Yes you are correction with the assertion that we still have standard reinforcement bars. But you will agree with me that it’s not everybody that are using or can accord that.

I will not want to go into the technical part of this but here’s what I will recommend and what we have implemented in time past.

Foundation mat =>12mm
Chain beam => 16mm
Columns => 16mm
Stirrup => 10mm
Main beam => 16mm
Slab => 12mm

With the current size of rods when doing entrance gate piller for rolling gate is 12mm rod size sufficient?

And can the piller reenforcement size be 4 x4" and total body size after casting beam 18x 18"?

The basket is 22 x22"

What is the price for the gray gate?

Hello house , i recently requested a new wall in the varrender of 4ft , so as to increase the size of the visitors toilet .

I'm thinking if I should excavate the foundation up to the ground amd blind with concrete before introducing the new wall.

Or put a bean across the DPC a d put the new load .
Ps the dpc doesn't have a coping/beam just block.

Pleas someone should suggest what would be best for the base of this new wall.

Thanks chief. Perhaps I didn't ask the question well enough. I meant workmanship for casting of 4' DPC on a 30×60ft area. All materials provided.

Would need 2 to 3 bricklayers to tap. And a team of concrete mixers (concrete women)

Concrete mixing might negotiate between 100 to 140k

@ROTECCH i saw the elegance of the high pop celine in 3rd picture and got me thinking how beautiful the pop beams would look if they had LONG PROFILE LIGHT WITH RUNNING STRIP from celine to wall.

I think the polystyrene should be cost effective. I have just installed POP on an approximately 80sqm space, it cost me 30 bags Pop cement, 42kg fillers, 3kg binding wire, and other materials like soaps, groundnut oil, nails. Was charged #1,300/sqm for labour for simple designs. Check the costs of all these and compare with the polystyrene quotation you got.

This 1300 price is it recently?

If u have a fair knowledge Price with ur bricklayer on the cost per block n multiply by the total blocks u need to lintel. Then make a 30% addition for half blocks . That should put u close to ur actuall

Hello house does anyone know the current rate of tiling per sqm?

Hello house please what is the cost to dress a 4x4 window.

See the workings below:

*House base area= 9.6 * 9.6= 92.16sqm
*Eaves = 0.5m (see what it means in the image in the link I shared with you).

*Pitch = 4.2/4.8 = 0.875 (where 4.2 is kingpost height and 4.8 is half of the width of the house)
Convert 0.875 to fraction with 12 as denominator... which gives 10.5/12 approximately 11/12 .... This is the roof pitch.

Input house base area, eaves and roof pitch in the calculator to get 155.2 sqm.

*Multiply 155.2 by the correction factor of 1.357 which corresponds to 11/12 roof pitch (scroll to the bottom of the calculator page).
Ans is 210.6064 sqm.

This is not an absolute answer, it is subject to corrections and criticism.
