The fact you're seeing pictures means it's feasible BUT might not be feasible in your location.

Water is the best for compaction of soil, it removes the pores and compacts the soil in the process.
However, this method of casting the ground floor after raising the wall to lintel level is a wrong practise. You are supposed to have cast the ground floor foundation before raising the superstructural walls.
This method exposes the foundation to vegetation growth that causes movement within the foundation and cracking . Also the overiste concrete would not be well placed on the foundation blocks and can cause subsidence of the concrete and raising dampness.

The choice of whether to compact or not , will depend on how leveled and strong the top surface is. If there are depressions then you refill and compact and if the is need to cut off excess fill do so, to have an even thickness of the concrete.

More so formwork can be removed once the concrete or any materials is strong ENOUGH to hold itself..
but practically it’s not good to load the concrete before 28days if the form-work / shoring removed

Nothing is wrong with the shower at the window side. But remember you are to run 100mm soil pipe for the WC and to run it through the floor screed and get the require slope hmmmm..Also the floor screed will increase in height also

[b]Technically one can have an unlimited cantilever span provided one has more than twice the weight (from [/b]the mass/length of the span) on the other side acting as a counterbalance.

The problem is that the beam depth(as in thickness /deepness lol) increases with the span. At a point, it becomes uneconomical

Nigerian engineers are just lazy and prefer to work with rules of thumb rather than run their own bending moment and acceptable deflection calculations each time
