@ Beaf, and all who have supported the removal of subsidy. Please sir, what is the average landing cost of PMS in Lagos port ?? Have you done your research to find out how much lands PMS in our ports here in Nigeria ? If you can get this information, you will see that the subsidy thing is just a big scam being pulled on all Nigerians by our government. I have first hand information from a bank officer whose banks facilitated credits for importation of PMS into Nigeria, and copies of Letters of credit (L/C) facilitating the transactions are readily available, and to tell you a fact, we should not be buying PMS at more than 55 naira per litre at least in Lagos, Ibadan, Oyo, Ogun states and maybe between 60 to 65 Naira per litre in other states including the northern states. The landing cost of PMS as shown the L/Cs averages between 40 Naira to 48 naira per litre (depending of foreign exchange rate of course) I am not against government raising money to develop the country, but not at the expense of the lives and security of Nigerians. We can all see what rot our government officials are made of in these on-going subsidy probe, can we still standing tall to say that subsidy is actually or up to 1.3 trillion for 2011 ?? This is a big question we should all be asking now. Figures have been given for subsidy claims paid for more than 5 years running and even with the corruption in the system, yearly increase in the number of cars and generators used in the country, it still hovered around 300 billion naira per annum. |
Drummerbooooyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, haba, wetin happen to your english, abegiiiiiiiiiiiii. |

fake story, how can he not be able to even buy/build a house in Abuja even up till today, this is unbelievable. |
very soon, banana go run monkey belle. |
any day dangote cement is exported, i will kill one cow for a party to celebrate. This is non sense, he is just a politician. Guys, check this, how much is cement sold in Nigeria today, how much is the landing cost of cement in Lagos, and other African countries, today Nigerians pay highest for cement. Other countries would rather import from Asia than buy from Nigeria at highest price, the reason is simple, if they buy from Nigeria, they will not be able to compete with imports from Asia. But I know this is Nigeria, dangote can take cement to Ghana and sell at 1,000 naira per bag, while we buy at close to 2,000 naira per bag back home, don't be surprised. I have family friends in Ghana, and from what they told me, the same LPG cooking gas we buy 3,300 per 12.5kg is sold for 1,200 in Ghana, I still want to confirm this. It can happen to cement too. The bulk of LPG cooking gas used in Ghana comes from Nigerian LNG, yet we pay more. If you have people in Ghana, please confirm ooooo. |

Shine your eyes, oooooooooooooo. I don't trust the car. It is a good car, but you need to have lots of cash and time to spend in maintenance. I wouldn't buy it anyway. |
I tire for this country and our leaders. They are gradually working very hard towards the disintegration. More grease to your elbow uncle Jo. |
@ Omo_Tier1 My man, the project called Nigeria is a joke which we all know, and sometimes when I post something that the one i just posted, it is just a joke. we are all aware of the fact that there is gross misconduct, mis-management and disregards for the rule of law, but what can we do. The same Sylva that is hustling to hold on to power is a product of the same PDP wants him out of there, so he should understand the rule of the game and not necessarily the rule of law now. Nigeria is a lawless nation and it didn't start today, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to get this project called Nigeria; right. My bro, it pains my heart that things are like this in our dear country, but come Jan, we must all stand up against oppression from the head, if a govt cannot take care of the citizens, they have no business being in power. The problem of this nation is overwhelming, and it is only GOD who can turn things around. God bless. |
Na Sylva papa get PDP for Bayelsa, abeg make him go sit down, his time is passed, it time for another person to chop. He is going to court to get court orderr as if na him family get the right alone to rule the Bayelsa. |
This is why our banks are not moving forward, because borrowers leverage of the power of limited liability company to divert loans into private use, but mind you, when the law comes down heavily on the companies, the managers of the company will be held responsible. It is not fair to go borrow money from a bank in a business name and divert the same funds into private use and even divert shareholders funds into private use and at the end of the day the company is declared broke. I am pretty sure he has not been paying salaries to his staffs. The same goes to people who work with Zoom Nigeria mobile, aka Reltel. They have not been paid salaries for more than 8 months now, the workers are suffering and just hoping that one day e go better and they will get their salaries, please make una ask Annie Okonkwo ( the owner of Zoom Mobile) what he is doing with borrowed funds and the profits made from the enterprise called Reltel or Zoom mobile. His internet service is the worst, the company cannot even upgrade to 3G talk of 4G. I'm out of here joooooooo. |
