Foreign Affairs › Re: The Deindustrial Revolution: Why Doesn't Britain Make Things Any More? by redsun(m): 6:17pm On Nov 17, 2011
High standard of living come with a price- high cost. Britain cannot compete with emerging nations like china and india with cheap cost of production, resources, ample market and almost the same technological know-how. Price and necessity rules. America is in the shoes aswell, stall system that comes with the rise of the underdogs. When africa rise, asia might find herself in the same shoes. But the question is, will africa ever rise?

To be an armed robber in nigeria is suicidal. Any armed should be meticulous, ready to shoot his way out of any web and be ready to die horribly in the hands of nigerian police or angry mob if he makes mistake. There is no room for error for men of iron in naija.

The crook is just capitilizing on the tension in d country aswell his nemesis of being one step away from kirikiri to weep up tribal sentiment knowing fully well that so many tribal mugus will fall for it. Tinubu is a criminal, his opinions belong to d underworld, jailyard.
Politics › Re: Would You Refuse A National Award? by redsun(m): 7:25pm On Nov 14, 2011
It takes one to be a traitor to receive award in nigeria. That is why rational men like Achebe cannot throw their rationality to d wind and collect award from a rogue system like nigeria.

manny4life:
Great that you understand the environmental aspect, grin grin grin

I will start with the social aspect before the economic aspect

The social aspect comes to play when you have these men and women who are mechanics, come together under one umbrella for a common purpose. They share ideas perhaps on further improving working conditions, work-related complaints and comments amongst themselves with their unions, assistance of each other, perhaps volunteering, exploring different diversity, it can improve on mechanic education ----peer-to-peer mentoring etc. I mean the opportunity is endless i.e. if they utilize their time and resources judiciously.

Economic --- It promotes healthy competition such as better offering of goods and services, removal of or lesser restrictions to newer entrants, easy regulation of mechanics including certification, increase in knowledge, experience, improvement to personal finances, etc

I cannot begin to list so many things but I hope u get the idea
Nobody could have said it better.

Gaddafi was like saddam. He understood his people,he knew how to keep them sane and in line with reality.

Arabs are relatively insane people, especially when religion is involve.

Don't be deceived, most of these tears are fake!
The taste of the pudding is in the eating.Never be decieved by what is not good for you.

Women are like men and every otherthing in nature, there are good ones, and there are bad ones. What we choose to put up with in life are the things we can handle .
Romance › Re: Are Nigerian Men Cheap? by redsun(m): 8:16pm On Nov 13, 2011
Nigeria system does not genuinely permit kindness.Everybody is wary of the other and willing to take any chance to rip off others. The system encourages cheating and rip offs because the leaders are cheats and cons.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is Sliding Back To Pariah Status - Foreign Govts by redsun(m): 8:10pm On Nov 13, 2011
It paints a picture of Nigeria that is becoming a desolate land like Somalia.A Nigeria that is on a downward spin.A Nigeria that is plaque by ignorance and indiscipline.

A nigeria that is at war.

The only way out is discipline.People got to be responsible, accountable, reasonable, productive and progressive.Anything other than discipline is doom.

He was a mafia don finally caught up in the tide of time. What is going on in the world now is inevitable,it the manifestation of what must be.In other words,it is the point of equilibrium where necessity rules.

The rise of the people and the demand for equity and justice.

Women are carved out by nature to mellow,to calm situations and put things in order,a true woman is an order in chaos. But the modern day woman wants to be everything, wants to be like a man that she is not.Joggling everything and losing out of everthing.

The ladies, the madams and the trouser wearers.Let me the other word that summons all.
Education › Re: Pictures Of A Primary School In Nigeria by redsun(m): 12:04am On Nov 13, 2011
Learning in nigeria is more of imagination than practical reality. They teach children to imagine things instead of practicing things. To imagine a clean, tidy, and well structured classroom that he/she is suppose to be studying,to imagine a school where children are decently dressed and well fed.And so on and so forth.
Education › Re: Pictures Of A Primary School In Nigeria by redsun(m): 11:49pm On Nov 12, 2011
Why is the moderator messi-ng with this thread?School are reflections of the mentality of a society. What the adults know is what they teach the children,in the works, acts and deeds. And that is what the children copies.

Education › Re: Pictures Of A Primary School In Nigeria by redsun(m): 11:10pm On Nov 12, 2011
The reason why nigerians miss out greatly in education is that they failled to realize the environment and surroundings are the cores of education. They failed to see education around them, limiting it solely to books without an atom practicality.

Women politics could be very trivial.Have u ever worked in a school or hospital, women dominated work environment? It feels like a mental home some times.Just my observations.

His hands were kind of tied,he couldn't control a superstar like Micheal who was hooked on drugs that kept him going.Probably hooked already before he met the doctor.

He couldn't exercise his power as doctor on Micheal and those that wants to keep him going, the money makers.
