BKayy:You sound like just the type of beast they are trying to escape. |
googlepikins:Stop talking rubbish. What propaganda? You no dey read news? You don't see what is happening in your region? If YOU were a wealthy Igbo man today, would you not be looking at the situation in your homeland and wondering if it's time to step, abi you like bullet? |
Insecurity - Wealthy Igbos Moving to Lagos and the North To Escape UGM Many middle and upper class Igbos are now FLEEING the south east and relocating to Lagos, Benin, Jos, Abuja, Kano etc IN DROVES, to escape the deteriorating security situation in the south-east, a region now seemingly at the mercy of heavily armed IPOB thugs, also known as 'unknown gunmen'. It is feared that this EXODUS of the monied Igbo classes will further worsen the already dire economic situation in the south east. It is indeed a stunning irony that Igbos are fleeing violence in the South East for safety in the lands of their historic northern Hausa/Fulani adversaries. Such is the sorry state of the south east. Exodus - Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu. https://sunnewsonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/IMG-20200909-WA0062.jpg |
SLAP44:You're a liar from hell. The evidence screams you're a liar. You can lie to man, but you can't lie to your Maker. One day you will account for 'bearing false witness'. Ekwensu. |
udele1:If he's turning Igbo youth into cold-blooded murderers killing their own people, we could certainly do without him. |
mybiz234:In some modern, computerised trains, yes, unless the driver then goes into emergency mode, and forces acceleration, say he's inside a tunnel for instance, and needs to move out for safety reasons etc. |
mybiz234:Insofar as it stops the train moving, either through the direct action of the driver (as instructed), or through automatic design, a malfunctioning door can constitute a breakdown. You seem to have it in your head that 'breakdown' means engine failure of some sort. Like how a car breaks down. That's not how it is with trains Mr. In trains a driver can even stop because he saw some flashing lights come up in his dashboard indicating there is some mechanical issue, and he would stop, even though the train can run perfectly well! That stop constitutes a breakdown! Until the source of the fault is discoverd by an engineer. |
sunboy:Do you know what 'operational' means? It means: ''in or ready for use, eg "the new laboratory is fully operational"'' - Oxford Dictionary https://www.google.com/search?q=operational+meaning&sxsrf=AOaemvIQlu-MGQBt1cx8u2aB5r-KotB7wQ%3A1632945489860&source=hp&ei=UcVUYZ_cMIiQxc8PqaasmA4&iflsig=ALs-wAMAAAAAYVTTYYM7L5xdj4tjuqp8reljKIWLoKDb&oq=operational&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAEYCDIICAAQgAQQsQMyCAgAEIAEELEDMgsIABCABBCxAxCDATILCAAQgAQQsQMQgwEyCAgAEIAEELEDMgUIABCABDILCAAQgAQQsQMQgwEyBQgAEIAEMgUIABCABDIFCAAQgAQ6BQgAEJECOgQIABBDOggILhCABBCxAzoOCC4QgAQQsQMQxwEQ0QM6EQguEIAEELEDEMcBENEDEMkDOgUIABCSAzoRCC4QgAQQsQMQgwEQxwEQrwE6CwguEIAEELEDEIMBOggIABCxAxCDAToICC4QsQMQgwE6BQguEIAEOg4ILhCABBCxAxCDARCTAlDTBVj5E2CpK2gAcAB4AIABigGIAZcIkgEDNy40mAEAoAEB&sclient=gws-wiz So, are Nigeria's high speed trains ''in or ready for use'', ie operational? Yes they are. Now run along, you miserable twerp. |
mybiz234:Stop shifting the goalpost. A breakdown is a breakdown. There is no distinction in the railway industry between a 'major' and 'minor' breakdown. That's a matter of personal opinion, and perhaps the degree to which you were affected by it.. It's no comfort that it's only a 'minor' breakdown if you're stranded in an underground tunnel, sometimes for hours, as happens quite regularly in the UK. |
Cognitivereason:This alone indicates you don't know what you're talking about. Lagos–Kano Standard Gauge Railway Technical Track gauge 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge Operating speed 150–250 km/h (93–155 mph) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagos%E2%80%93Kano_Standard_Gauge_Railway And that a fact proven with a quick search on google.. Secondly the operating speed is going to be around 120km..cuz realistically speaking no one runs a product at maximum capacity except you want to shorten it lifespan...Dude, I posted evidence of everything i claimed. Don't fail to read the posts and then interject with stuff that makes it clear you've not read the evidence as posted. |
Gamesmart:So...you, presumably a black person, is calling another black person ''black monkey''? Can't you see you're a lost, repulsive entity? You claim to be in the UK. I dare you to go out on the street and calling any black person that racist slur, and see how quickly you hit your grave. Pathetic, ignorant, colonised, mentally enslaved, self-hating, brainwashed coon from goodness-knows-what-hole-in the ground. Here's a lesson for your colonised head. 'Black' skin is caused by the chemical Melanin, which is a BLESSING from the Creator, to protect his children from the sun rays of the world's hottest continent. Caucasians develop multiple skin and bodily diseases by long exposure to the sun. Black Africans don't. Without MELANIN that causes them to be brown/black, the African people would have been extinct many thousands of years ago. You are literally alive today BECAUSE you are black. Courtesy of your Creator. Chew on that next time you consider yourself a 'black monkey'. |
SUFFERInSMILIIN:If the standard gauge rail line cannot carry cargo, pray, WHAT type of rail are you talking about, dude? You're full of bullcrap. The Warri-Ajaokuta-Itakpe line carries massive steel pipes, and you're saying the lines cannot carry containers? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C45T3kgY3rg |
Cognitivereason:It's not an exaggeration. It's a fact. |
sunboy:Use your head. A car that can reach speeds of 300 km per hour is a high speed car, whether or not the driver goes that fast. Same as trains, planes, helicopters, ships, boats, tricycles, okada, or any other vehicle. |