I dare the FG, they can't, they NO FIT do am, oyaaa, publish am make we see them see their faces. Please don't publish names from Niger republic and Mali ooooo or Chad. |
Into whose pocket will be money be paid? |
As mentioned above, DAAR communications liability with Fidelity is put at over 7 billion naira, what is the worth of DAAR communication's asset put together? is it up to 1 billion? Can someone in the house tell us how much raypower radio station is worth, and how much AIT is worth. What are his other holdings, his wives? What are they worth? Guys give me answers here, |
Soon the next policy will be that we all must obtain name plates (which is claimed to have GPS security tracking system) and place them in front of our homes for identification and tracking purposes. Watch out. This our govt lack strategic and developmental ideas that can take this nation to the next leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevel. |
How much will it cost to de-register the plate number, what about cars which already have their registration number inscribed on the windscreen, mirrors and door handles and other trivial places on the car, how can that be undone. I don't understand your position, but you need to think my brother. |
I hope our leaders and especially uncle Jonathan will also eat ofada and abakaliki rice which are not even available. I don't know why uncle Jo is putting the cart before the horse. If you want Nigeria to stop buying imported rice, he must set up rice processing plant to process this rice into stuffs that we can eat without being harassed by stones. Come to think of it, Ofada rice doesn't even come cheap, please peeps, go out tomorrow and buy a pack of ofada rice, I think a pack of 500grams is sold for about 280 or 300 naira, and this pack cannot even feed an adult. Peeps, we need prayers in this country. |
I am ashamed of the leaders we have in this nation. In a nation that lack basic infrastructure, health, energy and what have you, the list is endless, our leaders are busy designing avenues of extorting money from Nigerians, brethren in Nairaland, Nigeria is a failed state, there is no two ways about it, it is very pathetic we are being ruled by this diseased brains called politicians. It is a shame on all the technocrats in the present government. I see no use for this new number plates which obviously is a total fraud designed to extort money from Nigerians, total fraud. I will not apply for this number plate unless the claims by the agencies of the security features and other things they claim it has is proved technically. I need to see the security features work, and need to know how this will improve my life as a citizen of this nation and also add value to this nation. I think we should be prepared to challenge this in court when the need arises, enough of this fraud in the name of number plates. |
Our leaders cannot change. The probe is never going to yield any result, it is just to pacify Nigerians who have raised issue on this. At the end of the day, they will publish result of the probe and tell us she did not buy the mansion or someone who bears the same name bought the property, not her. Nigeria is gone. We need prayers for God to cleanse this nation. |
Nigeria is ruled by leaders who lack vision for the future of this country. I am surprised at the young man called Chidoka who heads FRSC. He's so called reasons are myopic, manipulative, and lacks substance. The bottom line is that we do not need any new plate number. With the old ones, they can still have their database if they started out to do thing the way it should be done. If we need gadgets that could track our cars, we know where to get it. You don't expect someone to buy a car for 500k and then spend 80 to 90k to register the vehicle, it just ridiculous. Chidoka repent and stop planning to milk Nigerians. We have enough issue to tackle, fuel palaver, toll gate, lekki toll gate, Benin Ore Road, fuel subsidy, poor standard of education, lack of power, increase in electricity tarrif, insecurity, boko haram wahala, the list is endless. Please ooooooo. |
Congrats Nwando that is a good one. |
ordinary medal oooooo even at the highest office? It only shoes how shoddy things are done in this country, it oes a long way to tell you how difficult it could be to get the right things done. There are lots of last minute addition of names which shouldn't have been on the list. Nollywood names?, what are some of those names doing on the list. Uncle JO doesn't even know the number of awardees. It is just a shame. Big one ooooooo. Naija is in a mess, abeg. |
For me, Ovaltine makes a memorable impact. I remember the song always and those healthy lively kids singing along. " I'm working on sunshine" it is wonderful, I love the ad. |
that suicide bomber is nothing but a bandit, I don't see any blood running in his veins, seriously, he is just a filthy pig and a big shame to his generation over there. How on earth can he believe that he could have sex in the spiritual. I am sure he is in the hottest part of hell now enjoying his 1 million virgins. This is pathetic. why can't his sponsor go for this mission first? |
Brand new Nokia 1800 is sold for 4,100 naira. Used one should go for 2k |
