How about halliburton and 16 billion dollars OBJ' s electrification project?

Open and close cases, yet nobody has been held accountable.

What choice do you have? For all I know you could be a thief yourself or an inherent foool. Inherent in the sense that as a child you were brought up to respect omotas like most Nigerians- victims.

FitnessNigeria:
You cant get an opportunity in a place where you have no stake.

Igbos have lots and lots of stake in Lagos, did yu see igbos contesting for elective post in any other south west state? how many yorubas have any stake in igboland? even northerners have much larger stake in the east than yoruobas.
There are more yourubas in compacted, dingy and mouldy project of brixton and peckan in England than in Igbo land. They blame everybody for their inability to explore other parts of their country and expect others to remain the same.

How is the country going to function if the people don't explore, interact and integrate? How are we going to become modern humans if we continue to live in the past?
PoliticsRe: A Lagos Igbo Beat APC Chairman's Son To Clinge Lagos Assembly Seat by redsun(m): 12:43pm On Apr 12, 2015
This is what they need, they don't need a governor to voice their political opinions and interest in a state where they are law abiding citizen. They just need a strong political force that can represent their interests. Interests shiuksnt be getting contracts through the back door like Tinubu, but making sure that the services they pay their taxes for are duly and fairly delivered by the government. At the same time they should be paying interest at what is going on their states of origin, gaining ground politically and making sure the thieves there are put in check too.

Nigerians are way too primitive to form a union on the basis of a country, they are still very much in a tribal mode and the way things are going, anything can happen. Like Yemen.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Appeal To Lagos Govt, Police To Protect Them After Elections by redsun(m): 12:05pm On Apr 12, 2015
Nigeria will either strengthen up or split up. We can't be living in the 21st century, enjoying its magics, even though we don't understand his it works and still be taking refuge in our tribal affiliations in order to hide our weaknesses and impose our primitive imstincts on others.

Lagos can not be a sort after mega slum without Nigerians, not yorubas. Take out the rest of Nigerians from Lagos,it will be like deflated tire and its commercial value will be the same as places like Ibadan or ife.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Appeal To Lagos Govt, Police To Protect Them After Elections by redsun(m): 11:29am On Apr 12, 2015
Just because APC or whatever it is called runs Lagos does not mean the rights of PDP supporters should be trampled upon. The same policies and laws applies to all, irrespective of party membership.

But because you guys live in a distorted society where rogue politicians manipulates the hypnotised electoral that are not capable of making sound decisions for themselves, being a member of non ruling party in Nigeria seem more like being a second class citizen.Igbos doesn't need the governor to exercise their human rights in Lagos.Alll they need is law, standing firmly by it and making it clear.
PoliticsRe: History Has Been Made In Taraba State by redsun(m): 12:26am On Apr 12, 2015
I hope she makes a difference? The women politicians are just as wayward as the men in Nigeria. All for what they can enmass for themselves, their families and their cohorts.

I have never seen very primitive people like African politicians, they are clueless about the basic concept of what a society means.

Even jungle primates have better order on how a society can be managed fairly, efficiently and progressively. All the creatures do,except Africans.

afeda:
Whatever insults the Yorubas are getting from their igbo counterpart today is entirely their fault , can any yoruba do most the things the igbos are doing in any eastern part of the country without incuring the wrath of the Igbo people?. While the yorubas were busy selling all their lands and properties to the Igbos in Lagos and behaving as if money is everything , they did not know or think that a time like this will come when the Igbos will become this arrogant in their land. Very soon you will see these Igbos driving out the Yorubas from Lagos. because the Yorubas have sold their birth rites to them. The Igbos all over the world are the same, From Ajegunle in Lagos Nigeria to Maryland in the U. S.A, you give them an inch, they will always want to take a mile, you never can satisfy them, very arrogant and disrespective. Let them go to Kano and say any rubbish to their Emir as they are doing now to Oba of Lagos. Shame on the Yoruba people!
You for the kano emir was almost assainated recently by dissidents. Nothing remains forever, especially backward thinking. The only thing that prevails is reasoning and it is the only the thing that overcomes miseries.

Democracy is not for a tribal society,it is for a civilised world and if you guys want to remain tribal, you have to sever ties with the real world, just like places like Yemen and Afghanistan. You can't be leaving off the the pools of resources from south and still be acting like chaka the Zulu.
PoliticsRe: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by redsun(m): 6:08pm On Apr 11, 2015
Lagos like any other part of Nigeria belongs to Nigerians. And those that are able to keep up with the trends inhabits the land.