wallarwallar:Our international airports? You clearly have NOT been in ''our international airports''. NGpatriot:Honestly, I'm still wondering what the Jonathan administration did with all that money they made during that time, with high oil prices for several years. Kai. |
mybiz234:A minimum of 5 trains break down everyday in London. They are usually referred to as 'signal failures', to deflect criticism for what are really train breakdowns. One more thing. You need to understand what a 'train breakdown' means. It could be virtually any fault with the train's mechanical and structural functioning. A carriage door that refuses to shut properly in one of the coaches will immobilise a modern train. The train will not move until an engineer is brought in to fix the door. Even a problem track can halt a train, till the issue is fixed. THAT is a train breakdown too even though the train itself is fine! Passengers are still delayed for hrs as a result. Other times it could be some engine problem. The UK and US rail networks are actually quite antiquated in many places, even though modernisation projects are occurring there. But you do find a lot of old infrastructure, including train stations that haven't been revamped in many decades. |
drlateef:Don't mind these brainwashed, white worshiping cretins. In their colonised heads, nothing untoward occurs in their 'massa's' land. |
dasparrow:Two contracts totalling nearly 6 billion dollars have been awarded for two major lines - the East-West coastal line connecting Lagos with cities all the way to Calabar, PH, Enugu, Aba etc, and a second line, the East-North line that will connect Onitsha all the way to Abuja, Kano, and Maiduguri. The same company that built what we are seeing here was contracted to build these new networks. Money has changed hands. It is simply a matter of time before we will be posting new pictures of these new rail investments that will open up the East to major high speed rail traffic. |

SUFFERInSMILIIN:Dude, please stop embarrassing yourself. I'm even embarrassed for you. Those lines are standard gauge lines for regular trains. You actually don't know what light rail is. I doubt you're working on any rail projects. |

SarkinYarki:The train station is just outside the airport. Next time you're there, read the sign postings or ask someone. It is not hidden. https://www.globalairrail.com/images/news/2018/Abuja1.jpg Here is the schedule: https://www.abuja-airport.com/metro.php |
SUFFERInSMILIIN:Lagos-Ibadan is not a light rail service Mr Man. |
SarkinYarki:Where else will it be working but in Abuja? Fly to Abuja, land there, and you can catch the light rail service from the airport to the city centre and other areas. https://cdn.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/12105755/Abuja-metro-station.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ClNkmpaWkAQ87Wn.jpg https://i2.wp.com/www.blueprint.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/IMG_3485-1.jpg?fit=750%2C936&ssl=1&w=640 |
