You don't have to visit the 36 states in Nigeria before accepting that Nigerian girls are leeches, especially the beautiful ones. A recent research conducted early this year shows 98.674% of beautiful Nigerian girls don't have sense.

Why do some men (or should I say boys) assume that all Nigerian girls are the same?

A boy will stay in his state of Lagos or Edo or Enugu and conclude that all Nigerian girls are leeches just because of what he has experience in that particular state in the hands of one or two girls.

A girl will stay in her state of Oyo or Rivers or Anambra and conclude that Nigerian men are stingy or unromantic just because of her experiences with one or two men in those states.

Usually, people who make these stereotypical statements have not been to more than three States out of the 36 States in the country. Most of them have never been outside their geopolitical regions before. They spent all their lives in their regions. But they are quick to make a sweeping statement like "Nigerian girls are..." and "Nigerian men are..."

One wonders how they come about their statistics to conclude on the habits of a particular set of people. Before you make a sweeping statement about Nigeria men or women, you should have at least visited and experienced 30 out of the 36 states in the country.

Here in Calabar, a bottle of the regular beer goes for nothing less than N700. Some go as high as N850. These same bottles of beer were sold between N200-250 before the arrival of APC. Seems even beer shouldn't be for the poor and average in Nigeria.

We have good people in Nigeria BUT majority are insane, just stvpid, or extremely depressed. ^{Most Nigerians are battling with severe mental issue but masquerading it as cruise.}

I remember during the Endsarz protest, we all came out to render our voice to the struggle, to demand an end to police brutality UNTIL all of a sudden, some people started burning BRTs, banks and looting shops.

People blame politicians for the toxicity and hate among the youths. But this is just a case of justifying and encouraging this very silly behaviours, by making stupid excuses for it.

If you keep insisting that insulting politicians is okay with the excuse that 'they are corrupt' , cancelling and abusing Old and young who share opposite political opinion with the lame excuse that 'you are fighting for better Nigeria' ..... then what of these unwarranted, inexcusable hate on foreigners who did nothing wrong?

Forty-four civilians have been killed by "armed terrorist groups" in two villages in northeastern Burkina Faso near the Niger border, a regional governor said Saturday.

The provisional toll of "this despicable and barbaric attack" which targeted the villages of Kourakou and Tondibi in northeast Burkina Faso overnight Thursday "is 44 civilians killed and others wounded," said Rodolphe Sorgho, lieutenant-governor of the Sahel region.

Sorgho said that 31 people had died in Kourakou and 13 in Tondibi.

The regional official said that an army offensive put "out of action the armed terrorist groups" that carried out the killings.

The governor also assured that "actions to stabilize the area are under way."

The impoverished Sahel country is grappling with a 7-year-old campaign by jihadis linked to al-Qaida and the Islamic State group.

A resident of Kourakou told Agence France-Presse that "a large number of terrorists burst into the village" late Thursday.

"All night long, we heard gunfire. It was on Friday morning that we saw that there were several dozen dead," he said.
Locals said the village had been targeted in retaliation for the lynching of two jihadis a few days earlier who had tried to steal cattle.

It was one of the deadliest attacks since Captain Ibrahim Traore came to power in a coup last September,

In February, 51 soldiers were killed in an attack on Deou, in the far north of the country.

The latest twin attacks happened close to the village of Seytenga, where 86 civilians were killed last June in one of the bloodiest attacks of a long-running insurgency.

Burkina Faso's new military chief this week vowed to step up a "dynamic offensive" against jihadis following a string of insurgent attacks since the start of the year.

"The dynamic offensive underway in the past few weeks will be stepped up to force armed groups to lay down their weapons," said Colonel Celestin Simpore after a handover ceremony following his appointment last week.

Thousands killed, millions displaced

Since the jihadis launched their campaign from neighboring Mali in 2015, more than 10,000 civilians, troops and police have been killed, according to one NGO estimate, and at least 2 million people have been displaced.

Official figures say jihadis effectively control about 40% of the country.

Frustration within the military led to two military coups last year. Traore, who came to power in September, has vowed to fight back and recover conquered territory.

But the jihadis have carried out a succession of raids and ambushes since the start of the year, inflicting heavy tolls on civilians and military-escorted convoys.

Burkina's beleaguered army has recently acquired foreign-made drones, and regularly issues video footage of strikes against purported terrorists and troops described as reconquering and securing lost territory.

Since Traore seized power last year, the activities of all political parties and civil society organizations in the country have been suspended.

Good morning my people, I am writing you people at this delicate hour of 12:39am because my son's condition, it's getting worse by the day.

Dandruff wants to kill this beautiful boy, I know it's weird because we all know, myself included that dandruff doesn't kill, but watching myself lose a part of my son everyday.

He's been suffering from this condition for over 6yrs now, we've gone to the hospital and after buying and using all the prescribed drugs (Nizoral shampoo, selsun blue, head and shoulders, tea tree oil, miconazole cream, ketoconazole cream, terbinafine cream, fluconazole tablet, terbinafine tablet: almost killed my son, griseofulvin etc) nothing has changed, instead it's getting worse by day.

These Ebira people are originally from Chad and joined the Fulani Jihadist side to wrestle power from the Kanuris but where defeated and driven off the Kanuri emirate.

You are just uttering rubbish. The language mistaken as Ebira could actually be Kanuri. Most Boko Haram members are kanuris. The fact that Kanuri was not mentioned as a language used for the sermon is an indication that the Ebira the person mentioned is not Ebira but Kanuri.
