How about halliburton and 16 billion dollars OBJ' s electrification project? Open and close cases, yet nobody has been held accountable. |
Omololu007:What choice do you have? For all I know you could be a thief yourself or an inherent foool. Inherent in the sense that as a child you were brought up to respect omotas like most Nigerians- victims. |
Has he fixed his teeth? Oyinbos can do miracles with rotten, but it requires constant and delicate maintenance. |
Hishuula:Yes man! Respect. |
Hitler? That you s a name only psychopaths cherish. |
MEND take note. The only way buhari can win my heart is by bringing men like to book and making them accountable. |
It is just lack of sex and urge to fill it sometimes when you are semiconscious, sleeping. What you think about is what you dream about. When you are troubled, you dream trouble and when you happy, you dream happy. |
FitnessNigeria:There are more yourubas in compacted, dingy and mouldy project of brixton and peckan in England than in Igbo land. They blame everybody for their inability to explore other parts of their country and expect others to remain the same. How is the country going to function if the people don't explore, interact and integrate? How are we going to become modern humans if we continue to live in the past? |
This is what they need, they don't need a governor to voice their political opinions and interest in a state where they are law abiding citizen. They just need a strong political force that can represent their interests. Interests shiuksnt be getting contracts through the back door like Tinubu, but making sure that the services they pay their taxes for are duly and fairly delivered by the government. At the same time they should be paying interest at what is going on their states of origin, gaining ground politically and making sure the thieves there are put in check too. Nigerians are way too primitive to form a union on the basis of a country, they are still very much in a tribal mode and the way things are going, anything can happen. Like Yemen. |
Nigeria will either strengthen up or split up. We can't be living in the 21st century, enjoying its magics, even though we don't understand his it works and still be taking refuge in our tribal affiliations in order to hide our weaknesses and impose our primitive imstincts on others. Lagos can not be a sort after mega slum without Nigerians, not yorubas. Take out the rest of Nigerians from Lagos,it will be like deflated tire and its commercial value will be the same as places like Ibadan or ife. |
Just because APC or whatever it is called runs Lagos does not mean the rights of PDP supporters should be trampled upon. The same policies and laws applies to all, irrespective of party membership. But because you guys live in a distorted society where rogue politicians manipulates the hypnotised electoral that are not capable of making sound decisions for themselves, being a member of non ruling party in Nigeria seem more like being a second class citizen.Igbos doesn't need the governor to exercise their human rights in Lagos.Alll they need is law, standing firmly by it and making it clear. |
I hope she makes a difference? The women politicians are just as wayward as the men in Nigeria. All for what they can enmass for themselves, their families and their cohorts. I have never seen very primitive people like African politicians, they are clueless about the basic concept of what a society means. Even jungle primates have better order on how a society can be managed fairly, efficiently and progressively. All the creatures do,except Africans. |
Was he an area boy before he became the oba? Did he totally reject brainwashed western education? He is so unpolished talking like that. |
afeda:You for the kano emir was almost assainated recently by dissidents. Nothing remains forever, especially backward thinking. The only thing that prevails is reasoning and it is the only the thing that overcomes miseries. Democracy is not for a tribal society,it is for a civilised world and if you guys want to remain tribal, you have to sever ties with the real world, just like places like Yemen and Afghanistan. You can't be leaving off the the pools of resources from south and still be acting like chaka the Zulu. |
Lagos like any other part of Nigeria belongs to Nigerians. And those that are able to keep up with the trends inhabits the land. Commercial cities like Lagos are systematically expensive and those that are not able to keep up will relocate to less expensive hinterlands and villages. It doesn't matter whether you are Yoruba,Igbo or Hausa. |
They must be the association of Yoruba fraudsters and area boys/girls abroad. They are being unreasonable, irratiinal and biased like people that haven't left their hunter gathering settlements for once. Even the queen of England will lose her respectful place among the people if she was daft enough to make such a divicive and inciting statement. |
Nigerian houses are like prisons with little or no emergency exits. Welders need to redesign the corrugated bars on windows to be able to open from the inside. |
All these gluttonous companies knows how to cover their backs when it comes to imposing unexpected debts on consumers. All their contract policies are many n to favour them, whichever way. I wonder how the court managed to stop them? They probably need to get some clue from heavy dogs like sky. |
It could have actually taken an agbero"omotar-were" monarch to utter that if actually he said it. Normal monarchs threads sensitively, they are everybody fathers. |
If buhari can not open the books for men like OBJ and legally bring them to justice, then he is not on about change. |
Trut:He should be ostracised from Igbo land,he is a traitor. |
You just happened to have dealt with a reasonable company/people and you turn out to be what they want. That is how it works in a rational environment. The best gets job,not the dubiously connected. |
belabela:Why should Lagos be deprived of federal allocation? By who? Don't tell me it is tyrant OBJ,because he does not represent the people? Just because a party is not in power does not mean the party members constitutional rights are not protected like the rest by the he ruling party. |
Octaves:They are thinking like tribesmen, totally oblivious of the basic concept of why people live together. They misunderstood the evolutionary concept of hunter gathering, small settlements, hamlets, towns, cities, municipalities, states, countries, regions and continents. And even space. They killed millions of igbos to keep Nigeria together, yet they are the ones already tired of the units n. If they dont want one country, let the country split up amicably, then the people will know their places. |
Adewunmi84:Nigeria is a country, any Nigerian can live and thrive where ever he or she deems suitable. But because of your undying tribal instinct, even when you could be a graduate, you think backward. Totally misunderstanding and misinterpreting what a simple thing like a country means. |
Among my greatest icons in Nigeria,my very few icons are Yoruba's. Abami,Solarin,Gani and co.But on a bigger scale, most are just very unreasonably tribal and rigid. |
Yorubas, on average adores thugs. They fear, adore and look up to them for guidance and pittance. And that is why area boy's culture never seems to go away,it is a part and parcel of typical yoruba political scenarios, the politicians rely on it to intidate and dominate the people. A good example is Tinubu and now an oba that the people use to revere as gods for their uprightness and neutrality has condescended so low to the point of messing with politics of thuggery, intimidation and looting. |
There is a saying in my place that goes "When a child washes his hands thoroughly,he eats the king". But in this case, the king is the one with soiled hands, hence his rejection by even the children. You get what you give. |
If PDP didn't win presidential in Lagos, how will they win the governorship? Or anything changed to put rigging in check? I am sure Yoruba's from hinterlands will be galvanised to come and vote for APC. |
When did traditional rulers become partisans? No wonder they are being kidnapped these days for ransom, some of them are just as wayward and morally corrupt like the politicians and people have no respect or reverence anymore for what use to be the hub that keeps the people spirit alive. |
