What is the use of the speed when they are light railways they cannot carry goods and containers.
Abuja intracity line is a light rail service, the only light rail service in the country as far as I'm aware.

Do you know what ''intracity'' means?

It means only within Abuja metropolis.

Stopping at the many different stations inside Abuja.

You need to learn what is going on in Nigeria before contributing.

So many of you are almost comically ignorant. wink

This is one of the reasons nigeria can never develop, illiterate everywhere. Other African countries are beauty industrial railway which is single wagon can carry 80 ton payload. Nigeria is beauty Light Railway which is only used for carrying people nation of illiterate
The Abuja Light Rail is designed for intracity commuter travel.

What is this knucklehead yammering about?

Is it not Nigerian money that will pay for all this?

Yes they do breakdown EVERY DAY.

My friend will you shut your trap and go learn what is going on in your country.

Ode.

Warri-Ajaokuta-Itakpe line is also ''one train'' in your head?

Abuja Light Rail System is ''one train''?

Do you think it is only ''one train'' that operates on each rail line, or network?

Go and learn how rail networks work because you have no clue.

Mr one train, two train.

ClassicMan202:
That train doesn't go more than 150-180km/h
Because they are still technically test running them to ensure safety. The NRC has said they will do this since these are the first high speed trains in West Africa, and care must be taken to ensure they run safely at such high speeds. So speed will increase incrementally.

That is the common sense approach.

Good... But I no wan hear say na high speed rail before thunder fire person
IT IS HIGH SPEED RAIL, which is commonly defined as rail speeds upwards of 200km per hour.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-speed_rail

''Abuja-Kaduna is a 186km line with standard gauge railway tracks from Idu, near Abuja, to Kaduna in the north-western region of Nigeria. It has nine stations and features both passenger and cargo trains. The passenger trains on the line can be operated at a speed between 200km/h and 250km/h.''

Same trains that always break down in bandit territory??
You should visit London or New York. Trains break down DAILY on their lines leading to long delays. No biggie. So long as you have trained engineers at hand to fix any issues, and the NRC does.

FamilyRe: Why Are Mums, Women Always Placing Restrictions On Pot Of Soup?? by Reflect7: 10:11pm On Sep 27, 2021
The high cost of the soup ingredients including meat is the reason.

We really need to make food very cheap for the average person in this country.

Also, poor power supply means most can't make use of deep freezers, which would help madam stock one month's worth of meat and other stuff, as opposed to the 'panic' that sets in when the soup pot is where the only meat in the house is. Thus needing 'protection'.

Do not be afraid. This govt is different from unserious PDP embezzlers.

The groundwork for actualising improved power supply began the very day Buhari was elected President.

People abuse this man night and day, but under him, we are witnessing massive improvement in critical infrastructure - power, rail, roads, bridges, seaports etc. These investments are the building blocks for an improved economy going forward.

Nigerians are suffering, you celebrate few hours of electricity and newly built roads...

This is my nearly two years living here and never for once has the power gone off!
My friend keep quiet. In India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc, there are power cuts daily.

IT IS A FEATURE OF DEVELOPING NATIONS IN GENERAL, ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH LARGE POPULATIONS.

It is not limited to 'Nigeria'.

u havent answered anything. let me enumerate my questions and comments for u:

1. if joseph ladapo were to be in nigeria today, would he be this successful? yes or no

2. would buhari commit himself to joseph ladapo for treatment or joseph ladapo will be on strike along with his fellow doctors?

3. FYI, God has blessed nigeria. the problem is we have people like your "darling daddy" at the helm and people like u who see nothing wrong in what they do.

wheres d correlation with d above with what u said?
ROBOT BRAIN. How can Ladapo be ''as successful'' in a country whose annual budget is 35 billion dollars as he would be in a country whose annual budget is 7.6 trillion dollars?

Is Buhari responsible for Nigeria being a low-income, developing country like 80% of nations on Earth?

How many countries can you enter today and see their doctors as well-paid as US doctors?

Do you think everywhere outside Nigeria is like USA and Germany and France?

Do you realise that those are the exceptions in a world filled with low-income developing countries like Nigeria?

Colonised goats that only see the world through the eyes of their colonisers.

BETTER GET REAL. Nigeria is a LOW INCOME, DEVELOPING COUNTRY, and that did not start, and will not end with Buhari.

Development is a PROCESS, and if YOU are too lazy and stupid to recognise your role in that process, remain a professional but useless finger pointer.

Why did they not do anything when they were in power?

''Aboki'' is the one building your 2nd Niger Bridge Onitsha. Cost: 1.2 billion dollars.

''Aboki'' is the one building your East-West coastal high speed railway. Cost: 2.5 billion dollars.

''Aboki'' is the one building your East-North high speed railway line. Cost. 3.1 billion dollars.

''Aboki'' is the one funding Enugu International Airport after your kinswoman, Stella Oduah, embezzled the millions of dollars she was given to build the facility under Jonathan.

Shameless, fraudulent people. No more money to embezzle. Go and work.

DUDE, DO YOU HAVE A WORKING BRAIN?

Do you know what Nigeria's annual budget is compared to the United States'?

I know you haven't the slightest clue.

Nigeria (pop 210 million) annual budget: 35 billion dollars.

USA (pop 320 million) annual budget: 7.7 TRILLION dollars.

So what makes you and all of you DULLARDS on Nairaland think that Nigeria should be able to pay her doctors comparable salaries to what the USA pays hers?

I mean, you all claim you went to school, but basic knowledge and analytical ability is beyond the majority of you.

Pathetic.

Your NUMBER ONE ISSUE in Nigeria today is to RAISE YOUR REVENUE THROUGH DIVERSIFICATION AWAY FROM OIL AND GAS.

The oil income is a PITTANCE for your huge population, even without corruption.

So STOP imagining that there is all this money that would solve all the nation's problems if only it were properly managed.

That is an ILLUSION.

Nigeria needs to generate more wealth. That is the NUMBER ONE PROBLEM of the country.

South Africa's annual budget for her 70 million population is 127 billion dollars. That's nearly 5 times Nigeria's annual budget.

And you wonder why South Africa is more developed?

Why she can pay her doctors more than we can ours?

We must continue to diversify. ONLY SOLUTION.

Abusing Buhari, Fulanis, Northerners, and 'Nigeria', will not help create a single dollar in increased national revenue.

YOUR BEST WAY to contribute to building that national wealth is to learn a skill and go start a business!!!