Commercial cities like Lagos are systematically expensive and those that are not able to keep up will relocate to less expensive hinterlands and villages. It doesn't matter whether you are Yoruba,Igbo or Hausa.
PoliticsRe: ‘enough Of Igbo Disruption In Lagos’ - Yorubas Outside Nigeria Speak by redsun(m): 5:44pm On Apr 11, 2015
They must be the association of Yoruba fraudsters and area boys/girls abroad. They are being unreasonable, irratiinal and biased like people that haven't left their hunter gathering settlements for once.

Even the queen of England will lose her respectful place among the people if she was daft enough to make such a divicive and inciting statement.

nairaland and PDP progaganda. How much dollars were you given? It seems you not consumed all.

How many states survived without federal allocation? Only Lagos defiled FG and survived yet in your own little brain Lagos is serving Tinubu. Really? And we should habnd over Lagos to Bode George and Koro to develop it like NPA and ministry of defence - where army officers were turned to election riggers.

Very soon nairaland will go the way of GEJ. na so e dey start. Gani Adams no fit commot for house now..the shame plenty
Why should Lagos be deprived of federal allocation? By who? Don't tell me it is tyrant OBJ,because he does not represent the people?

Just because a party is not in power does not mean the party members constitutional rights are not protected like the rest by the he ruling party.

your people are the ones crying a river. Their dulling selves can't keep up with the igbos hence the bitterness and complaints- igbo this igbo that. Not that we want the land but as long as there is one Nigeria, You guys cant even force us out of Lagos else naija will be a thing of the past. Deluded tribalist
They are thinking like tribesmen, totally oblivious of the basic concept of why people live together. They misunderstood the evolutionary concept of hunter gathering, small settlements, hamlets, towns, cities, municipalities, states, countries, regions and continents. And even space.

They killed millions of igbos to keep Nigeria together, yet they are the ones already tired of the units n. If they dont want one country, let the country split up amicably, then the people will know their places.

I have decided to kept mute on this issue not until I saw some silly goats on nairaland who called themselves igbo spewing gibberish.Quite alright,we know that oba of lagos have spoken in excess of what was expected of him but the yorubas including those who own the party he was campaigning for during the meeting with the igbos have apologised on behalf of the monarch. It is so rude, disrespectful, ungrateful and foolish for people to continue calling the oba different kind of names especially on nairaland after the oba's palace have denied by saying that people miscontrued what the oba said. Some stupid people here on nairaland went as far as asking question to know which help have the yorubas really done to the igbos in lagos state. How I wish this kind of thing happened in the northern states and you guys keep insulting their emirs the way you are insulting kabiyesi. The fact remains that the oba really messed up but the igbos should have been cool and calm up to the point of election day n then speak with their votes rather than insulting the monarch.Because the yorubas don't like keeping enemies does not mean that they don't know what they are doing. You can't come from your villages and lay claim to what doesn't belong to you.Something the yorubas n the other tribes can't even try in your villages. It is so good to know that the igbos contributed meaningfully to the development of lagos state but that does not equate to that lagos is no man's land. This is south west but not SS/SE.I urge you igbos that if you think Lagos state will not develop more if you guys leave to your various villages,I challenge you to go back to your various villages and develop them. But the problem is that these guys will never want to leave lagos state to develop their villages.I only called this, greediness. They wl never go back.Just continue developing lagos state and am sure one day you guys will not have choice than to leave.Ungrateful people.Bastard people. That's for sure...
Nigeria is a country, any Nigerian can live and thrive where ever he or she deems suitable. But because of your undying tribal instinct, even when you could be a graduate, you think backward. Totally misunderstanding and misinterpreting what a simple thing like a country means.

Among my greatest icons in Nigeria,my very few icons are Yoruba's. Abami,Solarin,Gani and co.But on a bigger scale, most are just very unreasonably tribal and rigid.
PoliticsRe: Opc Warns Against Unbecoming Comments Directed At Oba Akiolu by redsun(m): 2:58pm On Apr 08, 2015
Yorubas, on average adores thugs. They fear, adore and look up to them for guidance and pittance. And that is why area boy's culture never seems to go away,it is a part and parcel of typical yoruba political scenarios, the politicians rely on it to intidate and dominate the people.

A good example is Tinubu and now an oba that the people use to revere as gods for their uprightness and neutrality has condescended so low to the point of messing with politics of thuggery, intimidation and looting.

There is a saying in my place that goes "When a child washes his hands thoroughly,he eats the king". But in this case, the king is the one with soiled hands, hence his rejection by even the children.

When did traditional rulers become partisans? No wonder they are being kidnapped these days for ransom, some of them are just as wayward and morally corrupt like the politicians and people have no respect or reverence anymore for what use to be the hub that keeps the people spirit alive.
