have paid sio that they can re-activate you. Now, the unacceptable thing here is that the number is not Toll Free, you payd for every second you spend on phone for a service that is supposed to be Toll Free, secondly, when your call goes through, multichoice palys you series of advert ranging from Big Brother Africa, to other services offered by Multichoice on DSTV, all on our money thereby wasting our time and money. Is it right that Nigerians should spend money calling Multi choice for a service that should be toll free as obtained in other countries. This was the case with GSM operation, but that God they were forced to provide customers with Toll free number via which people can lay complaints. 2. When you pay your subcription in advance hoping to be rolled over when the current subscription expires, it never happens, and when you call multichoice through out the day, you are told that the number is busy all day long. Nairalanders, is this is right way to treat Nigerian customer who are also the largest maret for Multichoice in Nigeria. I think it is high time we stood up against injustice in the market place ochestated by this South African country. It is high time the monopoly is broken. I use this medium to clal on all Nigerians to boycott services offered by Multichoice and let us demand better treatment, toll free numbers so that when they play their adverts, we know we are not paying for it. Nigerians! Stand up and demand your rights. |

CAN president has made his point, but I think that the man called Buhari should have a rethink an because by now he should be convinced that he wouldn't have been able to take this great country out of socio-political and economic woods. |
Please Nlanders, the gory picture I saw about burnt dead bodies littered everywhere, is it a recent picture or the picture of past violence. Please people should post recent happenings in the country so we can have a clear update on the electoral issue. About Buhari, it is apparently clear now that he is not a patroitic Nigerian, i see him as a pretenders, and only God knows what Nigeria would have turned into had he won the election. Having overthrown a democratic govt in the past, he has no business seeking democratic position in this country, and that is where we are getting it wrong, people like that should be banned from politics, because he is a cameleon. There is nothing is rejecting result, they all rigged election, and the best rigger won, however, how did Buhari think he could win in south, he forgot that the election was all about personality, not party level this time, and Jonathan as an individual won the hearts of many Nigerians, and as result Nigerians gave hinm their vote. Buhari and his followers should hink analytically and stop this violence. By the way where is our outspoken pastor Tunde Bakare, why is he silent, or is he also supporting violence when I know that he know the best way to seek redress is through the justice system. |
@ Sharaf-G Well said bro, Nigeria has come a very long way. Religion is not to be considered in our political terrain. Nigeria must move forward, and we all hope that GEJ will bring transformation and the change we all need in Nigeria. GOD Bless Nigeria, and GOD bless us all. |
@Mobinga It takes only an insane man to call for violence against the other religious denomiation in the country. I think you should think well in the right direction to make positive impact to humanity and to Nigerians, and not call for violence, because any one who calls for violence does not have the interest of Nigerian at heart. I must remind you that the Almighty GOD that we all serve, is not a GOD of violence, and take note, he who kills by the sword certainly will die by the sword. We have several examples of what violence no matter in what form; can cause in a nation, please take cuation when you make statements on public forum like Nairaland. If you feel agreived about the outcome of the election, it does not call for violence, lets all be partrotic Nigerians, we cannot move Nigeria forward with violence or such auterances as you have made on this widely respected forum, please desist from such statements. GOD Bless us all, and GOD Bless Nigeria. |

Fidelity Bank, the best in town, best customer service, always willing to help you further, best service delivery right on time. Strong and reliable to bank with. The bank is very friendly, NOT snobbish like other banks who don't even care if a customer walked into the bank hall or not. I have never spent more than 10 minutes even when customers are many. Another good bank is GT bank, but they are snobbish, they need to reshuffle the customer service staffs, they need more training on customer relations and the importance of attending to the needs of a customer. So switch to Fidelity, you have no better option. Seriously. |
The best thing to do is to report to GTbank about the fraudulent and narrate the incidence and let the bank invite the account holder for a meeting to clear himself at the bank premises, if the account holder is found wanting, he should be handed over to the police for proper investigation and prosecution. It is simple, but if the bank refuses to do so, the it means that the bank is aiding and abetting fraud in Nigeria and should be reported to CBN. |
I don't see any reason why people should first of all waste half of the day doing accreditation, when would the voting start, when will it end, somewhere in Ojodu, people reported at the polling centre to chel their name for accreditation, alas! Just one name on the voters register, what now happens to the rest of the electorate? Nigeria's got a very long way to go. May God Bless Nigeria. |
Hello nairalanders, Jega has jega jagad the electoral process, it is part of the failure of the PDP led government, do not be dismayed, we must vote PDP out of power no matter what it takes, just take the step to vote and stand to defend it, and I can assure you that PDP will not stand, they can only survive in fraudulent environment. God Bless Nigeria. NB: this goes to the youths of Nigeria, we have to stand up and kick PDP out of office. God Bless 9ja. |
